Back in November, we covered a story from In Touch that claimed that Kourtney Kardashian and her social-climbing sociopath baby daddy, Scott Disick were going to get married in order to sell the coverage rights and cash in with their own reality show. Some of you said you doubted that story because of the dubious source, and you could have been right at the time. Only now it’s popping up again on AOL’s Popeater, and on the covers of In Touch and OK!, which all have “exclusives” (ha!) that Kourtney is engaged.
Spoilers for Kourtney and Kim take NY (if you care)
Popeater, OK! and In Touch claim that Scott proposed to Kourtney and that it’s going to be aired on the finale episode of that Kourtney and Kim Take NY show, (which I have to admit to never watching). Then Scott and Kourtney hope to get their own show, similar to the way that Khloe parlayed her relationship with Lamar Odom into quick money for her and the family.
Can’t get enough of the Kardashian clan on the small screen? Well if the answer is “yes,” then you are in luck! Kourtney K. and boyfriend Scott Disick are the latest members of the family to be in talks to get their own spinoff show for E!, and sources tell me it will revolve around their still-secret wedding plans.
“The last episode of ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ is Scott proposing,” an insider tells me. “Then just like sister Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Scott will not only get their own show but also a wedding. It’s going to be TV gold.”
Mom Kris Jenner, who is the genius behind the whole Kardashian phenomenon, is currently conceptualizing a show with E! that will follow Kourtney and Scott on the path to a wedding. I’m told it will be complete with outrageous wedding plans, chaos, dresses and, of course, Scott being a groomzilla.
The family already has ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians,’ ‘Kim and Kourtney Take New York, ‘Khloe and Lamar’ and soon, Scott and Kourtney’s untitled show. This will make them arguably [one] of the most prolific TV franchises of all time.
“What is going to make this new show a monster hit is that Scott and Kourtney are actually happier than ever,” an insider tells me. “Heading toward the alter [sic] is the next step for them with or without the cameras.”

Life and Style also has an “exclusive” that Scott proposed to Kourtney on the finale, and just sent us an announcement that she’s engaged. They quote an insider who says “The season finale, which has already been filmed, ends with Scott proposing and Kourtney accepting. It?s been really hard for them to keep it quiet. She?s so excited for the finale to air this April so she can finally go out in public with her ring on. She wears it at home all the time.”
And this is similarly an “exclusive” on OK! Magazine’s cover. I skimmed the article and it basically says that they’re engaged, and that Scott has changed. He’s supposedly “done a 180? after taking anger management classes and is trying to say sober. They give the wedding date as sometime this year.
This seems like the logical next step for the Kardashian girls. Kim is probably seething with jealousy, since she hasn’t been able to get a guy on the hook long enough to join the family business. (You know her ‘wedding news’ on the cover of In Touch is about the same as her ‘baby news’ - someday.) Maybe she likes it that way though and doesn’t want a man stealing her thunder.
Keep in mind that once Kourtney and Scott get their own reality show there are two other Kardashian daughters, Kendall, 15, and Kylie, 13, who could potentially carry on the family name. Kris has already said she’s open to it. I imagine her naming her daughters with alliterative names planning for their future in entertainment.

Stepping out for a fun-filled evening, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted at the AG Adriano Goldschmied launch of backstAGe in Las Vegas last night (February 14).
The E! reality starlet was joined by her babydaddy Scott Disick as she posed for the paparazzi outside the Marquee Nightclub in the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.
And while ladies all have different preferences for what they want for Valentine?s Day, Kourtney is happy to keep it simple.
When asked what was on her wish list, she replied, ?For me, diamonds will do the trick.?

Pairing up for a fan greeting session, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were busy working away in Santa Monica, California on Tuesday (February 8).
The E! reality star sisters both looked darling as they took to Barnes and Noble for a book signing session for their literary offering Kardashian Konfidential.
Always keeping her fans up to date, Khloe tweeted, "I just got to Barnes and Noble in Santa Monica! Yay!!!!!!! Who's here"
Once finished up, Miss Kardashian happily wrote, "Just finished another amazing Kardashian Konfidential book signing :) thank you so much for coming!!!!"

Following a full week of promotional efforts, Kourtney Kardashian took son Mason join out for a fun-filled afternoon at Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills on Saturday (January 22).
Making for quite the adorable duo, Mason was all smiles while his mommy pushed him back and fourth on the swing set before hitting the sandbox to close out the playdate.
The outing comes just one day before Kourtney's new show "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" is set to make its debut on E!.
Airing at 10/9c, the tagline for the reality spinoff series reads: "You saw the girls take Miami, but wait'll you see what they do to the Big Apple. New York, you have been warned!"

Doing some west coast promotions, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted at ?Jimmy Kimmel Live? studios in Los Angeles last night (January 20).
The ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? mommy was all smiles as she posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans.
Kourtney was in the house to promote her new show ?Kourtney and Kim Take New York,? and she told Kimmel that Kim was definitely the wild one this time around.
?Kim took over Khloe?s role in a weird way. Like, Kim was single- before Khloe and I were single, partying it up in Miami- this was Kim?s turn. She was like, on another level, like dating and having the time of her life.?

Finished up with a short press tour in New York City, Kourtney Kardashian excitedly arrived on a flight at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (January 19).
Clearly elated to be on the west coast again, the E! doll tweeted, "Back in LA baby. Nothing feels better than getting home after a long day and long flight. Nada I tell ya."
Miss Kardashian made the trip to NYC to promote her and sister Kim's new show "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," which premieres Sunday (January 23) on E!.
Having paid visits to the "Today" show, MTV Studios and the "Wendy Williams Show," the series kicks off by documenting the opening of the ladies' new Dash clothing boutique.

All prettied up for another day of press effort, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were spotted out for an appearance on "Live With Regis and Kelly" on Wednesday morning (January 19).
The E! reality sisters were swarmed by fans and photogs as they entered the local studio to promote their new reality show "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" - which debuts on Sunday, January 23rd.
Tweeting about the outing, Kim wrote, "Just did Regis and Kelly! Loving my pale Pink @ZacPosen dress...no time to change, back to the Today Show w Kathie Lee and Hoda!"
The previous evening, Kim and Kourt dropped by the Late Show with David Letterman before stepping out with their men for a post-appearance dinner date.

Ms. Kardashian arrived in New York City early this morning to begin her press duties ahead of the show?s premiere this Sunday, January 23rd.
