It?s been a tough road from teen star to bona fide celebrity and Selena Gomez isn?t afraid to admit she?s made some mistakes along the way.
During her interview on ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show,? the ?Come and Get It? singer said on a scale from 1 to 10 she?s sitting at a pretty solid seven.
Gomez explained, ?Yeah. You know this year?s been?I feel like I have been doing this so long that people tend to forget that. They're all like ?be yourself, be yourself,? and I?m still trying to figure out who that is. So, I know I?m not perfect, but I know I have a lot of people that support me and love me.?
?I don?t know, I don?t want to let anyone down. So I just try to be the best I can be. It?s awkward being 20. In our 20s. I get to do amazing things like use my platform for things like UNICEF and kind of just shift everything into what?s important and what actually matters in the world. So that?s my plus side.?

She?s been busy promoting her new movie ?Rudderless,? and on Thursday (October 9) Selena Gomez paid a visit to ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show.?
While hanging out in the green room, the ?Wizards of Waverly Place? star hit up the catering area and amassed quite a feast for herself.
And of course, Miss Gomez made sure to show off her extensive food hoarding with a photo via Instagram.
Selena added the caption, ?I've only been @theEllenshow for 20 min. Sums it up.? And yet she still looks flawless!

In the clip, the noted singer/songwriter is joined by the ?Spring Breakers? babe for a heartfelt duet, backed up by William H Macy on the Wurlitzer.
Gomez and Kweller?s chorus goes, ?Hold on, and suddenly you?ll find your way / Hold on, til yesterday is far away.?
Starring Billy Crudup, Felicity Huffman and Anton Yelchin, ?Rudderless? sails into theaters on October 17th.

Taking a break from promoting her new film ?Rudderless,? Selena Gomez paid a visit to some sick kids at Los Angeles? Children?s Hospital on Wednesday (October 8).
The 22-year-old ?Ramona & Beezus? babe snapped photos with her ailing fans and even gave one lucky girl the nickname ?princess.?
A rep from the hospital told E! News, ?Selena took the time to stop and visit with each one, hear their stories, give hugs, share laughs and provide encouragement. It was a much-needed lift for these children and their families during an incredibly difficult time.?
Later, the hospital tweeted, ?Thank you for visiting and spending a special moment with our kids! RT @selenagomez: Spending time with @ChildrensLA :).?
