Tom Cruise and Ana De Armas started hanging out constantly at the start of the year. They were papped a lot in London, and at first we were told that Tom and Ana are merely working together and they were just spending time together as friends and colleagues. Months went by and they continued to pop up everywhere together. Ana even took Tom to her Vermont estate, which seemed to be the larger signal that they were really dating. As this gossip storyline went along, I actually got the sense that Ana was pursuing Tom, that she was trying to make this happen. I wondered how Tom would react to that longterm, because he hasn?t wanted to get involved with a big, public romance since Katie Holmes divorced him. All of his relationships post-Katie have been significantly quieter and less pap-friendly. Well, now they?re saying that Ana and Tom are done. Interesting.
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has split from his actress girlfriend Ana De Armas after less than nine months together. The Mission: Impossible actor, 63, was first linked to the Cuban-born beauty, 37, in February and they went public with their romance in the spring. But The Sun can exclusively reveal they recently decided to call time on their relationship, after realising they are better off as friends.
A source close to the pair said: ?Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course. They are going to remain good friends but they aren?t dating anymore. They just realised they weren?t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates. The spark had gone between them but they still love each other?s company and they?ve both been really adult about it. She?s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.?
They are due to star together in supernatural thriller Deeper, and were seen in London rehearsing for their roles. But the film has reportedly been put on hold. The Sun told earlier this year how they are also planning on working with each other on a movie with the working title Pressure.
[From The Sun]
My controversial take is that Ana needs to stop dating costars or potential costars! She should have learned that lesson with Ben Affleck! God that was a mess. This thing with Tom would have been even messier because of Scientology and she should count her blessings that she got out when she did. Again, though, I feel like Ana was the one pushing to date Tom, and I get the sense that Tom is the one saying ?actually, I can?t do this.?

| Virginia Guiffre: Prince Andrew 'believed having sex with me was his birthright' | Added 37 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Virginia Giuffre?s book, Nobody?s Girl, is now being widely excerpted in British and American media outlets. I was worried that powerful people would be able to bury Virginia?s posthumously-published memoir, but it?s really going out into the world. The Times of London ran an excerpt of what Virginia wrote specifically about Prince Andrew. Virginia met him and was trafficked to him when she was 17 years old. Something I forgot or didn?t know? The infamous photo of Virginia, Andrew and Ghislaine (seen above) was taken BY Jeffrey Epstein. And the photo was requested by Virginia, and it was taken on her camera. Here?s more of what Virginia wrote about Andrew:
Giuffre recalls how excited she had been when Ghislaine Maxwell, who was jailed for trafficking young girls to Jeffrey Epstein, told her she would be dining that evening with Andrew. She describes feeling ?like Cinderella? about to meet a ?handsome prince?.
When Andrew arrived at Maxwell?s London townhouse they played ?a game? that Maxwell enjoyed, Giuffre claimed; asking guests to guess Giuffre?s age. Giuffre alleged that Andrew ?guessed correctly? and remarked: ?My daughters [Eugenie and Beatrice] are just a little younger than you.? She claimed she slept with the duke that night, which he has denied.
Reflecting on the encounter, Giuffre wrote: ?In the years since, I?ve thought a lot about how he behaved. He was friendly enough, but still entitled ? as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.? She said she was paid $15,000 by Epstein for ?servicing the man the tabloids called ?Randy Andy??.
In the book, Giuffre described the first time she said she was introduced to Andrew. On March 10, 2001, she had been staying at Maxwell?s pied--terre ? a white mews house a short walk from Hyde Park. ?Maxwell woke me up that morning by announcing in a singsongy voice: ?Get out of bed, sleepyhead!?? Giuffre wrote. ?It was going to be ?a special day?.?
Giuffre was told she needed to dress smartly. She wrote that Maxwell had picked out an outfit for the evening, a ?sophisticated dress? and a Burberry bag. But Giuffre decided to wear ?a Pink V-necked, sleeveless mini-T-shirt and a sparkly, multicoloured pair of jeans embroidered with a pattern of interlocking horses?, she wrote. ?Maxwell wasn?t thrilled, but like most teenage girls then, I idolised Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, and the third outfit was something I imagined the two of them might wear.?
Andrew was 41 at the time and separated for some years from his wife, Sarah Ferguson, who was last month stripped of her charity positions after damaging emails to Epstein came to light. ?In contrast to his appearance today ? stout, white-haired, and jowly ? Prince Andrew then was still relatively fit, with short-cropped brown hair and youthful eyes,? Giuffre wrote.
?My mom would never forgive me if I met someone as famous as Prince Andrew and didn?t pose for a picture. I ran to get a Kodak FunSaver from my room, then returned and handed it to Epstein. I remember the prince putting his arm around my waist as Maxwell grinned beside me. Epstein snapped the photo.? The resulting photograph of Giuffre standing in between Maxwell and the duke ? his hand clutching Virginia?s bare midriff ? is now infamous.
After dinner, she, Maxwell, Epstein, and Andrew went on to the nightclub Tramp. Giuffre described Andrew as ?a bumbling dancer? ? ?I remember he sweated profusely,? she wrote. ?On the way back, Maxwell told me, ?When we get home, you are to do for him what you do for Jeffrey?,? Giuffre wrote.
She took the duke upstairs and ran a bath. ?We disrobed and got in the tub, but didn?t stay there long because the prince was eager to get to the bed. He was particularly attentive to my feet, caressing my toes and licking my arches, ? she alleged in the book.
Giuffre?s second meeting with Andrew was at Epstein?s Manhattan mansion. She wrote in her memoir that Epstein and Maxwell presented Andrew with a caricature puppet of himself from the satirical Eighties? television show Spitting Image and that he used the puppet to touch her and another woman ? Johanna Sjoberg ? inappropriately.
The third incident took place on Epstein?s private island Little Saint James. She does not go into much detail beyond what she testified to in a sworn deposition as part of a civil suit in 2015.
?Epstein, Andy, and approximately eight other young girls, and I had sex together,? she wrote. ?The other girls all appeared to be under the age of 18 and didn?t really speak English. Epstein laughed about how they couldn?t really communicate, saying they are the easiest girls to get along with.?
She alleged she was trafficked to ?more men than I can put into words?, yet very few have faced any consequences. ?The way [Epstein] viewed women and girls ? as playthings to be used and discarded ? is not uncommon among certain powerful men who believe they are above the law. And many of those men are still going about their daily lives, enjoying the benefits of their power.?
[From The Times]
My stomach turned at ?My daughters [Eugenie and Beatrice] are just a little younger than you.? He knew how young Virginia was and he still wanted this trafficked 17-year-old. What?s also striking to me is that Maxwell and Epstein had such a well-oiled trafficking machine. We knew that, of course, but Virginia?s personal story shows how often Maxwell and Epstein did this, often enough to set a pattern, often enough to know what ?worked? to convince teenage girls to let down their guard.

| The palace thinks Prince Harry is 'a greater priority' than punishing Prince Andrew | Added 37 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Since 2019, whenever there are particularly awful stories about Prince Andrew in the news, the British press and the palace all deflect to attacking the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. That?s one of the reasons why the British press has been churning through so many negative and false stories about the Sussexes this month Andrew and Fergie have been in the news for their lies about cutting off contact with Jeffrey Epstein. Last weekend, we learned that Andrew sent this message to Epstein in February 2011: ?I?m just as concerned for you! Don?t worry about me! It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it. Otherwise keep in close touch and we?ll play some more soon!!!!? This has not only inspired another round of palace-sanctioned Sussex attacks, it?s inspired another round of palace dithering about ?what to do about Andrew.? Palace sources swear up and down that they?ve punished Andrew thoroughly and there?s nothing else they can take away from him. Well, the Times of London has a lengthy piece in which ?palace sources? are still dithering and throwing out ideas for what they could possibly do about Andrew. Buried in the piece is a bizarre mention of Prince Harry. That?s being done on purpose, to act as if Harry and Andrew are equal. Some highlights:
Andrew?s 2011 email to Epstein: For the Palace there is no mistaking the fact that the email represents a seismic shift, one which moves the dial from Andrew?s long-held position of deniability, however implausible, to apparent evidence of a lie. Because it proves that, contrary to his previous protestations, he was still in touch with Epstein after he apparently broke off their friendship. Without action, doesn?t the Palace risk being seen to simply grin and bear it? ?We?re certainly not grinning and we?re not bearing it,? says a Palace source. ?We?re taking the fundamental issues extremely seriously. It is very much not the case that the Palace is turning a blind eye or a deaf ear to it all. We are taking every fresh allegation extremely seriously and reviewing the potential options for further censure, while being aware that significant steps that can be taken have largely been enacted.?
Camilla is worried: The palace source added, ?It is a source of immense frustration and concern that there continue to be holes picked in the duke?s story. And there is understandable anxiety that it will impact on the royal family?s wider reputation and public work, not least, of course, the Queen?s notable leadership in campaigning against all forms of sexual abuse.?
Andrew?s titles: So what?s to be done? Today Andrew retains his title of Duke of York and that of prince. Both are difficult to remove given that to do so would require intervention from parliament. Some commentators have described it as a real crisis for the monarchy, while for others it merely confirms their already rock-bottom opinion of the duke. A YouGov poll over the summer, before the latest revelations, showed that 67 per cent of the public would back the idea of removing Andrew?s dukedom. While it has been done before, notably in the First World War to sanction titled aristocrats fighting for the German army, extinguishing a dukedom would require a legal mechanism. ?And even if you did strip Andrew of being a duke,? notes a well-placed source, ?he?d still be known as a prince, which sounds better anyway.?
Counsellor of state: Yet Andrew does still hold one constitutional role: that of counsellor of state. These are members of the royal family who might be called upon to deputise for the King if he is overseas or unwell by carrying out his official duties. Two are required to act in consort in the monarch?s absence. Typically these are the monarch?s consort and the next four in line to the throne over the age of 21. That includes the Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Sussex, Andrew and Princess Beatrice. ?In a sense the opportunity was missed in the 2022 amendment to remove the Duke of York,? says Craig Prescott, a constitutional law specialist. ?What they did instead was to all intents and purposes make it a legal dead letter by saying that he and Harry would never be called upon to act.?
Andrew?s money: A source said: ?For Andrew the punishment seems to be the life he?s living as he has had everything apart from Royal Lodge taken away from him.? Even the money: Andrew?s private allowance from the King was removed last year when Charles pulled the plug. And he hasn?t received any public money since he ceased his official duties six years ago. How he is funding his lifestyle at Royal Lodge, a year on, is said to be a mystery to Charles. Andrew has given verbal assurances to the Keeper of the Privy Purse that he can afford the upkeep but it?s unclear quite how. Any suggestion, I?m told, that Andrew still has a treasure trove left over from the last Queen and the Queen Mother is ?wide of the mark?.
The Harry Problem: There is also the Harry problem, the second ?Duke of Hazard?, as he is known in Palace circles. A source said: ?Harry is a greater priority. The whole thing feels off.? Any afterglow from a recent reunion between father and son was quickly scuppered by briefings from Montecito, Harry?s new home in California, saying that the ?men in grey suits? at the Palace were trying to ?sabotage? his relationship with his father by leaking details of the meeting. Harry has written to the new home secretary to ask for a risk assessment as he keeps his battle for UK security alive. In other words, it rumbles on. The Andrew problem is closer to home and more pressing. One source familiar with his situation described him as a ?narcissist? who ?cleaves? to Royal Lodge, the last sign of his royal status. A decision to remain at the 42-room palatial home is, they say, ?illogical? and ?financially ruinous? as the long-term lease with the Crown Estate requires him to maintain upkeep on the property.
[From The Times]
The thing is, I actually agree that the Sussexes are doing more ?damage? to the monarchy than Prince Andrew. As much as palace sources want to make it sound like Andrew and Harry are in similar predicaments, the larger issue is that Andrew is for all intents and purposes a family member in ?good standing.? He?s still being protected, coddled and cared for by the institution, and they?re bending over backwards to ensure that he?s not punished any further. Compare that to how the Sussexes have been treated for merely moving out of the UK, buying a home in California and developing their own above-board income streams. The Sussexit did more damage to the monarchy?s image than Andrew has done, and that?s because of the palace courtiers and the monarch. Over the past six years, there?s a stark difference in how Andrew is coddled versus the sadistic punishments doled out to the Sussexes. People can see it for themselves, and the British public should wonder why the palace can?t stop tripping over their dks when it comes to Andrew.

| Kim Kardashian: Kanye gave away our five Lambos during a manic episode | Added 37 hours ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kim Kardashian appeared on this week?s episode of Call Her Daddy. This was Kim?s first time on this particular pod, although Khloe appeared on CHD earlier this year. I?m realizing just now, as I?m writing this, that it?s been a few years (maybe longer) since Kim gave an in-depth interview about her life and her divorce from Kanye. I actually don?t remember Kim ever talking about Kanye and their marriage in this way Kim goes into Kanye?s bipolar disorder and how she really believed she could stick with him, but in the end, she needed to get out for her own health and well-being. Some highlights from the interview:
Her life after divorcing Kanye: I do have a problem of only remembering the good. Im a really forgiving person, but I really havent dated like that to, like, have those kinds of toxic relationships since Ive been divorced. She added that with age has come more of a level head in relationships, explaining, I think when you get older, you just dont tolerate that s. You dont have time.
The dissolution of her marriage to West: People can say that there was, like, signs and maybe I didnt wasnt paying attention to them. And I think when someone has, like, their first, like, mental break, you know, you wanna be super supportive and you wanna, like, help figure that out and you wanna really get into that with them and and be there for them. She added that West wasnt willing to make changes that she thought would be super healthy and beneficial. It makes it really hard to continue on in a relationship that can be toxic. When you have kids, its definitely harder to leave than it is to stay. And it changes everyones life forever.
She wanted to set a positive example for their kids: Once my mental health starts to get affected and then I cant parent the way that I need to and I cant be present and focused, then theres gotta be one of us that can. And I had to save myself in order to be a better mom for everyone. And I think, like, when everyones older, theyll be able to understand it and see that all.
North is brutal: These days Kardashian said that her eldest daughter, North West, has urged her to find love again, saying, You need to have a boyfriend now she just said to me like the other day, like, Mom, youve got to get remarried. Youre getting too old and no one is gonna deal with this. And I was just like, What? She says it to me all the time.
She doesn?t regret marrying Kanye: An over a decade relationship with four beautiful children is not a failure.?
The breaking point: In terms of a breaking point in her marriage, Kardashian cited the musician publicly speaking out against her mom, Kris Jenner, and her sisters, as well as her lack of safety and Wests erratic financial decisions. Just not feeling safe, you know, not even physically, just like maybe emotionally or even, you know, financially, she explained. I would like come home, and we had like five Lamborghinis and Id come home and theyd all be gone if he was in an episode. And Id be like, Oh, wait. Wheres all our cars? Like, my new car? And it would be like, oh, he gave them away to all of his friends. Ultimately, Kardashian noted, I didnt know what youre gonna get when you wake up, and thats like a really unsettling feeling.
[From People]
Between this and the Kevin Federline stuff, I feel like I?m taking on some unpopular and perhaps even contrarian views this week. But I?ll say it I never blamed Kim for Kanye?s bullsh-t, and I never blamed her for walking away and divorcing him. Kim has done some sh-tty things in her life, but the Kanye situation wasnt her fault whatsoever. Yes, he was in a manic state for the last years of their marriage, but it was also rising to the level of abuse, where Kim didn?t feel safe, where she worried about what she was exposing their children to. I actually thought she handled the divorce really well, like she was giving Kanye the time he needed to understand that she wasn?t going to help him or cover for him anymore. It should have been a wake-up call for him but it wasn?t. As for what North says to her mom? North is so funny, man. North is in essence making the argument of ?You need to get married because you?re getting old and no one will want to deal with your baggage if you?re not young and hot.? That?s wild from a 12-year-old.
