Making friends with his canine costar, George Clooney was spotted filming an Italian television commercial yesterday (May 15).
The ?Ocean?s Eleven? actor and his furry friend hung out and played fetch during breaks on the Malibu, California set.
In career news, Clooney?s 3D sci-fi drama ?Gravity? has been bumped from its November 21st release date to sometime in 2013.
The film, also starring Sandra Bullock, now has no confirmed release date, so stay linked to the GossipCenter for the latest updates.

George Clooney?s got a new bitch and she?s BEAUTIFUL. I was hoping that these photos were candids of Clooney and a new adopted puppy, but they?re just shots of Clooney filming a commercial for Android smart phones, and the beautiful dog is just an ?actor?. Isn?t the puppy gorgeous? I?ve never seen Clooney with a redhead before, and now I can?t help but think? this works. He?s been with exotic, mannish brunettes, he?s done the glorified escort thing, it?s time for a redhead who nuzzles his crotch on a public beach, out in the open. I?m guessing Clooney dismissed the redhead because he doesn?t like his bitches to have successful careers.
According to The Mail, the puppy was smitten with George too, though. The Mail notes: ?Although the dog wasn’t his own pet, it looked like the pair had quickly struck up a rapport. While holding the phone in his hand, Clooney stroked, patted and chatted to his new pal.? Apparently, the puppy even preferred George?s company when the cameras were off too. Maybe the puppy was just smelling George?s dog – he has an overweight puppy named Einstein – Einstein was used during Clooney?s last Oscar campaign, and Einstein fell short, apparently. Maybe Clooney needs a big, beautiful redhead. This dog is like the canine equivalent of Christina Hendricks.

George Clooney hosted a fundraiser for the President of the United States last night. Clooney set the scene in his backyard! Clooney served hawt dergs and Britney came over. NO!! It was actually fancier than I?m making it sound. Clooney set up a special tent and Wolfgang Puck catered and all in all, it was the biggest one-night fundraising event in American history. It was $40,000 a plate, and all of the big Hollywood Democrats were there: Barbra Streisand, Robert Downey, Jr., Salma Hayek, Jack Black, Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Barry Diller, Diane Von Furstenberg, Rob Reiner, J.J. Abrams, Tobey Maguire and the mayor of Los Angeles were just some of the guests. Oh, and Stacy Keibler. Yes, Clooney has not dumped his lady-wrestler. Yet. Stacy was at the event, and Clooney was not ashamed of sharing a little PDA with her:
George Clooney sure knows how to throw a bash fit for the Hollywood — and Washington, D.C. — elite. Hosting a $40,000-a-plate fundraiser for President Barack Obama at his Los Angeles home Thursday, Clooney’s guest of honor spent the evening mingling with the actor and 150 other celebs in an effort to raise funds for his re-election campaign.
Partying in a tent on Clooney’s basketball court, guests including Tobey Maguire, Barbra Streisand, Salma Hayek and Jack Black dined on a menu crafted by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.
Clooney’s Thursday efforts are said to have raised an estimated $15 million for Obama, who also made news this week when publicly supporting the legalization of gay marriage.
“We raised a lot of money because everybody loves George. They like me, they love him. And rightfully so,” Obama, 50, raved of Clooney, 51. During his 19-minute speech, Obama also mentioned how he saw Shepard Fairey’s 2008 “Hope” poster hanging in Clooney’s home and divulged details of its origin. “People don’t realize that the photograph of me is actually me sitting next to George,” Obama said of the photo that was taken when the duo advocated for Darfur together.
“This is the first time that George Clooney has actually been Photoshopped out of a picture. Never happened before, never happen again,” Obama joked.
Though the actor largely catered to President Obama Thursday, he made sure to tend to his girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, frequently during the event.
“They were holding hands and kissing all night, total couple mode,” an attendee tells Us Weekly of the pair of nearly one year.

As you may remember, Stacy was a no-show at the Correspondents Dinner two weekends ago – Stacy had even tweeted about a dress fitting for the event, so she was scheduled to come as George?s date, but then Clooney flew solo in DC and everyone was like ?Oooh, GIRL, you just got Sarah Larson?d!? George told Politico that Stacy didn?t come because she had to ?work?. Cough. So? I?m actually a little bit surprised that Stacy is still around, and that Clooney doesn?t have any problems holding his lady wrestler?s hand in the company of the president.

These are some new photos of George Clooney and Stacy Keibler last night in LA. They went out to dinner with Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. So, what can we determine from these pics? Stacy gets along with George?s BFFs, Cindy and Rande. Stacy and George are still together. George is enough of a gentleman to open Stacy?s car door for her. And Stacy and George still make eye contact, which is a good sign. It?s always a bad sign when George can?t even force himself to make eye contact with one of his pieces. Still, I swear Stacy looks a little bit nervous and scared. Like, ?Will this be the night he tells me to pack my bags? Is this the night where he orders a car service for me and I ask why and he says, ?Baby, you know why??? Poor Stacy.
George and Stacy are due at the White House Correspondents Dinner this weekend, although their invitations are probably a bit tarnished now that every crackhead and famewhore is coming. Of course, what does Stacy care? She doesn?t. While George and the men talk politics, Stacy will be staring off into space, thinking about puppies and butterflies.
As I mentioned in today?s Brangelina post, Star Magazine has a funny fake story about Brad calling up George after he proposed to Angelina, and Brad?s enthusiasm was contagious. So, obviously, George has decided to go twinsies with Brad and George is going to propose to Stacy! The whole piece isn?t worth transcribing, but there are a few highlights I wanted to mention. Apparently, George loves that ?Stacy?s like one of the guys and puts no pressure on him.? So George has decided to propose and he?s already planning yet another ?double wedding? with Brangelina. Obviously, Angelina isn?t happy about this because she kind of hates Stacy and Angelina refuses to get to know any of George?s pieces-of-the-month. Ridiculous.

I should really be following Stacy Keibler on Twitter. It would save me some time, I think. Like, I would have known days ago that Stacy was Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Except that if I hadn?t seen these photos, I would have only believed that Stacy was there with friends, not her boyfriend. But here you go – George Clooney took Stacy down to Cabo yet again. They also spent Thanksgiving and Christmas down there, I believe. It?s noteworthy because it seemed like Stacy and George had been keeping separate schedules after the Oscars, and some of us thought that Clooney and Keibler were about to end their relationship, per their contract. Well? it seems like contract renegotiations went well for Stacy. Another trip to Cabo, with George and his friends – including Rande Gerber and some young dude with a baby.
Just a week earlier, he was sitting in a jail after being arrested while protesting outside the Sudanese embassy in Washington D.C. So no doubt, sunning himself in Mexico with his girlfriend by his side was quite the tonic for George Clooney. Following his high-profile arrest alongside his father Nick, the 50-year-old actor jetted off to his regular haunt in Cabo San Lucas with Stacy Keibler and a few friends.
Looking relaxed in a pair of blue shorts and T-shirt, the Descendants star sipped on a beer as he chatted to his friends. Former wrestler Keiber, 32, looked like she was enjoying the warm weather in a black bikini, ripped denim shorts and her favourite fedora hat. Last week, she uploaded a photo of an idyllic beach on Twitter, gushing: ‘Soaking up the sun in Cabo! What are your favourite beaches?’
She also revealed she had been reading Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games novels. She tweeted: ‘Just read @thehungergames in 2 days. #obsessed.’
Cabo San Lucas is one of Clooney’s favourite holiday destinations, which he has taken a string of previous girlfriends to. In the eight months they’ve been dating, Keibler has already joined Clooney in Cabo three times, making this recent trip her fourth. The actor first took to Cabo last October for her 32nd birthday and they also spent the New Year’s holidays there with his close friends Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber.
Their latest trip follows Clooney’s arrest for civil disobedience after crossing a police line during a protest outside the Sudan embassy on March 16. He was fined $100 after spending a few hours behind bars before being released.

Is it weird to anyone else that Clooney no longer travels to Lake Como with any regularity? Maybe he?ll go this summer – but I don?t think he?s been back since he and Elisabetta Canalis called it quits. Are the memories of Eli?s Adam?s apple just that devastating to poor George? Does he miss Eli? Is he happy with Stacy? Maybe he?ll just stick with Stacy until she messes up – like, she?ll give an interview about how much she wants babies and marriage. And then it will be over.
I?m still dying to know the identity of that dude with the baby. Who brings a baby on vacation with George Clooney?!?!

I was expecting to see the headline ?George Clooney arrested? at some point in my life. But I always thought the headline would involve the words ?prostitute? or ?men?s bathroom? or ?sex game gone awry leading to unfortunate death of a young woman.? Fortunately for all, George Clooney just got arrested for doing something awesome – he was with her father and a group of activists and Congressmen, all protesting outside the Sudanese embassy in Washington.
No, it wasn’t for a movie. Actor George Clooney, long a political activist, was arrested and handcuffed outside the Sudanese embassy in Washington for protesting the country’s blockage of food and aid as well as its treatment of its people.
Clooney’s father, journalist Nick Clooney, 78, was with him and was also arrested, as were Martin Luther King III, NAACP President Ben Jealous, Rep Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) and Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) and former Rep. Tom Andrews (D-Mass.). They were taken away in a police van.
Speaking before the large crowd that gathered to watch the protest, Clooney said the group wanted “the (Sudanese) government in Khartoum to stop randomly killing its own innocent men, women and children. Stop raping them, and stop starving them.”
Because the embassy is private property, Clooney and colleagues knew that refusing to move would end in arrest. They were warned three times before police moved in to make the arrests.
The group held a sign that read “Sudan: Stop Weapons of Mass Starvation,” the Associated Press reported.

An embassy isn?t just ?private property?. An embassy is that country?s sovereign soil. If the Sudanese ambassador (or attach, or whomever) thought Clooney was on Sudanese soil, they could have arrested him and taken him into the embassy. Clooney and his group of do-gooders should be happy that they were taken into custody by the Metro police.
As for what happens next? I doubt Sudan will press charges (do they really want any more bad press?), but if Clooney does face charges, it will probably just be a misdemeanor and he?ll pay a fine or something.

Getting an early start to his day, George Clooney was seen out and about in Washington DC this morning (March 14).
The ?Descendants? stud looked dapper in a dark suit as he prepared to testify before Congress regarding war crimes in Sudan, as well as a meeting with President Barack Obama.
During his recent interview on the ?Today? show, George shared that his post-Oscars trip to Sudan was nothing short of alarming.
"We showed up in one village and there was -- 150 people had come out and were cheering for us to come. Clearly somebody had told them that we were coming. ... And then all of a sudden everyone just started running,? he explained, noting that there were rockets flying overhead and exploding nearby.
"Right now what is going on in the Sudan changes the cost of your gas every single day of your life. If for no other reason than your economic interests, there is plenty of reason to make sure that your government is involved in trying to secure some form of peace."
However, Clooney noted that the ethnic cleansing in Sudan is the real problem. "You feel an enormous, enormous sense of responsibility. We're only successful as a human race by how we look out for the people who can't look out for themselves."

As I was watching the first ten minutes of The Today Show this morning, I was unprepared for the clip of Ann Curry?s interview with George Clooney. I mean, Clooney is just talking about his latest trip to Sudan, and it?s all very serious, but first thing in the morning, all I could think was ?Damn, Clooney looks HOT.? Like, you should watch the video because it?s interesting, but you should also watch it because of the hotness. I?m not all about Clooney?s attractiveness, you know. My mother is – she?s a major Clooney fan-girl. But I never get all hot and bothered for him? until right now. It?s the scruff, right? His hair is grown out, he looks disheveled and it?s hot. And he’s talking about important issues, and he doesn’t sound like an idiot. Which adds to the hotness.

Apparently, Clooney flew to Sudan shortly after the Oscars, which is the same thing he did in 2006, after he won his Oscar. He talks about the people he met, the ethnic cleansing in the villages, and President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir, who has been indicted for war crimes. Clooney is in Washington today (these photos are from Washington) to testify before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about his trip to Sudan; afterward, and then he?s going to meet with Secretary Hillary Clinton and President Obama in the Oval Office. Do you think he?ll shave?

We haven?t heard much about Stacy Keibler since the Oscars. I was thinking about that yesterday, idly wondering how her post-Oscars contract renegotiation was going. If this week?s tabloid stories are any indication, I?d say that Stacy is still hellbent on being George Clooney?s ?Oscar-Date Barbie? for at least another year. While I thought George seemed rather over it at the Oscars, I?ve often been wrong about body-language-reading with George and his ladies. Maybe Stacy will stick around, maybe she won?t. But she probably won?t get many more chances to hang out with Angelina Jolie – more than a month ago, Us Weekly reported that Angelina kind-of hates Stacy. And now Star Mag claims that Stacy kind-of hates Jolie too. If ?hate? means ?is insanely jealous of?.
Brad isn?t the only one who didn?t like Angelina Jolie?s leg-posing: Just ask George Clooney?s flavor of the month, Stacy Keibler.
?She told George that Angelina was hamming it up too much,? says an insider, who reveals that Stacy is ?quite jealous? of Angie.
?She had hoped to be the belle of the ball, but she proved to be pretty uninteresting on the red carpet the minute she left George?s side. Besides, all eyes were on Angelina.?

An insider says Clooney has talked to Stacy Keibler about trying to have a baby as soon as possible. George apparently has had babies on the brain for some time now – and he thinks his 32-year-old girlfriend would make an ideal baby mama.
?Stacy is completely head over heels in love with him, and she knew going into the relationship that he wasn?t likely to marry her,? says a friend. ?But she is really ready to have a child and feels that George would make the perfect father.?
According to another friend, George and Stacy had ?the talk,? where they discussed where they thought the relationship was going and about the idea of having a child out of wedlock.
?George brought it up first, but Stacy thinks it?s a good idea,? the pal says. ?George is constantly telling her how perfect she is for him in every way.?

Yeah, this didn?t happen. I agree with all of you theorize that Clooney had a vasectomy – I think that?s how he?s avoided certain ?accidents? with his often low-class girls. But ?The Talk? was about her contract and whether he could still afford her increased rates.

The gay rumor has followed you for years.
I think it?s funny, but the last thing you?ll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying, ?These are lies!? That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community. I?m not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing. My private life is private, and I?m very happy in it. Who does it hurt if someone thinks I?m gay? I?ll be long dead and there will still be people who say I was gay. I don?t give a shit.
That’s weird. I always thought jumping up and down and vehemently denying something was the way to go when you want to put an end to unfounded rumors. “He’s so adamant,” people would say. “He must be telling the truth.”
