Though she lives on a seemingly endless budget, that doesn’t mean that Paris Hilton isn’t just as attracted to a good deal as the rest of us.
All dolled up for the day’s outing, the former “Simple Life” star was spotted shopping for bargains in a closing down sale at a boutique on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood on Wednesday (October 21).
The retail romp comes just a day after it landed herself an appearance in a new movie called “The Other Guys” - which also stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L Jackson and Eva Mendes.
With the Adam McKay directed comedy due out in August 2010, a source tells, “Paris has a cameo role in the movie, where she plays herself. It is all being kept very hush-hush.”

She’s not especially known for her acting prowess, but Paris Hilton has landed a new acting job alongside some pretty big names.
The “Simple Life” babe spent a day last week filming her scenes for her new gig “The Other Guys” in New York City with costars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L Jackson and Eva Mendes.
And it sounds like Miss Hilton was a bit of a prima donna when it came to her specific demands, especially given that she only has a bit part in the movie.
An inside source told press, “Paris has a cameo role in the movie, where she plays herself. It is all being kept very hush-hush. But the producers were shocked when her team handed them a three-page list of demands — including live lobsters to be prepared fresh when she’s ready to eat and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka — all for just one day on the set. All celebrities are typically offered riders, but it seemed excessive for just one day’s work playing herself.”

Sticking to her jet-setting ways, Paris Hilton was spotted arriving back home to Los Angeles, CA last night (October 16).
The 28-year-old socialite looked comfortable in sweats, a black and white striped top, a black zip up, along with a bandana and some big sunglasses to boot.
As previously reported by the Gossip Center, Ms Hilton was in New York City for her appearance on the “Wendy Williams Show” on Friday.
In other news, PETA is still outraged by the fact that Paris has recently purchased a piglet for a pet. PETA says it is a “wretched example of treating animals like they were as disposable as her friends and fiancs.”

Tending to her all-important promotional duties, Paris Hilton was spotted out at the “Wendy Williams Show” in New York City on Friday (October 16).
Clad in an attention-grabbing hot Pink dress, the hotel heiress kindly signed a workman’s helmet as she departed the studio following her guest spot – smiling and posing for pictures along the way.
The sighting comes shortly after Miss Hilton landed herself in hot water with PETA after tweeting about buying a five-week-old miniature pig for $4,500.
In response, PETA spokespeople said that it was a “wretched example of treating animals like they were as disposable as her friends and fiancs.”

Of all the horrible, horrible things about Paris Hilton (and there are many from which to choose) the worst thing about her is her penchant for collecting animals. And I don?t mean she adopts a lot of unwanted dogs from the pound. Paris pays exorbitant amounts of money for trendy novelty pets which she discards as soon as they are no longer new and trendy to her.
There are tons of reports of Paris? animal collecting ? so many in fact that you might logically believe some of them are untrue. And that may be, but the thing is, she really has bought - or tried to buy - so many animals and done so many ridiculous things in regards to her animals, that it?s impossible to tell. And frankly because she is so incredibly stupid and selfish, I tend to assume the stories are true until proven otherwise. Boyfriend Doug Reinhardt bought her a a $10,000 Pomeranian in Japan. She honest for goodness tried to buy a cheetah. She?s owned a kinkajou and a monkey. The monkey was taken away by authorities because it bit her so many times. And she admitted on Ellen DeGeneres? show that she has 17 dogs ? because they keep having babies.
So it comes as absolutely no surprise that three days after the Daily Mail runs a story about the trendy new ?it? pet, micro pigs (somehow the British micro pig is so much cuter a name than the American mini pig), it?s announced that Paris has purchased one of the pigs and will take possession soon. Not surprisingly, PETA has stepped in to chide Paris.
PETA has unleashed a brutal attack against Paris Hilton for buying a pet mini-pig recently, claiming she’s setting a “wretched example” by treating animals like they’re “as disposable as her friends and fiances .”
PETA says of Paris: “The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she’s paraded through her home in the past were not accessories, and pot-bellied pigs aren’t either.”
The good news: Paris told us she doesn’t think she’ll get swine flu because she doesn’t eat pork.

All I can say is, save your breath PETA. I know your heart is in the right place on this one, but Paris is a certifiable sociopath. At least according to the editor of Page Six, who I will forevermore be considered correct in all things, simply for saying this. Paris has been blamed for the epidemic of abandoned Chihuahuas, after she made them the trendy ?it? pet without showing any responsibility towards them. In fact a little over a year ago the Puppy Store on Melrose Avenue refused to sell her a pooch. Yay! All I can say is more animal owners, breeders, and shelters should follow their lead. Animals are living, breathing creatures with a right to be treated decently. They are not a Tiffany bracelet. They poop. The have fur balls. You have to really love the buggers to deal with the bad stuff. Paris? collecting of living creatures is disgusting. I?m sure she?s breaking some kind of city ordinance by now, between all those dogs and God knows what else. I?d be great if some authority would step in.
And just to help her out, I?ll take the micro pig off her hands. I?m currently pet-less, and adore curly tails.

After making the long trip from New York to Los Angeles, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt were spotted arriving at LAX Airport last night (October 9).
The happy couple is coming off a big night out in the Big Apple where they enjoyed dinner together before they made an appearance at the grand opening of Carnival at the Bowlmor Lanes.
Continuing with her leopard print attire theme, last night the heiress was, once again, decked in animal print. After landing in LAX, she headed off to a nightclub for her sister, Nicky’s, birthday bash.
And of course, Paris kept her Twitter followers up to date, tweeting several times throughout the night. One of her tweets saying, “Nicky’s Birthday Party was so much fun tonight. She held it at this new club called “The Tea Room” finally somewhere fun to go to again in LA.”
Just a little while later, she Tweeted, “In bed, going to sleep. Tweet dreams xoxo.”

The “Simple Life” babe and her hunky beau strolled around Manhattan hand-in-hand as they made their way to a gourmet dinner at an exclusive restaurant.
And both Paris and Doug looked very into each other as they waded through a sea of paparazzi, both dressed in snazzy attire.
Paris was also spotted making an appearance at the grand opening of Carnival at the Bowlmor Lanes, posing in the arrivals area before heading inside.

Fresh off of a cross-country flight, Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt were spotted arriving at JFK Airport in Queens on Thursday afternoon (October 8).
The former “Simple Life” star and her hunky beau lovingly held hands as they made their way through the terminal and out to an awaiting car.
Meanwhile, Miss Hilton recently chatted with press about her upcoming appearance on “Supernatural,” telling, “I’ve always thought the show was very interesting and had a great theme and idea behind it. I think fans will be very surprised by what I do on the show. It’s very different than any character that I have played before.”
The hotel heiress adds, “I play a goddess who takes on the form of different celebrities so she can eat their fans,” reveals Paris. “The character shape-shifts, starting off as James Dean, then Abraham Lincoln, then Gandhi, and then me.”
Paris’ Supernatural cameo airs on Thursday at 8PM ET on The CW.
