Summer movie season is around the corner, and ?Bloodworth? has just released a new trailer, a month ahead of its May 20th release date.
The southern-fried film features stars like Hilary Duff, Val Kilmer, and Kris Kristofferson, who plays the lead character E.F. Bloodworth.
Set in Tennessee, ?Bloodworth? is about a man who returns to his small-town roots after roaming the country for forty years.
And he comes back to a family that has been dealing with the consequences of his abandonment, though Bloodworth?s grandson seems to have more hope than the others.

Taking some time out to support a gal pal, Stacy ?Fergie? Ferguson and Hilary Duff stepped out to celebrate Kimberly Snyder's "The Beauty Detox Solution" book launch at The London Hotel in West Hollywood last night (April 13).
The Black Eyed Peas songstress and the "Beauty & the Briefcase" babe both looked stunning as they glammed it up for the L.A. nutritionist's event at the swanky west coast locale.
Later in the evening, Hilary opened up to Hollyscoop about her upcoming summer plans with hubby Mike Comrie, revealing, "[His team] just made the playoffs, so this season is going to be a little bit longer this year. I'm really looking forward to spending the summer together."
As for any immediate baby plans for the newlyweds, Duff explained, "We are really excited for that, but want to wait a little bit. We got married last summer and we've been a apart all year. It'd be nice to have one last summer that I get to have fun and not do anything."

Stepping out for a Sunday social hour, Hilary Duff was spotted arriving at a friend?s house in Toluca Lake, CA yesterday (April 3).
The ?Beauty and the Briefcase? babe looked cute and casual in leggings and a long sweater as she hopped out of her vehicle and was greeted by a pint-sized pup.
Looking ahead to the summer months, Duff recently changed up her darker locks and went back to being a blonde once again.
Colorist Tracy Cunningham told press, ?She wanted a change for the summertime season. She loved being a brunette as well. She's one of those lucky people who can wear any color with her skin tone, but she felt like a change."

Making the most of her evening, Hilary Duff was spotted at the red carpet premiere of ?Soul Surfer? in Hollywood last night (March 30).
The ?War, Inc.? actress schmoozed with fellow guests and hammed it up for the cameras in a black top with a Pink and purple striped skirt.
In order to look her best, Hilary paid a visit to the Neil George Salon for a hair color and cut appointment earlier in the day.
?Soul Surfer? hits theaters on April 8th and stars Annasophia Robb, Carrie Underwood, and Dennis Quaid.
