Just about a month before it's set to hit theaters, Sony Pictures released the trailer for Keri Russell's new flick, "Austenland."
On Monday (July 8), fans got a quick two-minute teaser for the upcoming romantic comedy, which also stars Jane Seymour, Jennifer Coolidge, and Bret McKenzie.
The Jerusha Hess-directed film is officially described as follows: "Obsessed with the BBC production of "Pride and Prejudice", a woman travels to a Jane Austen theme park in search for her perfect gentleman."
Check out the trailer for "Austenland" in the player below, and be sure to keep an eye out for it's theatrical release in the UK on September 27th.

Keri Russell covers the May issue of Women’s Health magazine to promote her role as a KGB agent in FX’s latest darling, “The Americans,” and to show off her extremely toned tummy with a headline that reads “BEST. ABS. EVER.” Keri is both 37 years old and mother to two young children (River, 5, and Willa, 1), and her washboard abs are crazy insane. I remember noting that Keri looked super tiny a few months ago at the FX premiere of “The Amercans,” but she looks very healthy and toned on this cover. She’s complaining a lot about her butt in this interview, which I think she attributes to aging but it’s probably more of a case of her low body weight. Here are some more abs and some excerpts:
On staying fit after babies: “[I have] this really nerdy workout I do in my walk-through closet in our brownstone. I do a workout video and use my own music — whatever is inspiring to me at that time, like Alabama Shakes, the Cure, or Mumford and Sons.”
She eats healthy … now: “I don’t think I ate a green vegetable until I was 30. I didn’t grow up with a mom who enforced that at all.”
On getting older: “I’m not a complainer about age. I think my girlfriends all look so much better now than they did 15 years ago. But the thing I notice most is my butt. I used to have a really good, plump butt. Ugh — now my butt’s gone. I do wish I had my 25-year-old butt!”
Living in NYC keeps her slim: “My number one healthy tip? Everyone should dance more. Everyone should walk more. I mean that’s one of the great things about living in Brooklyn and in New York. You get to eat a big rich fatty meal but then you can walk home.”"

I definitely see what Keri’s saying about New York City. Everytime I visit, I do notice that all of the (non-tourists) appear to be in incredible physical shape because they generally walk several miles per day! That’s what happens when one has to dash from home to subway station to work on a daily basis, and it’s just not practical to drive in Manhattan or most of the other boroughs when traffic is so terrible and parking fees are outrageous.
This photoshoot is quite lovely though. I do like this particular black and white shot the most. I’m glad Keri is back on a successful television series, and we’ll surely be seeing more of her very soon.

Keri Russell sat down with Parade magazine to promote her role in “The Americans,” which is the new FX drama/thriller that features Keri and Matthew Rhys as undercover KGB spies in the 1980s. FX has been pushing this show pretty hard, and I’ll admit that it sounds more than halfway decent even though I am notoriously hesitant to try out new television programming. Reviews of the show’s first few episodes are mostly positive though and speak to the “intriguing and exciting start” of the story following an arranged marriage between the two leads as they pretend to be normal, middle-class U.S. citizens and still go about their various missions.
For certain, this is a departure from Keri’s old television show and her main claim to fame, “Felicity.” Does anyone else remember how that show’s ratings took a huge nosedive once Keri chopped off her luscious, curly locks? That was a little embarrassing and unnecessary, but television audiences are a fickle bunch. In these photos, Keri looks tinier than I recall at “The Americans” premiere a few weeks ago. Here are some excerpts from Parade where she talks about balancing work and family:
She’s not big on technology & digs the 1980s era: “I’m never on my cell phone. I don?t even know why I have one. It’s been fun to go back to this period of time. The actors who play my kids had never seen a rotary phone before!”
On her career breaks: “I like working hard, but my life outside of my career is equally important to me. Maybe I?m not ambitious enough, but I?m just as interested in my friends and my relationship with my family.”
How has motherhood changed her? “You instantly become less selfish. You can’t be the biggest person in the world anymore–they are. It really grounds you.”
How she spends her free time: “With my girlfriends, adult beverages, and delicious food!?”
On the “Felicity” experience: “It was a really sweet, heartfelt show and it’s funny because the creators were both men in their thirties when they wrote it. I think what people really

Always a sound choice for a photo shoot focus, Keri Russell is the picture of elegance in the October 2010 issue of Esquire.
Getting a steamy spread in the popular magazine, the former "Felicity" star sprawled out onto a bed for a few shots before stripping to the nude and tossing on a trench coat for another round of photos.
The Esquire gig comes as Miss Russell has been promoting her new FOX sitcom titled "Running Wilde".
Of her character (Mitchell Hurwitz) and the show in general, Keri said, ?It?s so refreshing and I love it! It?s something you can watch the second and third time and notice new things and get different jokes."
?I?m obviously a huge Arrested Development fan, and I was just so taken by Mitch that I couldn?t pass it up,? she adds. ?It?s just been a delight. It?s hilarious. I feel like I?m hanging out with my older brother and all his cool friends or something and I?m just tagging along every day.?

Treating herself to one of the latest trends, Keri Russell was spotted purchasing an iPad in New York City on Monday afternoon (September 20).
The ?August Rush? hottie looked cute in jeans, a white top and cardigan as she made her way out of the Apple store with her exciting new purchase in hand.
The sighting comes just as the 34-year-old actress is returning to television tomorrow night (September 21) on a new show called ?Running Wilde.?
On the FOX program, Keri will be playing a ?know-it-all control freak? woman opposite funnyman Will Arnett.

Always looking adorable, Keri Russell was spotted traveling about the country via LAX Airport in Los Angeles over the past weekend.
The “Felicity” cutie made her way into the crowded terminal - stripping off her extra layers as she headed past the security checkpoint.
The sighting comes as Miss Russell gears up for promotional duties tied to her upcoming movie, “Leaves of Grass,” which hits theaters on April 2nd.
Co-starring Edward Norton and Susan Sarandon, the film is about “an Ivy League professor who is lured back to his Oklahoma hometown, where his twin brother, a small-time pot grower, has concocted a scheme to take down a local drug lord.”

Taking care of some promotional duties, Keri Russell was spotted heading over to CBS Studios in Manhattan for an appearance on “The Early Show” today (January 13).
The “Felicity” babe looked to be in good spirits as she strolled up to the building, sporting a black jacket, white blouse, tan trousers, and funky heels.
Keri is on the promotional trail to drum up interest in her new movie “Extraordinary Measures,” hitting theaters January 22nd and starring Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford.
Also in the house was fellow guest Denzel Washington, who was out promoting his upcoming thriller flick “The Book of Eli.”

Joining the hordes of movies set for a Christmas Day release, “Bedtime Stories” premiered in Los Angeles last night (December 18), and stars Adam Sandler and Keri Russell were in the house having a blast.
The “Billy Madison” funnyman and his “Felicity” costar hammed it up for the paparazzi as they made their way inside the El Capitan Theater, joined also by costar Teresa Palmer.

Keri Russell did a daring photoshoot for the December issue of Details leaving little to the imagination. I commend Keri for her commitment to the photographer’s vision no matter how pervy it may have been. More actresses should follow her lead. If a photographer wants you to wear a white top with sheer panties and sit in a tub of water, don’t ask why he’s taking his pants down or where the camera is, just believe in him and his message of hope. I’m talking to you Jessica Alba.

Out for a good cause, Keri Russell appeared at the Midtown FDNY Fire Zone to support the Underwriters Laboratories holiday safety campaign on Wednesday afternoon (December 3).
The “August Rush” actress joined Fire Chief Sal Cassano, who spoke on fire safety before joining a group of children to decorate the Christmas tree.
