She?s well-known for her impeccable style, however Rihanna met with opposition to her fur-loving ways while launching her new perfume RiRi in Brooklyn, New York on Monday (August 31).
The ?B*tch Better Have My Money? songstress showed up at Macy?s and began greeting fans when a swarm of anti-fur activists appeared and interrupted the festivities.
Protesters held up signs that read ?Who Died For Your Coat?? and ?Skinned Alive,? while shouting, ?Shame on Rihanna.? Thankfully, Macy?s security and Rihanna?s bodyguards got the situation under control before things got too out-of-hand.

This is the strangest story, but NBA player Matt Barnes seriously overstepped and strongly implied that he was dating Rihanna. Barnes used to play basketball for the LA Clippers, but now he’s with the Memphis Grizzlies. Like many red-blooded males, he has a crush on Rih. Dude pulled a major creeper move, however, talking with TMZ about Rihanna. Speaking to the camera, Barnes called “the stories about him going on dates with Rihanna” mere “gossip,” but he says sure, he could see things turning into a full-fledged relationship. According to Barnes, they’re friends with serious romantic potential.
Never mind that Rihanna is currently dating Lewis Hamilton. Barnes is convinced Rihanna will use her “jet” to fly and see him in Memphis. Mysterious sources told TMZ that Rih went on a few dates with Barnes. Except, nope. Rihanna screencapped Barnes’ nonsense interview and called him out on Instagram:

Kicking off her weekend a bit early, Rihanna showed up in Manhattan?s trendy SoHo district on Thursday night (July 16) with a few friends.
The ?B*tch Better Have My Money? songstress garnered plenty of attention in her white floor-length dress with floral prints and metallic heels as she scurried inside the popular eatery The Mercer Kitchen.

Showing some love to her Japanese fans, Rihanna showed up at the National Art Center in Tokyo on Tuesday (June 16) for the Christian Dior TOKYO Autumn/Winter 2015-16 Ready-to-Wear show.
Joined by Dior CEO Sydney Toledano, the ?We Found Love? singer was all done up in a denim minidress with floral appliques, lace-up jacquard ankle boots and a snazzy handbag as she posed for photos.
Ri-Ri told WWD, ?I love Japanese style. I love the way they put it all together, [their use of] innovation, quality and excellence.? And when asked about her post-show plans, she replied,
?I want to go, not really window shopping, but I want to go around and check out the beauty products, the packaging?I want to see all of it.?

Treating herself to a late night bite to eat, Rihanna showedup at Coppella Restaurant in Manhattan?s SoHo neighborhood last night (June 1).
The ?Umbrella? singer wore black sunglasses with a matching black leather jacket and distressed jeans as she strolled up the sidewalk while ignoring the paparazzi.
Ri-Ri is featured in the new Dior ?Secret Garden? ad campaign, a gig she relishes greatly- ?It feels fantastic. It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any color.
I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just, it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless.?

Rihanna launched a dozen memes last night with her (always) fashionably late arrival at the Met Gala. This massive gown, from Chinese designer Guo Pei, required three people to carry up the stairs. People have compared it to Belle from Beauty and the Beast and an extra-large pizza. Rihanna’s been really big on ginormous statement dresses lately, and I love that she hasn’t let her Dior contract tie her down at every event. With that said, this is one heck of a dress. The bright-yellow color, the endless folds of fabric, the unending train — it’s all perfect for this year’s Met Gala theme. Rihanna knows people watch what she wears, and she worked this opportunity well. She styled the dress well with a statement necklace, an ornate gold headpiece, and an offbeat, flipped hairdo.

Rita Ora wore Tom Ford because of course she did. Rita occupies the same spot on Tom’s arm that Rihanna used to enjoy, and I think Rih’s fine with it. She’s moved on. This lush red dress is surprisingly low-key for such a big event. The fabric is gorgeous, and Tom’s people did a good job on tailoring. The collar is a little bit Dracula, but Rita pulls it off.
Selena Gomez wore a custom Vera Wang gown with tassel detail. It looked elegant from the back. The front view looks awkward because the belly cutout is unnecessary.

Lots of little Rihanna stories are floating around. I never got around to posting her fabulous Coachella attire a week ago. Rihanna’s lipstick shade is called Purple Haze by the Free Spirit brand (owned by Rih’s pal Leandra), and it sold out instantly after Rihanna pushed it on Instagram. There’s also a new video of Rihanna raiding convenience store shelves with the munchies. The vid surfaced on 4/20 for a reason, but it could also be a nod to her recent drug video. One of Rihanna’s assistants, Jenn Rosales, got married on 4/20. Rihanna was a bridemaid (you can see photos here). She also Instagrammed a video to send a special message to the newlyweds. Here’s the video’s caption:

I had to look up the slang definition of “Jhat,”, which means “best man who ever lived.” Rihanna is happy for her friend, and she wants Jenn to take her husband’s last name. It sounds like an inside joke too, like they’ve been talking about how Davis isn’t as flourish-y as Rosales. Taking a man’s last name after marriage is more traditional, but many couples still prefer having the same surname. I think it’s also cool when a dude takes a woman’s last name, like Jack White did with Meg. Whatever works for a couple, you know? The topic remains a subject of much debate. Now we know that Rihanna Fenty will some day be Rihanna Not-Dicaprio.
