Ready to get hitched, Kristen Bell and fianc Dax Shepard will reportedly be getting married in Detroit.
The two are both from the Motor City and wanted to have a Motown celebration instead of a Hollywood bash.
“Kristen remembers the wedding receptions she went to as a kid in the old Catholic church social hall,” a source said. “She remembers the wedding receptions she went to as a kid in the old Catholic church social hall. Those were some of the best times of her life.”
And it sounds like the guests are even excited for a new location. Kristen’s “When In Rome” costar Josh Duhamel is particularly pleased with the choice, saying, “I’m from Minot, North Dakota — Detroit would be like Paris to me!”
Recently, the 29-year-old actress spoke about making loved ones her priority in life.
“I think your significant other should be way more important than your work, personally,” she said. “I love working. I don’t know that I’d say I’m a workaholic because I also love maxin’ and relaxin’. I don’t think I’m a workaholic but currently, I feel like I’m at a really lovely place and I’m grateful to be where I am so I like working too, but I know what my priorities are.”

Fresh off of their engagement announcement, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard were spotted side-by-side in Los Angeles, California on Saturday morning (February 6).
The loved up couple enjoyed breakfast with a friend at a local eatery before taking a stroll back to their car hand-in-hand.
With Dax having popped the question over the holidays, insiders tell that a family may be in the near future.
“Kristen is feeling really broody right now,” a source close to the star tells. “She keeps on at Dax about starting a family. They’ve agreed to wait until after they get wed.”

Continuing her string of box-office success, Kristen Bell was spotted at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie “When in Rome” last night (January 27).
The “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” babe looked lovely in a mocha-colored dress with side cut-outs as she hammed it up for the paparazzi outside the El Capitan Theatre.
Also joining Kristen was her costar Josh Duhamel who escorted his lovely wife Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson to the shindig.
“When in Rome” hits theaters tomorrow (Friday, January 29) and centers on a young woman who ends up with several gentleman suitors when she pulls coins from a fountain in Rome, Italy.

Tending to her all-important promotional duties, Kristen Bell was spotted out at “Good Morning America” in Times Square on Monday morning (January 18).
Having flown in on an overnight flight following her Golden Globes appearance, the blonde beauty looked classy as she made her way around the Big Apple streets.
Miss Bell is currently promoting her upcoming movie “When In Rome,” which hits theaters on January 29th.
Co-starring Josh Duhamel, a synopsis of the movie via IMDB tells: “Beth is a young, ambitious New Yorker who is completely unlucky in love. However, on a whirlwind trip to Rome, she impulsively steals some coins from a reputed fountain of love, and is then aggressively pursued by a band of suitors.”

Pairing up for the day’s filming, Cher and Kristen Bell were side-by-side shooting scenes for “Burlesque” in Los Angeles on Friday (January 8).
With both ladies in chipper moods, the “Moonstruck” star gave a warm embrace to her “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” actress co-star while the cameras rolled.
With filming having gotten underway the previous day, “Burlesque” also stars Christina Aguilera, Cam Gigandet, Eric Dane, Peter Gallagher and Julianne Hough.
Due out November 24, 2010, a synopsis of the Steve Antin directed film “Burlesque” tells: “A small-town girl ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer.”

Kristen Bell attended the 2009 American Music Awards over the weekend and the actress looked really good. Oh yes, I think this white dress did Kristen justice! But this is nothing new for Kristen, we’ve kind of come to expect it from her. So, what doescelebrity Kristen Bell do for herself when she’s not working?
“I stay home. I don’t get a ton of time at home. I’m always traveling. I’m such a homebody at heart. I like staying in my pajamas all day. I love cooking. Cooking is very meditative for me and I also find that I feel very empowered when I’m domesticated. I feel very empowered when I’m doing my own laundry and I’m cooking for my household and I’m cleaning and I’m taking care of everything and I’m gardening. That really calms me down and it makes me feel worthy. I enjoy that kind of stuff. I hike with my dogs or walk to a restaurant. They’re things that may seem lame but I really enjoy.”

Malin Akerman is just one of the beautiful actresses in the movie “Couples Retreat,” and her she is arriving at the premiere of the film in Stockholm. I was first planning onseeing this movie only because it cast a man among men, Vince Vaughn. However, I then noticedthat Kristin Davis, Kristen Bell, and Malin Akerman were allin the cast,too. So now this movie is starting to lookbetter and better. Yeah, way better!
Source: How was it working on “Couples Retreat?” I mean Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn together on set, how was that?
Malin: It was amazing. It?s one of those things where I?ve been watching them for many years now and all of a sudden, to be on set with people you idolize, it?s a pretty phenomenal feeling. And to watch them go off, you know they?ve known each other for so long they?re fabulous when they just start riffing off each other, a lot of improv ensues. They?re just hilarious together, and I mean all of them are. Jason Bateman, Faizon Love, they?re all just incredible comedians.
I always think of a coach telling me, I used to be on the track and field team, and he goes. ?Never practice with someone who?s slower than you, always practice with the runners who are quicker because then you?re going to speed up your time.? And that?s sort of how I feel whenever I get the opportunity to work with people who are so immersed it their business and they?ve done it a long time, you learn so much just by watching them.
Source: What was your favorite part to shoot?
Malin: I have to say that my most memorable day was going swimming with the sharks. I think that was pretty spectacular. In one day we went swimming with stingrays and sharks. It was an unforgettable moment and an unforgettable day in my life. I?ll remember it forever.
