Here is Selena Gomez stunning in red last night when she attended the Spring Breakers LA premiere in a crimson-colored Reem Acra gown. She was joined by her costars James Franco, Ashley Benson, and Vanessa Hudgens, who wore a dramatically feathered Naeem Khan frock to the event. It was a big night for young Hollywood, as other celebrity attendees included Ashley’s Pretty Little Liars costar Shay Mitchell, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, and Vanessa Hudgens’s High School Musical friend Ashley Tisdale.

Well, Spring Breakers finally premiered in LA the other night, and after all the cleavage the girls had on display during their Euro tour, I’m a little disappointed that only Selena Gomez brought any back with her. Then again, it just gives us more time to focus on what an awesome hotness streak Selena’s been

It’s important to end the week off right, so we’ve got even more Selena Gomez goodness for you again today. This time, she’s attending the Alliance for Children’s Rights’ 21st Annual Dinner. And since even I’m not mean enough to make a joke about a kids’ charity, instead I’d like to point out that I’m

They’re not quite as good as the spread we had yesterday, but I’m still digging these pictures of Selena Gomez leaving the recording studio. I’m telling you, breaking it off with Bieber was the best thing that ever happened to her. For us at least. Anyway, I don’t know if she’s ready to start dating

I don’t read Harper’s Bazaar, but I’m going to have to pretend to next time I go to the bookstore, so I can explain why I want to take the Selena Gomez issue into the bathroom. I’m really liking the new, grown-up Selena we’re seeing these days, especially when it means photoshoots like this. If

| Selena Gomez on her youthful baby-face: 'I hate it now, but I?ll love it later' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here is a perfect example of an extremely catchy magazine lede: ?Selena is sitting in a booth at Hooters, reminiscing.? Meaning Selena Gomez and OMG! Anyway, that?s the way Selena?s Harper?s Bazaar cover profile begins, because why not? The Bazaar photoshoot is by Terry Richardson, which is gross because you know Uncle Terry loves how young Selena looks. But even then? once I get past the grossness, this is a decent photoshoot. I know, I hate myself for admitting that. I guess Selena got the cover because she?s promoting her role in Spring Breakers, but I prefer to think of Selena?s recent omnipresence in the media as her revenge against Justin Bieber. People are beginning to realize how awesome she is and more and more people are #TeamSelena. You can read the full Harper?s Bazaar piece here, and here are some highlights.
Her history with Hooters: “My mom and dad had me when they were young? And when I was seven, my dad would go to Hooters to watch Spurs games. But he started noticing that when I would come, with my little pigtails, all the waitresses would be like, ‘Hey!’ So he ended up half spending time with me but with all those cute girls coming over/ And that kind of became our thing.”
Her fanbase of tweens: “I love letting them know how bizarre this world is,” she says, waving her arms around (and presumably referring to Hollywood, not Hooters), “and that our lives are not better than theirs just because we get to be in magazines.”
Her baby face: “I’m getting older, though I don’t look it at all?I hate it now, but I’ll love it later,” she admits, chuckling.
Her off-again thing with Justin Bieber: “It was, but that’s not a factor for me because unfortunately you can’t control that? To me, love is normal. Of course, you see Jay and Beyonc and you’re like, ‘Oh, my gosh, they’re perfect for each other,’ but at the end of the day their love is just like everybody else’s love. They have problems, I’m sure, and they solve them, like anybody else. So to make it as normal as possible?in such an abnormal lifestyle?was super important to both of us. Which was great … ” she trails off. “That’s how it should be.”
The single life: “I don?t get asked out a lot. Well, firstly, I look like this all the time,” she says, showcasing her flannel shirt and chunky knit scarf, which a blob of ketchup has landed on, “and when I actually look presentable, I’m at an awards show. It’s not like I’ve wanted to go out and look for someone. I’m not really good at that.”
She?s a romantic: “I believe in love?yes, I’m one of those girls. Most of my friends believe in love. I went out with Katy Perry last night. She’s so fun and awesome, but it’s cool to see someone older believe in love too. She is all about it, and that’s how I will always be. I believe in stories like, ‘Oh, I met him in Starbucks.’”
Dating someone outside of the industry: “I’ve dated people that are not in the industry, and it does get really hard and stressful. My first boyfriend wasn’t, and it all sort of started happening, so?” she says with a sigh. “I felt bad.”
She protects herself: “It’s hard for me to tell myself to trust people and be open, because I don’t,” she explains. “That’s one of the negative things about this industry, that makes you very scared of everybody and their motives. It’s sad, but that’s how you have to protect yourself.”
She has lots of friends: She values her girlfriends like Taylor Swift, Emma Stone, and old friends from Texas. “It’s good to have both. It’s great to just pick up a phone and call Taylor and say, ‘I have people following me, and I’m having a bad day,’ but if I were to say that to someone else, it’s like, ‘Oh, boo hoo.’ But it’s nice to have people back home that grew up with me too.”
Becoming a Fashion Girl: “If I’m going to the MTV Movie Awards, I’m going to dress a certain way, but if I’m going to the MTV Music Awards, it can be a little more out there. I mean, I’m probably the only one that notices, but,” she says faux dramatically, “there’s two distinct Selenas.” Day to day, though, “I do not give a damn what I look like, I don’t,” she says. “I wish I could pay attention because Gwen Stefani, say, looks flawless.” Gomez is also a fan of Rachel Bilson (“the one person I totally love casually”), Gwyneth Paltrow, and Charlize Theron.” She laughs. “Of course, when I’m on red carpets, I’m nervous, sweaty, and weird.”
She doesn?t understand why she gets attention: “I really don’t understand that at all,” Gomez says of the attention. “That said, I won’t lie to you and say I don’t like to see what people are wearing, like, what are the Olsens wearing? At the same time, I feel bad.”
[From Harper?s Bazaar]
Yeah. She?s not incredibly interesting. But I think that?s a strength too ? she?s not a whiner. She?s not prone to the ?woe is me? thing. I feel like Selena KNOWS her life is mostly great, and that the tradeoff is dealing with the tabloids and stuff, and she?s fine with that. Maybe someday she can sit down with her BFF Taylor Swift and tell Swifty some hard truths about how to do an interview without sounding like a whiny, humorless curmudgeon.

Focusing on creating new music, Selena Gomez went to a recording studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday (March 6).
The "Spring Breakers" star looked cute in a sleeveless black peplum top, black and white patterned pants, and flesh-toned heels as she carried her morning cup o' Joe.
In April, the 20-year-old actress appears on the cover of Harper's Bazaar, where she speaks about relationships after her publicized break-up with Justin Bieber.
A still hopeful Selena says, "To me, love is normal. Of course, you see Jay and Beyonc and you're like, 'Oh, my gosh, they're perfect for each other,' but at the end of the day their love is just like everybody else's love."
However, she's not one to rush into things. Ms. Gomez adds, "It's not like I've wanted to go out and look for someone. I'm not really good at that. I believe in love - yes, I'm one of those girls."

| Selena Gomez on the set of her new music video: gorgeous or poor Biebs? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos of Selena Gomez on the California desert set of her new music video. How amazing does she look in this retro, red-orange swimsuit? The whole package is stunning, really. Selena’s stylists have pulled off the look of a mature young woman instead of a child star playing dress up, and I think that the hair and makeup here finally suits a more grown-up look for her. She’s showing a tiny hint of booty too, and you can see that particular photo here.
Certainly, Justin Bieber will be crying in his Sizzurp after getting a load of these photos. I still can’t believe Selena was ever with him, you know? Kaiser and I both can’t wait for Selena to get with a really awesome guy and leave the Biebs in the dust. But for now, these outfits are enough. Compared to what diaper-laden monstrosities that Justin has been sporting lately, Selena is coming out ahead in a huge way, don’t you think?
This blue dress is another winning combination. While Biebs is showing up two hours late for his concerts, Selena is the portrait of professionalism. I do hope that her new music keeps up with this new vibe so she can make a relatively smooth transition to adult singer. That’s a much better plan than, you know, starring in Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers because Selena can do so much better than a bikini exploitation flick.
I’m not as crazy about this strange cross top or the printed bustier and matching pants below, but Selena is pulling off every one of these outfits.

| Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace at the Vanity Fair party: pretty or fug? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Selena Gomez worked it at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in a very adventurous nude Atelier Versace gown with bustier detail. She’s been attempting to grow up right before our very eyes for a couple of years now, and even though Selena is 20 years old, that baby face will probably haunt her for the rest of her life. When she’s 50, she’ll be able to laugh at all of us with our adult-looking visages, but for now, Selena will suffer the wrath of her own beautiful cherub likeness. Certainly, there are worse things to endure, but I can understand why it must be frustrating to not be able to push past her teenage image.
In very recent days, Selena’s mixed up some grown-up looks with a cute Gucci dress and a sexy Atelier Versace suit, but she doesn’t have as much luck with this dress. For one thing, her rack looks conspiciously larger than usual in those bustier cups. Can I start a rumor about a possible Selena boob job here? Done. Seriously though (and to borrow a term from Kaiser), has Selena invested in some bolt-ons to make herself appear more mature? I couldn’t say for sure, but her girls are suspiciously out there in a big way. Similarly, I also feel like those Lorraine Schwartz earrings are completely out of place, and some silver dangles would have been more appropriate. Her makeup looks good though — she’s so pretty. Obviously, I’m quite distracted by the boob mystery at hand. Witness:
Vanessa Hudgens tried her very hardest to bring it in this shimmering, bronze Moschino gown with Jacob & Co. jewels. I think she succeeds here, don’t you? She’s a very cute girl, and this dress looks great on her figure. Her hair and makeup are both youthful and slightly glamourous, and I think Vanessa is one of the rare people who can get alway with a bold, red lip color. Yes, this is a win for Vanessa! If I were to hit a red carpet, I’d probably wear a dress just like this. Then I’d trip and fall just like JLaw.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend looked adorable together as always. I can’t find a designer ID on this gown anywhere and even trolled through her Twitter page only to find a photo of Sally Field standing on the dress. I tweeted Chrissy for the designer ID; she didn’t tweet me back, but she did follow me. Sadly, she might unfollow me if she ever learns that I don’t understand this gown at all. The black column skirt is sophisticated, but the gold top half is quite perplexing. Clearly, there’s a mesh overlay involved with the illusion effect, but it makes me cross my eyes trying to figure it out. Can I call this a statement dress? Is that allowed? So be it. I love Chrissy, but I’ll freely admit that she has much better taste in food than VF party dresses.
Alessandra Ambrosio wore a really awful gold, sheer gown by Zuhair Murad. There is so much going on here that I don’t see how anyone could point out a good aspect to this dress. It looks like a kaleidoscope threw up all over toilet paper. It’s completely awful, and not even a Victoria’s Secret model can get away with this mess.
