The tabloids have been pushing these kinds of stories about Kaley Cuoco and her husband Ryan Sweeting often enough in the past month. Star, In Touch and now Life & Style have claimed that all is not well in Ryan and Kaley?s newlywed paradise. Who would have thought that a rebound relationship, where the guy moved in within a week and which concluded with a quickie wedding, would be facing any kind of trouble? It?s not like they jumped into this without getting to know each other, right? It?s not like Kaley is going to be making $90 million over the next few years and she didn?t even bother with a prenup for her Tennis K-Fed, right? Why would any of that lead to trouble?
Looks like there’s trouble in paradise for another Hollywood couple. Life & Style has exclusively learned just eight months after tying the knot, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and tennis pro husband Ryan Sweeting are at each other’s throats. ?They get into these knockout, drag-out fights,? says an insider.
In fact, eyewitnesses detail an argument the two got into one on Emmy night at an HBO afterparty. ?They were very angry ? going back and forth at each other,? recalls a fellow reveler who witnessed their argument on Aug. 25. Adds another source at the fete: ?Kaley was shaking her head, turning red. She looked like she was going to cry.?
“Kaley ? who’d been drinking ros ? whispered ‘Please don?t leave me’ to Ryan, then got up to go to the bathroom,? the first partygoer relates. ?After she walked away, Ryan put his finger to his head and pretended to shoot himself. Twice.?

Damn, that?s? wow. You know it?s bad when a couple fights like that in public, at an industry party. So, who are we blaming? I think there?s enough blame to go around. Both of them should have known better ? these are not impulsive teenagers, you know? Kaley is 28 and Ryan is 27. I understand getting swept up in a new relationship in the beginning, but every single person thought rushing into marriage was a bad idea.

I saw some photos of Kaley Cuoco at one of the pre-Emmy events, and I didn?t even recognize her because she had plastered down her hair with gel and bobby pins. It was a strangely good look for her. Much better than what happened at the Emmys. I think we can safely say that the haircut was a bad idea and no amount of ?trims? will fix it. She really shouldn?t have cut it any shorter than shoulder-length, I think.
Anyway, Kaley was there with her husband Ryan Sweeting. There?s a tabloid rumor going around that Kaley wants to do a post-nup to protect her substantial assets if and when this marriage goes into the toilet. Is that what her face is saying to you? Is that her ?Ruh-roh, what if he walks away with $40 million?? face? As for the dress? it?s Monique Lhuillier. I?m not into it but I don?t hate it.
Mayim Bialik in Oliver Tolentino. This looks like the kind of dress Laura Bush or Hillary Clinton would wear. So matronly.
Julianne Hough was trying to attempt some high-fashion origami style with this Dsquared gown and it failed miserably. So now she just looked pregnant in a weird dress.

Wow, Kaley Cuoco?s haircut doesn?t look bad here at all. It actually looks cute on the September cover of Women?s Health. Too bad Kaley doesn?t know how to style her new hair for everyday wear. Anyway, Kaley covers this issue because (I?m assuming) she?s promoting the new season of The Big Bang Theory, which is going to net her $90 million over the next three years. Shill, Kaley! Shill for that money. Hell, if they were paying $90K, I would shill that crap all over town. Some highlights from Kaley?s interview:
Her new hair: “I was swishing my hair to the left so much, I was like, ‘Do I look like Justin Bieber?!’ [But] I feel liberated. It’s like I needed to find myself again.”
The new season of Big Bang: “I have no idea what they are doing with Big Bang this season. We are going into season 8 which is amazing. If you told me that 8 years ago I would be like, ‘Ha ha, OK’….I hope next season we engage wedding stuff, I would love that. If I had to guess Leonard is more of a planner than Penny, which is funny. I feel so lucky we are going to be on much longer.”
She?s interested in any kind of project, TV or film: “I will take any role anyone will hire me on. I am doing a tiny movie in July before I go back to work which is much darker for me. I play a drug addict and I am actually kind of excited about it, I’ve never been able to do anything like that. I think people probably didn’t think that I could. So I am excited to do that side of things.”
She loves the idea of being typecast: “I was telling someone last night, people always say, ?Oh my god, you’re going to be typecast’ and if I really was typecast as Penny or the girl next store it would be the greatest thing in the world, then I have a job forever playing that. That is kind of how I look at it, if this is what I do forever fine, but I’ll try and do as many things as possible and experience the whole world of acting, as silly as that sounds, but I love all aspects of it but comedy is definitely number one.”
Being married: “The best part [of marriage] is that you always have your buddy with you. He is always there; my friend is always with me. I have someone to eat with, to talk to, to have a drink with, to cry with to be anything I need to be, he will always going to be there and the same for him.”
She has changed her name to Cuoco-Sweeting: “I am lucky because it happens to be a great last name. I love being married, we are so happy. It was the greatest day of my life, it happened fast but it was perfect for us and we could not be happier. I say the word husband all the time when it is unnecessary…I love it I feel totally at home we are so happy.”
She wants to get pregnant: “I can’t wait, he can’t wait. I feel like I’m meant to be a mom.”

There?s a strong dose of Jennifer Aniston here (and there are some very logical parallels to be drawn), but I also think she?s making an effort to learn from some of Aniston?s TV Girl mistakes. Aniston couldn?t wait to use Friends as a launching pad to film stardom, so much so that Aniston initially fought to break out of the ?Rachel Green? typecasting. Kaley wants to assure everyone that she?s fine with being typecast. She?s happy playing the bubbly blonde in comedies. Maybe Kaley is just paying lip-service to that, but I think she?s trying to be a bit more savvy about her career. Kaley isn?t trying to win an Oscar, you know? It?s all about setting reasonable goals. Some people really would rather have $90 million in the bank rather than have to ugly it up for an Oscar.
Oh, and if she gets pregnant quickly? well, that will be interesting. She just negotiated a huge contract and I really hope her lawyers included lots of provisions for what the show will do if and when she gets knocked up. Plus, if she does have a baby? well, she?ll only be more famous then. That?s how it works these days.

The era of huge paychecks for network TV actors is kind of over. The most famous people on the most respected TV shows these days are the actors working on cable shows (Mad Men, Breaking Bad) or premium cable shows (Game of Thrones, Masters of Sex) and they really aren?t making the BIG money. Don?t get me wrong, I?m sure Jon Hamm picks up a nice paycheck for Mad Men, but he?s not making Friends-type money. If you?re involved with network TV these days and you?re making millions, you?re probably a Jerry Bruckheimer-type producer or you?re part of one of the singing competition shows. Actors just aren?t making that much on network these days. But the cast of The Big Bang Theory will beg to differ. They?ve been renegotiating their contracts for months now, and yesterday, the three leads got some great news:
CBS? The Big Bang Theory is a big step closer to making the new Aug. 6 production start date for Season 8 ? I?ve learned that stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco have agreed to new three-year contracts. The deals for Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco came after marathon negotiations between Big Bang producer Warner Bros TV and reps for the actors over the weekend, with Parsons? pact closing first on Sunday, followed by the Galecki and Cuoco under ?most favored nations? terms, ensuring the trio have financial parity with each other. WBTV declined comment and reps for Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco could not be reached for comment, but I hear the trio are in the long-rumored Friends salary territory, scoring paychecks of $1 million per episode for the 72 episodes the show is slated to produce in Seasons 8-10. What?s more, I hear the door has been left open to a potential 11th season.
I also hear that the deals go well beyond per-episode fees and also include larger pieces of the show, signing bonuses, production deals and advances towards the back-end ? perks associated with talent deals on shows as big as Big Bang. In addition to tripling their most recent salaries of $350,000 an episode, I hear Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco also quadrupled their previous ownership on the show, which has gone up from 0.25 to more than a point. I hear Parsons? pact includes a production deal that spans TV and features and possibly theater, with Galecki and Cuoco also getting producing arrangements. Galecki produced a comedy project for WBTV last season, No Place Like Home, which went to pilot at Fox.
All in, I hear Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco are poised to make at least $90 million each over the lives of the deals, with some observers noting that the total could conceivably rise towards $100 million if Big Bang continues to be as strong in syndication and auxiliary markets. With the big payday for Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco and the windfall for top profit participants, WBTV still is expected to clear $1 billion in profits, with some projecting that Big Bang could contribute to Time Warner?s bottom line twice that over its lifespan.

While I don?t watch Big Bang and I have no real interest in most of these people (I have some vague affection for Jim Parsons as a person), I?m kind of happy for them. I?m glad they went the Friends route and Jim, Kaley and Johnny seemed to communicate with each other and negotiate together to get the best deal for everybody. And if they get $90 million (EACH) over the next three years? so be it. I?m happy to see a return to high-paid network talent. But I guess I?m in a minority ? I think it?s better to have a moderately good scripted comedy or drama in primetime rather than another stupid singing/dancing/talent competition show. And hey, if they weren?t getting this money, it would probably just go to Chuck Lorre. Who sucks. Better to give it to Kaley and her Tennis K-Fed.

Here is Kaley Cuoco turning heads when she showed off her toned midriff following a yoga class in Los Angeles.
She is practiced at temperatures above 100 degrees… before heading to her car wearing just a bra-like top and black stretch pants, which showed off her ab fab figure. Her new cropped ‘do looked damp after the workout, and she tossed her rolled up yoga mat into her car before driving off.
She looks great. I don’t love the short hair on her, but it fits her personality and she seems happy with it.
