Plugging away at the their current flick, Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman were spotted filming scenes for ?Friends With Benefits? on Wednesday (May 12).
The ?Garden State? gal and the ?Punk?d? prankster shot an outside scene on the West Hollywood set, with Portman in doctor scrubs and Kutcher in casual wear.
Earlier today, the duo worked on a funeral scene at the Mountain View Cemetery, and looked to be filming a rather comical take.
?Friends with Benefits? is described as ?an inverse When Harry Met Sally about two people whose no-strings-attached relationship is threatened when they begin to develop true romantic feelings for one another.?

Getting down to work on their new film ?Friends with Benefits,? Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman were spotted on the set in Altadena, California on Tuesday (May 11).
The ?Punk?d? stud and the ?Garden State? gal looked a bit precarious as they joked while filming a funeral scene at the Mountain View Cemetery.
Ashton sported a bright yellow University of Michigan hoodie while Natalie donned a more appropriate dark-hued outfit.
?Friends with Benefits? is described as ?an inverse When Harry Met Sally about two people whose no-strings-attached relationship is threatened when they begin to develop true romantic feelings for one another.?

Hard at work on her latest project, Natalie Portman was spotted plugging away on "Friends With Benefits" in Los Angeles, California on Monday (May 10).
The "V for Vendetta" actress chatted with on-set workers in between shooting a farmer's market scene in the Ivan Reitner directed film.
The romantic comedy is being produced by Cold Spring Pictures while co-starring Ashton Kutcher and Kevin Kline.
A synopsis via IMDB tells that "Friends with Benefits" is about "a guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before they learn that they want something more."

Treating herself to an evening of culture, Natalie Portman was spotted at the 2010 New York City Ballet Spring Gala last night (April 29).
The ?Garden State? gal looked amazing as she arrived at the Lincoln Center sporting a super sexy red and beige dress with matching heels.
Ms. Portman was in the house to support her main squeeze Benjamin Millepied, who is the principal dancer for the New York City Ballet.
Natalie also got the producers of her new film ?Black Swan? to hire Benjamin as the movie?s choreographer.

She’s always up for a good cause, and last night (February 21) Natalie Portman was spotted attending a charity event in New York City.
The “Garden State” babe looked lovely as she arrived, sporting a black winter coat, black scarf, grey dress and black stockings/boots.
On the career front, Natalie is developing a new stoner comedy called “Best Buds,” in which she’ll star and produce.
The film is about two best female friends who take a road trip to their friend’s wedding in order to save her by bringing her some marijuana.

The previous night, Natalie played socialite at the launch party for the fourth issue of The Last Magazine in Manhattan.
Miss Portman has been in the Big Apple all week, catching the sights and sounds of Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week Fall 2010.

The previous day, Ms Portman could be found front row at the Rodarte Fall 2010 Fashion Show as part of the Big Apple’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Looking quite fashionable herself, Natalie sat back and enjoyed the show, chatting about the latest trends with a gal pal.

Continuing work on her latest project, Natalie Portman was spotted reporting for duty on the set of “Black Swan” today (February 5).
The “Garden State” hottie looked a bit camera shy as she arrived, sporting a big black winter coat with jeans and black shoes.
As for her steamy lesbian scene with Mila Kunis for the film, Natalie told press she was extremely nervous before the shoot.
“I was terrified. At the moment I lived in a state of inner terror. Nudity is something absolutely natural and I’m not prudish - but in a film it can be distracting. Doing Black Swan I couldn’t say no. The project is a huge opportunity for me to show a new me. My other problem is that single pictures are being taken out of context and put on the Internet.”

Making her way out in the Big Apple for press duties, Natalie Portman was spotted out at The Times Center in New York City on Saturday night (January 9).
Joined by Alan Cumming, the “V for Vendetta” beauty and her actor pal happened to be taking part in an interview during day two of the New York Times Arts and Leisure Weekend.
The outing comes just as rumors that “Garden State” gal is reportedly dating Benjamin Millepied hit the Internet.
According to an insider, Miss Portman and Mr. Millepied have actually been an item since this past fall but didn’t want to go public until they were sure it was serious.

Natalie Portman is unquestionably nice to look at, but she’s been giving a lot of really odd interviews lately and the February 2010 issue of Elle UK is no exception. Portman, who is Jewish and was born in Jerusalem, says in the Elle interview that she doesn’t like playing Jews and that she “hates” the Holocaust genre. From NY Daily News:
“I’ve always tried to stay away from playing Jews,” she tells the magazine. “I get like 20 Holocaust scripts a month, but I hate the genre.”
But rules are made to be broken. The 28-year-old actress made an exception in 2009 and played a Hasidic bride in the film “New York, I Love You”.
“That was the first thing to come my way (?New York, I Love You?) that really intrigued me,” she says.
Portman also explains why she traditionally stays away from romantic comedies.
“It wasn’t that I didn’t want to do comedy,” she says. “It’s just that I would only get offered girlfriend parts in guy comedies, which aren’t exciting to me, or those offensive roles in romantic comedies where the woman has to have a job in fashion so that she can have nice clothes, and her goal is always marriage.”
But it’s not that Portman is afraid to get sexy. After all, one of her first roles was as a precocious 12-year-old in “The Professional.”
“There was a lot of controversy about the whole Lolita thing,” she says in the interview. “My parents were super-protective about it, but I got a lot of weird letters. It was really upsetting. I didn’t want to be seen as a sex object, so I went in the opposite direction. I’m definitely not a prude about sex or nudity, I just don’t want to do something that will end up as a screen grab on a porn site.”
This seems pretty disingenuous to me. It’s not like The Professional was Portman’s only sexed-up role by a long shot. She’s was the Lolita-esque ingenue in Beautiful Girls, she was essentially nothing but a love interest in the Star Wars prequels, she played a stripper in Closer, she did nudity in both Hotel Chevalier and Goya’s Ghosts, and photos of her bare ass have been floating all over the internet for several years now. Look, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with an actress owning her sexuality or doing nudity if it’s something she’s comfortable with, but it’s pretty jackassy to do it and then turn around and run your mouth off about how you don’t want to be seen as a sex object, so you “went in the opposite direction.”
Natalie Portman should maybe consider a new “opposite direction” for her career, consisting primarily of standing around looking pretty and keeping her mouth shut.
