Rihanna covers the November issue of Glamour with a total poker face. This has been RiRi’s standard expression ever since the VMAs where she looked profoundly unimpressed with Miley Cyrus’ attention-seeking antics. Glamour hasn’t released any excerpts or the editorial yet, but they’ll probably surface soon enough. The “learning to be fearless again” headline sounds promising for an interview. This cover is rather different than what we’ve come to expect from Rihanna, who loves a good weave but has been going with a more natural curl lately.
The last time I covered Rihanna, a lot of you were surprised I didn’t mention her latest Twitter feud. I had missed the festivities because Rihanna had already deleted those tweets. Tweeting and deleting is so Kanye West, right? Thankfully Us Weekly has the scoop on Rihanna’s mean girling of Teyana Taylor:
And the claws come out! On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Rihanna got into her latest Twitter tussle, this time with up-and-coming singer Teyana Taylor. The war of words escalated quickly after Taylor, 22, posted a video of herself covering Anita Baker’s “Caught Up in the Rapture.”
Moments later, Rihanna tweeted an Instagram video of her hairstylist Yusef with a wig, snapback and sneakers (in an obvious jab at Taylor’s style), singing the exact same song. An irate Taylor then took the pair’s beef public in a series of since-deleted angry tweets.
“Don’t play wit me Rihanna,” she warned. “F–k all this industry s–t, YOU & I know each other VERY well. Throwing subs 4 wat? U got my #, don’t show off.”
Before the “Diamonds” singer could even respond, however, her legions of fans jumped to her defense, calling Taylor out for what they deemed a major offense.
Taylor held her own, however, tweeting that “y’all could bully everybody else & get away wit that sh-t but that sh-t ain’t one work ova here. so y’all could miss me with that NAVY sh-t.”
When Rihanna finally did reply, she was no less apologetic, telling Taylor (and her more than 31 million followers) that she “refuses” to help the other singer’s career.
“You will NOT get an @ from me! Not till you pay me!” she wrote, using the hashtags “no more free promo” and “I refuse.”
The pair pulled no punches in the conflict, with Rihanna first changing her Twitter background to the website Celebrity Net Worth, which noted Taylor’s assets at $500,000 versus Rihanna’s at $90 million. Taylor responded with her own background change, to a poorly photoshopped image of her as a boxer laying into Rihanna.
Both singers have since returned their Twitter pages to their regular settings and deleted the vast majority of the feuding tweets, though Rihanna still has a few errant tweets left over from the online shouting match.

“I hate broke bitches.” How classy. I’m sure Rihanna was sitting around and acting like a square and not smoking a bowl while acting like an a-hole to a fellow singer and budding pop star. Comparing one’s own monetary worth to another’s is probably really hilarious when you’re baked. LOL. Why does Rihanna lower herself to such rude tactics? This isn’t going to help her keep fans any more than showing up four hours late to concerts will do. Rihanna might be riding high (har har) now, but we’ll see how she fares in a decade if she keeps this behavior going.

It?s no secret that Rihanna usually keeps pretty crazy hours, but she insists the whole party scene is getting played out.
During her chat with Alan Carr on ?Chatty Man,? the ?Umbrella? singer states that she?s almost done living the wild life.
?Recently I?ve become a square. I hate partying. I don?t know if it?s my heels ? I don?t like standing up in my heels for hours. I don?t know if it?s that, but I?ve been so bored of it.?
Ri-Ri adds, ?I don?t know if it?s because it?s the same music every night ? maybe we need some more DJs. I am such a bootleg rock star. I do nothing, literally. I?m embarrassed to say that actually. That?s so disgusting. That?s f**king pathetic.?

I honestly don’t know what’s going on with Rihanna. These are photos of RiRi looking pained while performing at a Sunday post-Grand Prix concert in Singapore. She’s wearing an oversized t-shirt that may or may not be themed for the race. Whatever the case, it’s not a flattering look, but Rihanna hasn’t been much for flashing the flesh lately. I definitely noticed last month when she started dressing down and stopped begging for attention. One of the comments to said post joked how Miley Cyrus might have scared the pants back onto RiRi. It’s possible.
Anyway, Rihanna was slammed for forgetting words to her own songs in Singapore where she seemed “high.” (Higher than usual?) She’s in Australia right now where she earned terrible reviews for her Wednesday show. Supposedly RiRi acted “disinterested,” slurred her words, and ignored her own singles in favor of “that reggae sh-t.” All of which made for an unimpressed and “bored” audience. These reports come on the heels of RiRi’s gross tweets about going out to an adult club in Phucket where strippers shot darts out their hoo-has.
Rihanna is set to appear on the 100th episode of Alan Carr’s crazy-ass Chatty Man show (Channel 4 in the UK). Maybe she pre-taped the episode since she’s on tour. RiRi claims to be done with the party scene. She also says she doesn’t get laid. Hmm:
She’s tired of clubbing & partying: “Recently I’ve become a square. I hate partying. I don’t know if it’s my heels — I don’t like standing up in my heels for hours. I don’t know if it’s that, but I’ve been so bored of it. I don?t know if it’s because it’s the same music every night — maybe we need some more DJs.”
Never say never: “I love what I do and I’ve got a lot to celebrate. So you’ll catch me celebrating every once in a while, because I work hard.”
She’s not getting any action these days: “I am such a bootleg rock star, I do nothing, literally. ‘?m embarrassed to say that actually. That’s so disgusting. That’s f—ing pathetic. I tell you, I?m a bit of a square recently. Don’t feel bad for me, I’m good.”

What I'm gathering from these quotes is RiRi basically sits around hotel rooms and gets baked. More baked than usual if her shows are any indication. I guess this is preferable to landing in the hospital after the Met Gala. It's also been about a year since she trashed a nightclub and pulled the "Don't you know who I am?" card. I guess baked Rihanna seems preferable to drunk RiRi.
As for Rihanna's claims of never getting any action, that's probably true while she's on tour. I never know whether Rihanna is off or on with Drake. She was rumored to have been dating A$AP Rocky (and kisses him in his new video), but who knows.

The 11-minute film is presented by Budweiser and contains footage from Ri-Ri?s world tour as well as plenty of coverage of her loyal fans.
"Everything that I have acquired, everything that I have accomplished, I really owe it my fans. It's really them that made that happen. They mean a lot to me. My fans, they mean everything to me,? gushes the ?Umbrella? songstress.

Continuing to promote her new line of River Island clothing, Rihanna returned to her hotel in London on Wednesday (September 11).
The "We Found Love" singer rocked a black and white checkerboard jacket, black leather pants, and white heels as she proudly brought her mullet back indoors.
Though her focus may be on fashion for this trip, the 25-year-old songstress took time out to collaborate on a new tune.
On Wednesday, Ri-Ri tweeted, "Just left the studio... Recorded a #monster hook for one of my favorite artists! And that's all I can give you..."

She has been enjoying some downtime from her grueling world tour recently, after wrapping the European leg last month. She’s due back on the road on 13 September, when she’ll kick off the next round of concerts in Macau.

The "We Found Love" singer sported a black hoodie, long black skirt, and black knit beanie as she headed back to her vehicle post meal.
Excitedly sharing her plans with her Twitter followers, the 25-year-old songstress tweeted, "Dinner wit de top shotta Miss Monica Fenty, baby bro @RjFenty15 and my cuzzo TeeJay!! #caribbeanting #familyisyouronlyforever."

Winding down from her Diamonds world tour, Rihanna headed out and about in New York City on Wednesday (August 14).
The "We Found Love" singer wore jeans and a camo tee and a gold backwards cap as she made her way through throngs of awaiting fans.
In addition to her music career, the 25-year-old songstress has her hand in fashion, designing her River Island collection.
This fall, her new line will be released and the ads show a "New York street vibe" and will go on sale in stores and online on September 12th.
