These are some photos from a few days ago of Miley Cyrus in attendance at the music video shoot for Lil’ Kim and Tiffany Foxx’s “Twisted.” I’ve got no idea whether or not Miley was dressed to appear in the video or if she just chose this wacky, jailbird-esque outfit of her own volition. I’m just happy that her butt cheeks aren’t hanging out this time.
Now onto the topic de jour, which is Miley’s hair, which still defies reason, but she apparently likes it a lot. So much so that she never wants to ever grow her hair out again, which I guess is a good idea for the simple fact that a very short crop like Miley’s would be terribly awkward to grow out at all. Here are Miley’s thoughts on the topic:
RIP Miley Cyrus’ topknot, forever and ever, amen.
The So Undercover star told E! News she does not miss her long locks “in any way” and will forever be a short-haired lady.
“I feel like I had bun every day of my life,” the 20-year-old singer-actress said. “I hated the extensions hair–that’s sewn into your head. It’s creepy.”

“You will never see me with long hair again!” the blond beauty proclaimed. “My fianc [Liam Hemsworth] loves it…It’s so easy and [I] don’t need to wash it. It looks better grungy and not washing it.”
But Miley has bigger things to think about than her hair, y’all! She’s planning a wedding and working on her new album.
Miley fans take over newsstands

Miley does make sense here, and I can understand why she’d be tired of all the “Hannah Montana” hair that she maintained throughout her Disney run. To Miley, short hair represents adulthood and making her own way, and I agree with her that sewn-in extensions are creepy. That bit about her not hardly washing her new ‘do is pretty gross though. I’m guessing that she’s not even a fan of dry shampoo from the way she describes her “grungy” new hair habits. Gross.

Now this is exactly what I was talking about the other day: the more skin Miley Cyrus shows, the less I mind her dumb new haircut. And considering I can see a whole lot of leg (and maybe even a bit more) in these pictures thanks to Miley’s seriously short shorts, I’ve got absolutely nothing

It kills me a little bit to see Miley Cyrus so invested in the ?90s Grunge Revival. First of all, it makes me feel so old! I was around for the original Grunge Aesthetic, and while I sometimes look wistfully at flannel shirts, I?m not eager to see that look come back. I don?t even know where I put my old Doc Martens!! Anyway, these are some new pics of Miley in Studio City yesterday. Fame/Flynet says she was leaving a friend?s house, and from the look of the photo set, she decided to laugh and talk to the paparazzo who was pap-stalking her.
If you take away the Docs, you know what this outfit reminds me of? Rachel Green in the first two seasons of Friends. Wasn?t this the look? High-waisted shorts/pants (which were almost always super-unflattering) plus a floral belly-shirt, plus a haircut you were trying to grow out. If she had ?The Rachel? instead of a fauxhawk, she would be Rachel Green circa 1995. But taken with the white-blonde fauxhawk and the Docs? she?s still very mid-1990s. She could be going to a Pearl Jam concert. Or Soundgarden. Or Mother Love Bone. Yes, I listened to the Singles soundtrack endlessly. Something tells me Miley still listens to it. (PS? the Singles soundtrack holds up, by the way! Go back and listen to it ?you?ll enjoy it!)
As for the high-waisted booty shorts? my problem is that Miley works so, so hard on that cute little figure, and it?s like she?s absolutely clueless as to what will flatter her amazing body. These shorts are a total disaster. I can?t.

Smiling for awaiting paparazzi, Miley Cyrus shot a music video with Lil' Kim and Tiffany Foxx in the Hollywood Hills on Saturday (February 2).
The "Party in the U.S.A." singer rocked a black leather jacket, midriff-baring black tank top, and high-waisted black and white striped pants as she flashed some hand tattoos on the set for "Twisted."
On Friday, the 20-year-old songstress hit the studio to work on some new tunes. Stoked for the chance to express her creativity, she tweeted a photo of herself wearing the same striped pants and black beanie with the caption, "STUSTUSTUDIO."
In March's issue of Cosmopolitan, Miley admitted, "There's so much hype behind my new record, but it could come out and, worst-case scenario, everyone f--king hates it."

She?s been missing from the pop music scene since releasing Can?t Be Tamed back in 2010, and Miley Cyrus is poised to make a big return.
The ?Party in the USA? songstress recently signed a new record deal with RCA Records and she?ll release a brand new album in the coming months.
Miley gushed, "I wrote this song with Mary J. Blige, and Tyler, the Creator heard it and said, 'I am obsessed with this song, and I will guest on it if you promise me that you will keep it on the album.' And he killed it! I really didn't want to make a hip-hop record, and I'm not trying at all to be a Rihanna or a Nicki [Minaj]....That's not my vibe."
"When I was growing up, my older brother would sneak me Nelly CDs, my dad had me listening to Dolly [Parton] and Johnny [Cash], and my mom is a complete metal head. So this record is a weird mixture of all that."
As for her post-teenie bopper career, Cyrus explained, "I've never gotten to make a record like this because Disney's always been on my back saying, 'You've got to promote the TV show in two months, so make sure your record's done...and when you promote your record, can you promote the show, the movie and the Hannah Montana record?' I was basically carrying two people's careers and trying to make mine the priority. Now, it's almost like being a new artist and trying to make a first impression. I think the best thing I could have done was take those two years off to really live, because now people don't think of me as who I was on the TV show."

Appearing in a great mood for photographers, Miley Cyrus
visited a friend in Studio City, California on Wednesday (January 30).
The "Party in the U.S.A." singer rocked a midriff-baring black top, leather jacket, and black pants as she gave a thumbs up to shutterbugs.
Recently, the 20-year-old songstress lashed out at the paparazzi while one tried to snap shots of her and fiance Liam Hemsworth as they walked their three dogs.
On Tuesday, Miley posted a video complaining about the harassment and the photog's parking in a handicapped parking space. She says in the video, "[HE] doesn't look very handicapped to me, yet if I park in a handicapped spot because of these people I get reported on the news. But no one cares about this criminal that's running through a children's neighborhood, driving outrageously while I'm with my three dogs."

I?ll admit it ? I?m jealous of Miley Cyrus. She?s cute, she?s got a great figure, she?s rich, she?s really young, and her fianc is HOT. She could spend her days going to Pilates classes and bangin? her hot man, keeping everything low-key, but she doesn?t. And that?s what makes me not so jealous of her. She?s chosen to try to re-boot her music career, and she continues to score movie and television roles too, plus? she kind of annoys me when she opens her mouth. I get it, she?s still growing up and developing, and I give her credit for maturing a great deal over the past few years in particular. But a little bit more ?mystique? wouldn?t kill her, you know? Miley covers the new issue of Cosmopolitan UK, for no other reason than to promote herself ? I guess she has the So Undercover DVD coming out (but she gets a mag cover for a DVD release?) and she?s ?working? on a new album ? God knows when it will be released. And in the interview, she talks about everything, from Liam Hemsworth to whether or not she fakes ?anything?.
The happiest part of her life: “Number one is my relationship with Liam. That’s what I feel the most confident in because you never know. There’s so much hype behind my new record, but it could come out and, worst-case scenario, everyone [expletive] hates it.?
She thinks Liam is super-hot: “I’ll literally look at him and be like ‘You are hot, dear god!’ The other day, I turned on the pool heater and it was steaming, and he walked outside and took off his clothes and jumped in the pool. I was like, ?I’m gonna faint–the hottest guy of my life is in a steaming pool. This looks like a Playgirl shoot.? So I took a photo and made it the background on my phone. My best friend grabbed my phone and was like, ‘Who’s that? He is so hot!’ That’s my hubby!?
Her transition from child star to adult star: “Some of the worst things that have happened in my career, like things getting leaked, have actually been what’s best for me, because people knew when I was on [Hannah Montana] that I was really growing up. I never faked anything. I never played the Disney game of smiling and being a princess and then suddenly having a hard time, saying, ?That isn’t who I really am.??
The pop star world: ?Katy Perry’s been my friend for f***ing five years, and I’m not ever gonna let our work get between that relationship,. If Katy sticks with being Katy, and Ke$ha is Ke$ha, and Rihanna is Rihanna, and I’m me, there’s room for everybody. The problem is when people look at Gaga and say, “Oh, that works; I’m going to be like that.”?

As for Miley?s re-boot of her musical career? well, you know the last time she had an album, she did seem to be trying to do the Gaga-lite thing, because SO MANY artists were trying to do that a few years ago too. Miley was trying to be so dark and sexualized and stuff. It didn?t really work, and I?m worried that she still hasn?t found her ?pop star identity?. I?m worried that she?s trying to be Pink now. Right?

Immersing her newest family member into the life of a musician, Miley Cyrus took her pooch, Bean, to the studio in Burbank, CA on Friday (January 4).
The 20-year-old songstress looked effortlessly cool in black skinny jeans and a "Homies"-embellished sweatshirt as she toted in her pint-size companion.
While in the recording session, Miley made sure to show off her pup posting a picture of her little one napping on her chest to her Twitter page with a caption reading, "Bean loves chillin in the studio :) thank god for @SpotRescueDogs."
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Cyrus unveiled her latest friend yesterday and has since been blowing up her social media page with snapshots, as she tweeted, "Unfollow me if you don't want 100000 photos of Bean."
