Here is Selena Gomez tooking to the stage on Fox?s X Factor in LA… where the star showed off a sexy new look for her ?Slow Down? performance and she totally owned it.
Selena paired the leather top with a leather fringe BCBG belt that almost made it look like she was wearing a skirt and allowed her to flaunt her long legs.
She’s starting to show her naughty side and I LIKE it…

Showing off her grown and sexy side, Selena Gomez appears in a artsy video from her photoshoot for this month's Flaunt magazine.
Sporting a sassy bob haircut and some slinky lingerie, the 21-year-old singer is shot in black and white as she lounges in bed with a male model and searches for herself out in the city.
Entitled "Searching," the three minute short is directed by Victoria Mahoney and goes hand-in-hand with her photo spread in the magazine.
Check out "Searching" in the video below and catch more of Selena in the November issue of Flaunt magazine.

Selena Gomez poses for the newest edition ofFlaunt in a black wig and lingerie. The photos, shot by Amanda de Cadenet, show Selena sitting in bed in that if-you’re-ready-come-and-get-it attire next to some dude. And I guess this can be considered sexy but there’s still something about her that makes me nervous. Like Chris Hansen is going to pop out of nowhere and ask me to take a seat.

I’ve been waiting for this day. Selena Gomez has been acting way more grown-up lately ever since she broke up with that tiny lesbian, but this is the first time we’re actually seeing her in a real photoshoot, and not one for skate shoes or something. So here’s Selena posing for Flaunt Magazine and doing […]

Now that Selena Gomez had her first grown-up photoshoot, she celebrated by busting out some serious cleavage at the Flaunt Magazine November Issue Party. And in fact, I think these pictures might be even better than the ones that they ran in the magazine. Is it too late to swap them out or shoot a […]

| Selena Gomez: Lorde's dis is 'not feminism, she's not supporting other women' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Selena Gomez covers the December issue of Flaunt magazine. She was snapped by Amanda de Cadenet, which is unexpected. The shoot is sultry and slightly sexy without going full Terry Richardson. Selena has recently spoken of how she’s constantly told she’s not sexy enough. She also insists that she’ll forever be “the girl you take home to your parents, not for the night.” This shoot does make me feel a wee bit uncomfortable. Yes Selena is a 21-year-old woman, but her baby face makes her look 16. The bouncy wig doesn’t help matters, but I’ll get over it. The yellow coat is absolutely fantastic.
The interview is titled, “Escape from Cracker Barrel and the Search for Transcendence,” which alludes to Selena’s belief that she’d be working at Cracker Barrel if she hadn’t made it big. Throwing “search for transcendence” in there makes the piece feel all James Franco, but I’ll blame that on odd writing. Among other topics, Selena discusses how Lorde doesn’t like Selena’s music. Lorde recently stated, “I?m a feminist, and the theme of her song is, ?When you?re ready come and get it from me.? I?m sick of women being portrayed this way.? Let’s do this:
She saw a ghost once: When she was sixteen, the place she lived in had a dollhouse left by the previous owners, well-lit and built on a little hillside. She saw a girl in a white dress running by. It happened fast and she made her stepdad go and look. Later, she and her very first boyfriend were taking a walk around the property and he saw something pass by, out of the corner of his eye, right behind her. “We weren?t allowed to go anywhere because we were kids.” Her boyfriend didn?t believe in ghosts, not at all, but when he told her what he saw, she knew that they were real.
Her conversation with Jared Leto: He asked her why she didn’t show other sides of herself to the public and she returned that there would be nothing left for people she cares about. “There’s nothing left for me, and there’s nothing left for my friends, and there’s nothing left for my family.”
On the future: When I ask her where she?ll be at 26, Selena Gomez says, “I hope that I’ve left a bigger impact.” A ten-year plan? “Oh, God. I don’t know” she says. “I hope that I’m really happy by 30. I’m hoping I’m super satisfied with who I am.”
She’s not perfect: “Obviously I?ve made a lot of mistakes because I?m human and I go through all of it. I do think you do you have to make your own mistakes and they make you who you are.”
On Lorde dissing her: “That’s not feminism. [Lorde is] not supporting other women. That’s my honest opinion, that?s what I would say to her if I saw her. I actually covered her song in all of my shows that I’ve done so far. I?m not sure if I?m going to continue that.”
[From Flaunt]
“Obviously I?ve made a lot of mistakes…” That right there made me think Selena finally and truly regrets dating Justin Bieber for any amount of time. I’ve been worried that she’ll take him back again, but the Brazilian brothel bust must have put a nail in it. I hope.
What Selena says about Lorde’s dis is interesting. On one hand, I get Lorde’s point of view, but “Come and Get It” is such a throwaway, innocuous song that it’s hard to get worked up over it at all. Selena’s response is puzzling because she seems to take the perspective that feminism means every woman should support all other women. As in … feminists aren’t allowed to criticize what any woman says or does, ever. That’s obviously not true, but I can see why she wouldn’t want to cover Lorde’s song ever again.

Selena Gomez showed up at the Flaunt Magazine En Garde Issue launch party in LA looking like a high school goth chick. I’m not sure if she went home afterward and cried in her journal while writing terrible poetry but all signs point to yes.

Selena Gomez is featured in Teen Vogue’s December/January issue. She tells them that she’s not a one night stand, she’s the girl you “take home to your parents.” Booooring.
“You fall in love and it completely consumes you. So a part of you is broken when that?s gone.”
May I remind you she’s talking about Justin Bieber. That breakup should have been a blessing. Wake me up when this chick gets interesting.
“So a part of you is broken when that’s gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you’re just like, forget it-I can do anything I want. I’ve tried it, and I’ve never been that girl. I’m always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night.”
Wait, did she just admit to a one night stand? Alright. Fess up. Which one of you was it? Was it good? Did it end like a one night stand usually does? With you pulling up your pants and apologizing profusely?

Selena Gomez covers the December issue of Teen Vogue in typical Selena fashion. She’s such a babyface, right? I think she’s adorable even though she’s admitted that her ultra-youthful looks can be annoying at times. Selena will appreciate her tendency to look younger than her years when she reaches 30 for sure. That’s when I started looking in the mirror and lamented not seeing a spring chicken any longer. Selena recently admitted she receives a lot of pressure to look sexy, which she has resisted thus far. I think she knows better than to sell herself short just to flash the flesh. Of course there’s nothing wrong with shaking it, but you gotta bring something else to the table. Here are some insights from Selena’s interview:
Possible insight into the Bieber debacle: “You fall in love and it completely consumes you. So a part of you is broken when that’s gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you’re just like, forget it-I can do anything I want. I’ve tried it, and I’ve never been that girl. I’m always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night.”
On de-stressing: “My attention span is all over the place, and I overthink things. I’m an insomniac. Dancing allows me to go away and not have to think of what I’m doing next. That is the opportunity for me to really escape.”
On taking chances like Spring Breakers: “I like to say I have a good sense of judgment, but I know that not everybody does. The older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve learned that I have to open myself up to all opportunities. Maybe I’ll get burned and not meet the right people, but I won’t know until I do it.”
[From Teen Vogue]
Last year Selena admitted that growing up Disney made her “crave” raunchy film projects. Yet even with Spring Breakers, Selena played the relative good girl in a group of wild college girls. I think she’s accepted that she really will always play the good girl, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all. It’s okay to be different than all of the other pop stars and actresses! Selena is so refreshing in that way. There’s quite a niche to be found in being one of the only pop stars out there who isn’t waving her ass cheeks to the world.
Selena is so pretty, but this shoot is so photoshopped. Why???
