Here is Maria Sharapova visiting the Los Angeles store of the upscale ice-cream brand and introduced the exclusive topping from the Sugarpova table for Pinkberry in front of a select group of children who were invited for the event.
Pinkberry CEO said: ?Maria is a big fan of Pinkberry, and Pinkberry is a big fan of Maria. I think we share similar values in terms of quality and consumer delight. If you know anything about her and her candy line, it?s very fun and tasty and distinctive. Those are the kind of offerings we have at Pinkberry.?

Taking a little break from her tennis activities for the day, Maria Sharapova made her way over to Pinkberry to launch her new Sugarpova Toppings in LA today (February 27).
Looking fantastic in the ice cream store, the 26-year-old blondie sported a sequined tan top with a cream-colored skirt and a pair of cute designer heels, posing with a group of children as they made their way in.
Excited for the event, the professional tennis babe posted a picture of herself completing her workout for the day, captioning it, "The real work just finished... Time to get ready for@Pinkberry launch. #sugarpova."
Later, as she greeted her stylists, Maria included another picture of herself getting gussied up for the event, writing, "Being silly. Getting ready for @pinkberry Sugarpova launch @hairbyadir."

Tennis star Maria Sharapova will be temporarily changing her name to Maria Sugarpova for next week’s US Open in New York in order to promote her candy brand she launched last year.
Sharapova has asked Florida authorities about the name change and, if allowed, will go by Sugarpova for the entire two-week tournament and then go back to Sharapova when it’s finished.
That’s some excellent corporate whoring. She should also line her pockets with candy and whenever she wins a set, throw it into the crowd like a sugar fairy while shouting “Diabetes for you, diabetes for you, diabetes for EVERYONE!”

Enjoying a special evening off the courts, Maria Sharapova headed to the 2013 ESPY Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Wednesday (July 16).
Sports fans should keep an eye out for their favorite star as Gabby Douglas, Joe Flacco, Colin Kaepernick, Ray Lewis, Michael Phelps, Hope Solo, DeSean Jackson, and many others are scheduled to attend.
Voted on by the public, the 21st annual awards will honor Best MLB Player, Best WNBA Player, Best Team, and Best Female Athlete, Best Comeback, and Best Breakthrough Athlete. Stay linked to GossipCenter to see who comes out on top.
At the ceremony, the father/son team of Dick and Rick Hoyt will be honored with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award. The duo have run over 1,000 endurance events with Dick pushing his son, who has cerebral palsy, in a custom running wheelchair.

Last week was terrible for Serena Williams. Serena had given an interview to Rolling Stone a few months ago, and when the most controversial parts were released last week, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) went HARD on Selena. To be fair to everyone, Serena?s comments about the Steubenville rape victim were callous, offensive, ignorant and ridiculous. And Serena made the mistake of offering a blas non-apology, half-denying that she ever said anything bad ? except that Rolling Stone has the tapes, and she actually said that junk.
Lost in the controversy was a particularly bitchy aside about an unnamed female tennis player that many assumed was Maria Sharapova. Serena said, ?There are people who live, breathe and dress tennis. I mean seriously, give it a rest? She begins every interview with ?I?m so happy. I?m so lucky??it?s so boring. She?s still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it.? Many believed the reference is to Maria?s current boyfriend, Grigor Dimitrov, who used to date Serena.
Anyway, Serena and Maria are both at Wimbledon this week, and both are doing press. And it?s getting bitchy and shady in here! Let?s start with Serena, who told the press assembled at Wimbledon: “It definitely hasn’t been easy. And I feel like I really wanted to say: I apologize for everything that was said in that article.” Serena also said that at a pre-Wimbledon event, she approached Maria and apologized personally to her, face-to-face. Serena claimed Maria had accepted her apology. Serena said: ?I made it a point to reach out to Maria. … I said, `Look, I want to personally apologize to you if you are offended by being brought into my situation. I want to take this moment to … be open, say I’m very sorry.’”
Except that Maria had her own comments to make during her press conference! When Maria was asked about Serena, Maria said: “If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids.” OMG. PERFECT SHADE. That?s basically like, ?Oh, you want to talk smack about how I can?t get into cool parties? You?re a g?damn homewrecker. I have PROOF.? The no-longer-married dude being referenced is Patrick Mouratoglou? who is no longer with his wife, and he?s with Serena. So? yeah.
Anyway, Serena was approached by journalists following Maria?s perfect shade, and Serena said: “I definitely was told of (Sharapova’s) comments. I definitely like to keep my personal life personal. I think it would be inappropriate for me to comment on it.?

She is the face of Nike, Tag Heuer and whatever tennis tournament she features in, and now she can add sports cars to her list after being unveiled as Porsche’s brand ambassador.
?This is a really special day for me,? Sharapova said in Stuttgart, where she?s defending her title at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix this week (she was given a Porsche 911 last year after winning the title). ?I have had the privilege to be associated with some of the best brands in the world, but now to be partners with Porsche is such an amazing honor.?
