She’s always up to something interesting, and yesterday (December 28) Sarah Silverman was spotted flying high in Los Angeles.
The “Sarah Silverman Program” chick performed some serious stunts while filming a video for a new comedy song she’s written.

Sarah Silverman is over longtime boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel - at least, she’s moved on, anyway. The comedian is now dating another fellow stand-up performer named Rob Huebel - and he’s quite the hottie as far as comedians go. Sources say the couple are getting serious and Sarah is falling pretty hard for him. Does this mean she’s done f-ing Matt Damon?
Sorry, Jimmy Kimmel! The chat show host’s on-again, off-again girlfriend has a new guy, fellow comedian Rob Huebel, 40.
“Rob feels like he won the lottery,” says a source. “He thinks Sarah’s incredibly funny and gorgeous, too.”
The old pals have been a couple since shortly after Sarah, 38, ended it with Jimmy in the spring. Still, “I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob proposed soon,” the source confides.

Sarah definitely has a thing for funny guys. Before her relationship with Jimmy Kimmel, she also dated Colin Quinn and Dave Attell. Recent reports after Jimmy and Sarah’s first breakup painted Sarah as sad, and hoping for a reconciliation, but the second breakup seemed to be initiated by her and so far, it seems to be for good. Maybe her new man is a reason why. You might recognize Rob Huebel from his appearances on the MTV sketch comedy show “Human Giant,” which was something of an underground cult favorite. He’s also made appearances on “Reno 911!” “The Office,” and he played the host of the game show “MILF Island” in an episode of Tina Fey’s “30 Rock.”

Just days after Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman confirmed their breakup, Jimmy poked fun at himself while dressed like Rosie O’Donnell on a segment of “The View.” Jimmy fielded questions about the breakup from the co-hosts and tried to keep the mood light. But you can tell by his body language that it’s an uncomfortable topic for him. Or maybe he’s just uncomfortable with the leggings, clogs and black wig.
Jimmy Kimmel showed up on “The View” Monday, dressed in drag as former co-host Rosie O’Donnell, and fielded questions about his recent, second break up with longtime girlfriend Sarah Silverman.
“The View” is in Los Angeles this week, and Kimmel walked about in a wig, clogs and wedding ring for his two-segment appearance.
Sherri Shepherd told Kimmel they feared he would no-show when news broke of his split.
Kimmel said, “The only thing better than breaking up is going on ‘The View’ right after you break up.”
Asked what happened, Kimmel said, “What do you think happened? I’m a 41-year-old man with a bra filled with Koosh balls. I’m an imbecile. She couldn’t date an imbecile anymore.”
Walters then pressed him if it’s really all over, to which he sputtered, “I don’t know, I mean, you know, I think, I don’t know. Ask her. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

I actually think Kimmel is more attractive than the actual Rosie - he definitely has better hair! It had to be tough to sit there and take these questions about something so personal, but to Jimmy’s credit, he did so with a smile. I am one of those people who hopes Jimmy and Sarah get back together - but if they keep getting together and breaking up, there has to be a reason.

Late Night host Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have broken up for the second time. The two split last July only to get back together a few months later. Now it looks like the relationship is over for good or until they realize no one else can stand their jokes which, by my estimate, will happen in six months.

Yesterday we had a really sweet story about how Jimmy Kimmel?s kids wanted him to get married to Sarah Silverman. It sounds like both his son and daughter have a real fondness for Sarah. Unfortunately they?re not going to get their wish ? in a big way. Us Weekly has confirmed that the couple have broken up again, and it seems like this one is permanent.
Late night host Jimmy Kimmel and comic Sarah Silverman have called it quits again, a source tells Usmagazine.com. The couple, who have been dating on-and-off for the last few months, started dating six years ago. ?Sarah initiated the split this time,? the source tells Us. “He’s bummed.”
This breakup happened within the last two weeks. “He’s really blue — very down,” another source tells Us. “Seems like it’s over for good this time. He’s sad because he just bought a new place and now has nobody to share it with.”
The couple, who first split in July, reunited last fall. ?We?re just being right now,? Silverman told Us in November.
The pair met during a roast for Hugh Hefner, where Silverman told the audience he was fat and joked he had no charisma — but that didn’t stop them from working together.
“He hired me to do voices on [Comedy Central's] Crank Yankers and around the second season of that we started hanging out,” Silverman has said. “A while after that he kissed me.”

This is a big bummer. Sarah and Jimmy just made so much sense together. Clearly their relationship had a lot of laughter and good stuff in it. I mean their running joke about fucking Matt Damon became so epic outside their relationship that it actually won an Emmy. It just always struck me as a relationship that?d be fun to be in, but obviously there?s a lot more to it than that. It?s especially sad for Jimmy?s kids. His teenage son Kevin talked about a wedding, and supposedly told him to ?put a ring on it.? It seemed like they needed to know Sarah and Jimmy were solid and wouldn?t break up again. Unfortunately that?s exactly what happened.

While comedian Sarah Silverman has said that she is in no rush to walk down the aisle, the children of her boyfriend, Jimmy Kimmel, have their own ideas on the topic. Jimmy’s teenage son from his first marriage has been urging his dad to “put a ring on it” - and even offered to serve as best man at the wedding.
Jimmy Kimmel’s kids are begging their dad to marry Sarah Silverman - and it looks like they will get their wish!
“Jimmy and Sarah’s break from each other last year made them realize how much they love each other,” said a friend of the couple. “Jimmy’s children keep telling him he’d better marry her. They want to know the relationship is permanent and that they aren’t going to lose her again.”
The most recent marriage push came when Jimmy’s teenage son Kevin (he also has a daughter named Katie) dined with the couple at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills on Feb. 21. Jimmy and Sarah kissed repeatedly during the lunch - and his son seemed very happy for them, revealed an eyewitness.
“Jimmy’s kid kept talking about a wedding, and even told his dad that he’d like to be the best man.”

It’s nice that Sarah gets along so well with Jimmy’s kids. I bet she would be a pretty cool stepmom. But from what Sarah has said publicly regarding the subject of marriage, she doesn’t seem too eager to make it official. Maybe that’s changed since the couple has reunited. There were reports that the catalyst for them getting back together after their breakup last year was their friend Howard Stern’s wedding last fall- maybe the nuptials made Sarah change her mind.

| Sarah Silverman's Comedy Central show feels the economic pinch | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Sources at Comedy Central are worried about the future of “The Sarah Silverman Program.” The award-winning show is a victim of the economic slump and is currently on hiatus while the show’s producers- including Sarah Silverman herself - try to figure out how to produce the show on a smaller budget. I guess nobody is safe these days!
The economic downturn is jeopardizing “The Sarah Silverman Program,” one of Comedy Central’s signature series.
The show’s executive producers — Silverman, Dan Sterling and Rob Schrab — have threatened to quit after the cable network told them the budget for their series would be slashed by more than 20%.
More than two months after “Sarah Silverman” ended its second season, the show has yet to be renewed for Season 3. (In 2007, the second-season pickup came 11 days after the series’ premiere.)
At the center of the holdup is the proposed budget for Season 3. Citing cuts imposed on the network by parent company MTV Networks, Comedy Central had proposed that the trio bring back the Writers Guild of America Award-nominated show at about $850,000 an episode, sources said, down from the $1.1 million an episode for the show’s second season.
In broadcast, single-camera comedies are produced for about $1.5 million-$2 million an episode, and the budget for any series normally climbs from year to year.
“Sarah Silverman” is a single-camera comedy that also features animated sequences and musical numbers.
The contracting ad market is hitting networks hard. MTV Networks’ parent Viacom in December laid off 7% of its work force, though Comedy Central largely was spared because it had been through the ringer following the 2003 acquisition of Time Warner’s 50% ownership in the network and had little left to cut.
Amid the economic woes, ABC Studios and 20th TV asked all of their showrunners to cut 2% of their series budgets.
Concerned they won’t be able to maintain the integrity of the show at the discounted price, Silverman, on behalf of the three executive producers, informed the network late last week that they can’t proceed with a third season. The move reportedly sent shock waves through Comedy Central’s executive offices, with top brass jumping into action to find a budget compromise that would keep the flagship live-action series on the air.
As of Friday night, the situation remained at a standstill. Both sides continued their back-and-forth during the weekend.
A resolution is expected as early as Monday, and people familiar with the situation were optimistic that the two sides would agree on financial terms to bring back the show.

I’m not surprised that some shows are being scaled back due to slow ad sales. But what does surprise me is that this show is being singled out as an expensive program. One million bucks per episode sounds like a lot of money - and it is - but when you put it into the context of network television, it’s not. NBC spent one million per episode of “Friends” just to pay Jennifer Aniston’s salary! Comedy Central is notoriously cheap - Jon Stewart loves to poke fun at the network on that very topic. Can’t Sarah’s network TV star boyfriend, Jimmy Kimmel, help her out here?
