She?s been dating David Katzenberg for the past four years, but now Nicky Hilton is once again a free agent in the dating game.
According to a source, the beautiful businesswoman has chosen to focus on her career rather than pursuing the relationship any farther.
"They broke up quietly after four years together. The main reason was that they have been busy with their work schedules, and it has made it difficult to spend time together."
"Nicky has been back and forth traveling overseas a lot with her business. She has recently been in Asia promoting her jewelry line, and David is starting a new production company. Their schedules never seemed to match."
Meanwhile, Hilton has been spending time with her sister Paris, and they have a trip planned. Nicky explained, "Paris has a house in Malibu, so I've just been spending time relaxing there. Paris and I are going to go to the South of France next week for some business and pleasure."

I always forgot that Nicky Hilton has had a boyfriend for years and years. Honestly, though, I rarely think about Nicky. She?s the quiet Hilton sister, and I want to believe she?s smarter and nicer than Paris Hilton, but who knows? Anyway, Nicky was able to maintain a four-year relationship with David Katzenberg, son of DreamWorks mega-mind Jeffrey Katzenberg (coughcoughMONEYcough). David and Nicky have split up, but there doesn?t seem to be any kind of scandal with cheating or jumpoffs or anything.
Nicky Hilton has quietly split with longtime boyfriend David Katzenberg after four years, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Nicky and David, the son of DreamWorks honcho Jeffrey Katzenberg, have gone their separate ways, despite hopes from her family that the two would eventually tie the knot. Sources tell us the split was amicable and happened after their work pushed them in different directions.
One friend told us, “They broke up quietly after four years together. The main reason was that they have been busy with their work schedules, and it has made it difficult to spend time together. Nicky has been back and forth traveling overseas a lot with her business. She has recently been in Asia promoting her jewelry line, and David is starting a new production company. Their schedules never seemed to match.”
The friend added, “There is no scandal or any third person — they remain close friends, they have been friends since they were teenagers.”
Despite the split, sources say Nicky and David talk regularly and have been tweeting one another.
Jeffrey, a creator of MTV series “The Hard Times of RJ Berger,” has set up KatzSmith Productions with Seth Grahame-Smith. He recently told Collider that the two are working on another MTV-scripted comedy and “trying to cross over into feature-land.?
“Right now, we’re just getting off the ground,” he said. “We have a comedy spec that we’re going out with soon. Seth is working on his next book. There’s a lot of stuff in the air right now, so we’ll see how things land and where they fall.”
Reps for Hilton and Katzenberg declined to comment.

Do believe that two hard-working, professional people can just split up because of schedules? Sure, I do. I?m not sure if that?s really what happened here, but who knows. I tend to think that the Katzenberg family probably wasn?t thrilled with the idea of David marrying anyone named ?Hilton? but if David and Nicki have been friends for forever, maybe that didn?t matter. Still, I tend to think that they probably broke up because they just got to the point where they were either going to get married or end it all, and Nicky wanted to marry (or her parents wanted her to marry) and David?s family was all ?Hell to the NO.?

Soaking up the Hawaiian sun, Nicky Hilton was ever the splendid sight while on the beaches of Maui in these just released bikini pictures.
The paparazzi caught up to the hotel heiress last week on Friday (December 24) as she relaxed oceanside and showed off her killer bikini body.
Ms Hilton spent the week in the islands with her boyfriend, David Katzenberg, along with sister Paris and her beau, Cy Waits, and the girls? parents, Rick and Kathy.
Being the loyal tweeter she is, Paris wrote on her wall, ?Just had a nice walk on the beach with my parents and Cy. I love that they love him as much as I do. Such a nice feeling. :)?

Taking full advantage of the gorgeous weather, Paris and Nicky Hilton were spotted out on Wailea Beach in Maui, Hawaii yesterday (December 23).
The heiress sisters both displayed their fabulous bikini bodies as they splashed in the ocean and sunned themselves in the sand.
Of course, Paris and Nicky were accompanied by their gentleman callers Cy Waits and David Katzenberg, respectively.
Later in the evening, Paris tweeted, ?Swimming in the ocean was so nice and peaceful till a huge wave knocked me under the water. So scary. :( I'm safely on shore now. :) ha,? followed by ?Just got back from an amazing day at the beach! Love being in the ocean. Time to relax. :)?

Enjoying the warm and sunny weather in Miami, Florida, Nicky Hilton was spotted poolside with a friend on Thursday (December 2).
The hotel heiress looked to be having a blissful time as she relaxed while soaking up some rays and munching on an order of yummy french fries.
In other news, Ms Hilton recently launched her very own jewelry line which is now available on endless.com and amazon.com.
Of her new venture, Nicky revealed, ?Jewelry is something I've always wanted to do. After designing clothing and handbags jewelry just seemed like the next step.?
As for the moderately price pieces, she adds, ?I think it would be silly for me to launch a fine jewelry line in this economy. Maybe down the road but not right now.?

Pushing forth with their holiday celebratory agenda, Paris and Nicky Hilton turned up at the Playboy Mansion for their annual Halloween party on Saturday night (October 30).
With Paris choosing to wear a sexy indian girl outfit and Nicky looking cute in a Superwoman costume, the hotel heiress sisters joined pal Brandon Davis who sported a wacky wig and an orange jumpsuit.
Almost losing her headdress and top during the course of the night, an excited Paris tweeted to her many fans and followers, "Just went into The Haunted House at The Playboy Mansion. So scary and fun!!!"
Making for quite the busy weekend, the former "Simple Life" star spent the previous night hosting her own costume party with guests including her parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, as well as boyfriend Cy Waits, Adrien Brody, Kim Porter and Perla Ferrar.

Venturing out for a sisterly evening on the town, Paris and Nicky Hilton were side-by-side at the 32nd Anniversary Carousel of Hope Gala in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday (October 23).
Taking place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the former "Simple Life" star was decked out in a Pink Chagoury Couture gown as she joined her designer sis at the biennial charity fete.
Tweeting as she headed to the family-owned Carousel of Hope venue, Paris wrote, "On my way to the Carousel Ball. I feel like Cinderella in my Pink Chagoury Couture gown and beautiful Chopard diamonds. Loves it :)"
During the festivities, Miss Hilton enthusiastically tweeted about Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony's stage efforts, writing, "Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony just performed at the event. J Lo looked amazing as usual, she is absolutely stunning! Love her!"
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the Carousel of Hope Gala is held every other year while benefiting the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.

Showing some love to the less fortunate, Paris and Nicky Hilton were spotted at the Union Rescue Mission Shelter in Los Angeles yesterday (October 20).
The ?Simple Life? actress and her designer sister helped serve shepherd?s pie to a bunch of needy kids as part of their volunteer program.
And it sounds like Paris genuinely enjoyed taking time out of her crazy schedule to make a difference.
Hilton tweeted, "Spent all day with the kids downtown at The Rescue Mission Shelter. We had had such a great time."

Meeting up for a dinner on the town, Paris and Nicky Hilton were both spotted arriving at Cleo restaurant in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night (October 15).
Both clad in cute black frocks, the hotel heiress sisters met up with Paris's beau Cy Waits - who snuck in the back door to avoid the awaiting paparazzi flashes.
Earlier in the week, Paris and Cy gave up their precious time to help those in need - as they shopped for gifts, candy and pumpkins for the Rescue Mission Shelter in LA.
Tweeting of the good-hearted deed, Miss Hilton wrote, ?Just got home. Had a great day today. Cy and I went to the pumpkin patch to buy a bunch of pumpkins. Also some tools to carve and paint them and lots of candy and toys.?
The 29-year-old added, ?Brought everything down to the children at The Rescue Mission Shelter. They were all so excited and grateful. It?s such an amazing feeling to make a child smile and be happy.?
