Fully immersed in promotional mode, Olivia Wilde was on-hand at NBC Studios in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday night (July 26).
The 27-year-old actress happened to be making an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" to boost interest in her upcoming film "Cowboys & Aliens" - which hits theaters this Friday, July 29th.
With Shaun White also a guest on the late night show, the topic of conversation quickly turned to snowboarding.
Upon taking her seat, Miss Wilde was asked whether she partakes in the adrenaline-packed sport, to which she proudly replied, "I do snowboard!"
Continuing on, Olivia said, "I'm good except getting off of the life. I fall every single time."
Mr White chimed in, "YOu're not the one that takes everyone out with you?"
Shamelessly confessing that she is indeed that person, Wilde answered, "Oh yeah that's me. My family won't go on the lift with me, nor will my friends. So I have to get in the single line and then there's some unsuspecting family that welcomes me onto their chair lift. Then I take them all down... and the people behind us!"
As for Miss Wilde's new movie, "Cowboys & Aliens" co-stars Daniel Craig while telling the story of "a spaceship arriving in Arizona, 1873, to take over the Earth, starting with the Wild West region. Meanwhile, a posse of cowboys are all that stand in their way."

Olivia Wilde’s face looks suspiciously overplumped into Tamara Mellon-esque proportions on the cover of next month’s Marie Claire. Something’s just… off. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Mostly because I can’t get within 500 feet of it. Protective orders have a way of squelching most of my romantic intentions.
Because if you’re going to climb a ladder, you should do it in a price-by-request haute couture gown with a cathedral-length train:

Olivia Wilde is the August cover girl for Marie Claire, likely to promote the same film that Daniel Craig is promoting in Esquire - Cowboys & Aliens. In case you haven?t seen the trailer for it, Olivia plays what I believe is an ?old-timey prostitute? who befriends Daniel Craig?s character. Something like that. So far, no one is really excerpting quotes from the interview, but I?m looking at the scans, so here are a few morsels - I should note that I can?t stand Olivia, out of character, speaking in an interview. She annoys the hell out of me - that being said, I think she looks gorgeous in the photo shoot.
On her divorce: ?The trauma of the whole thing has been humbling, and for the first time, I?m a little bit wobbly. I?m a case of arrested development, in a way - from spending your 20s with someone who really loves to take care of you, as my husband did. But I think it?s very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person.?
More on her post-divorce life: ?I kept saying ?I failed!? Admitting that I?m not perfect was a wonderful thing that came out of this. There?s this fear that everyone is going to be disappointed in you, but I?m human. I don?t live up to any sort of ideal. It makes you a more empathetic person, and I think it?s made me a better actress. Weakness is something we don?t like to admit we have. We hold it against people, until we experience it, and then we feel more compassion for it. David Shore, who created House, said, ?You should get divorced every year; your acting?s never been better!??
Being a romantic: ?In the end, maybe it?s just that I?m a ridiculous romantic. I have very high standards for every part of life - my work, my relationships, food, love. I can?t just pretend. I?m trying to be adult, entering the shark pool of dating, but I?m hopeless at it? I think of myself as being very cool and independent and not jealous, but I like clarity.?

Anyway, what?s new is that Olivia recently had to deny that she was dating Chris Pine, that douche-type that dated Audrina Patridge. Oh, but that?s not all! Marie Claire also claims that Olivia has been rumored to be dating Salman Rushdie. For the love of?

Fitting in a workout after a long holiday weekend, Olivia Wilde was spotted hitting the gym in Studio City, CA on Tuesday (July 5).
The ?Tron: Legacy? star looked a bit exhausted after her sweat session as she headed to her car while rocking a baby tee that read ?Honey Badger Don?t Care.?
Unfortunately for the actress, she spent too much time in the gym - as she found a parking ticket on her vehicle upon her return.
In other news, ever since she parted ways with her now ex-husband, Ms Wilde has been rumored to be dating guys like Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, and Justin Timberlake.
Last week, a celebrity news site claimed Olivia went on a date with actor Chris Pine, but she quickly tweeted the truth, as she wrote, "Strange to hear I was on a date at a restaurant I've never been to. But I trust my doppleganger [sic] had a blast. Hope she doesn't rob any banks."

I?ve actually tried to like Olivia Wilde. I gave her a chance, just because she actually seems to have two brain cells furiously rubbing together, and I like that she doesn?t come across as the standard-issue starlet. I actually kind of like ?Thirteen? on House, but when it comes down to it, Olivia as a person/celebrity is either tedious or outright annoying. First it was the constant references to how she was a princess. Then she dumped her husband for greener pastures, and she?s been ?spending time? with every dude out there who has a persistent gay rumor (Bradley Cooper, Jake Gyllenhaal). And now this interview, in the LA Times Magazine. Ugh. She?s involved in a few charities that are working in Haiti, and to her credit, Olivia has put her time and effort where her mouth is. But unfortunately, her mouth still wants you to give her credit for everything she?s doing and then some, like she?s FHM?s Sexiest Humanitarian. This line alone - ?I was crouched outside this cholera clinic, sitting on a cinder block talking to my agent on the phone? - we get it, Cockburn. Enough.
She’s universally known as a smouldering brunette, but Olivia Wilde has lightened up for a photo shoot with the LA Times. And the effect is amazing, platinum blonde curls completely transform the 27-year-old House star… to almost beyond the point of recognition. But in the interview, the actress reveals that never she’s quite been what she seems, by talking about her relief work in Haiti.
She told the magazine: ‘I was crouched outside this cholera clinic, sitting on a cinder block talking to my agent on the phone. I was about to help hand out rice at a refugee camp and figure out how our students can build more classrooms, so it was hard for me to be on the ball during that call. But I had to remember that acting is actually my job. Whenever I want to say, ?F–k Hollywood,? I have to remember that the reason I am even useful in Haiti is because I have a job here.’
With huge movies Cowboys & Aliens and The Change-Up coming soon, Wilde should be able to make an even bigger difference in Haiti. She tells the interviewer that she researched her character for John Favreau’s blockbuster Cowboys & Aliens, which co-stars Daniel Craig. She plays Ella, a woman who joins Craig’s mysterious gunslinger to fight off terrifying aliens who invade a western town in the 1800s.
‘I was shocked to see there weren?t many strong female characters in western cinema tradition,’ she admitted.
She’s also confirmed that she will stay on for a fifth series of the hit Fox show, alongside Hugh Laurie as the irascible Dr Gregory House.

So, in between movie roles and television work, she manages to find time to do charity work, so good for her. How about name-checking the charity instead of making cholera all about you and your career? You know what would have been even more selfless? If she had turned off her phone while she was working in Haiti. But then she wouldn?t have had a perfect story to tell which illustrated her selflessness.

Clad in a long black skirt and leather jacket, the ?House? beauty headed inside to join up with fellow celebs such as Pierce Brosnan and Ryan Reynolds to watch actor Jeff Bridges perform an hour bluesy set of tunes.
According to on-hand sourced, Wilde and Reynolds - who are on close couple watch these days - were reportedly getting rather cozy in the back corner during Bridges? performance.
Miss Wilde has also been tied to Jake Gyllenhaal and Bradley Cooper since divorcing Tao Ruspoli earlier this year.
