Situated in the islands for work duties, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo enjoyed a little free time with a leisurely stroll around Honolulu on Thursday (January 20).
The recently engaged couple were both dressed casually as they meandered about a scenic beachfront walkway in between stops at a few streetside vendor booths.
As for the reason behind their trip, Nick and Vanessa are shooting their guest spot on the television show "Hawaii Five-O" - with the episode set to air in February.
With Lachey spotted clad in a wetsuit with a gunshot wound during the course of the day, he and Minnillo are playing an engaged couple during a cruise ship based installment which sees the vessel held hostage by pirates.

Bringing an end to the week with a couple's outing, Nick Lachey and his fiancee Vanessa Minnillo grabbed lunch together at Stanley's in Sherman Oaks on Friday (January 7).
With both casually dressed in jeans and comfy boots, the newly engaged lovers ate for about an hour while seeming to be in good spirits as they walked back to Nick's car.
The sighting comes just as it has been announced that Nick and Vanessa will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of "Hawaii Five-O".
According to People magazine, Minnillo and Lachey can be seen in an episode airing February - with the pair playing an engaged pair during a cruise ship based installment.

They waited years to get engaged and Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are eager to finally tie the knot- but it won?t be this New Year?s Eve.
The ?Sing-Off? stud joked to Rachel Ray that he?d love to say ?I Do? during an upcoming trip to Tuscany, though his lady didn?t seem too amused.
Miss Minnillo told press, "He was joking, we're not getting married in Italy. I think that's the game of telephone, he said it sarcastically."
Vanessa added, "We're enjoying the bliss of it. I feel irresponsible for not having a date, but someone made a great point, when you're dating everyone is always asking when you're getting engaged. When you're engaged everyone is always asking when you're getting married. When you get married they start asking when you're going to get pregnant. Instead of keeping up with the Jones', we're just enjoying it."

It took them four years of dating with a breakup in between before getting engaged, but it sounds as if a wedding may be right around the corner for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo.
Unwilling to offer any specifics, the former 98 Degrees singer visited The Rachel Ray Show - during which time he hinted that nuptials may take place before we ring in 2011.
Lachey dished, "We're going to be in Cincinnati with family, and hopefully having a white Christmas. We're going to be in Tuscany for New Year's. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!"
Having already been through the wedding planning process once with ex-wife Jessica Simpson, Nick said that he's leaving everything up to his bride-to-be.
"I just basically told her, I said, 'Tell me where to be, when to be there and what to wear, and I'll be there,'" Nick revealed.

He got engaged to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo recently, and Nick Lachey isn?t interested in talking about the fact that his ex-wife Jessica Simpson was betrothed just one week later.
Lachey commented, "I don't have any thoughts on any of it. I don't know what people are saying. I'm not the one to speculate on timing."
The ?What?s Left of Me? singer told press he?s focused on his own wedding, as well as the upcoming holiday season.
"I'm very excited. We haven?t really planned anything yet. We?re still newly engaged so we'll [eventually] get to all that. I?m a big believer in spending it with the family. For me it?s all about being with your loved ones. I?m going home to Cincinnati to see my niece, nephew, parents and grandmother."

The recently engaged couple lounged poolside as Miss Minnillo flaunted her fit figure in a Pink bikini while her fiance showed off his toned bod while roaming around in swim trucks and a ballcap.
Having jetted to the oceanfront locale on Thursday, the couple are in Mexico to celebrate their joint birthdays - as Vanessa turns 30 on November 9th while her soon-to-be-hubby turns 37 on the very same day.

Fresh from the announcement of their engagement, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are celebrating in Mexico.
With a giant rock on her finger, the brunette beauty and her ?This I Swear? fiance arrived south of the border on Friday (November 5).
Aside from their engagement, they will also be celebrating their shared birthday on November 9 as Nick is turning 37 and Vanessa 30.
In a statement to Us Magazine, the cute couple told, "We're excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together."

Us Weekly has confirmed that Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey are engaged. Can someone stay with Jessica Simpson? Back to Nick and Vanessa - that?ve been together since 2006, with only a couple of bumps in the road, like this past summer?s breakup. I always thought that Nick was a little gun-shy, given his first experience with marriage was so awful, and I actually had a wager (with myself) that Nick and Vanessa would never marry. But he proposed a few days ago? and he even had a good ring! Asscher cut! Good boy.

“We’re excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together,” the couple tells Us in a statement.
“They’re so happy, doing great,” a source adds. “Thrilled about it.”
According to another source, Lachey proposed with an Asscher-cut diamond with baguettes from Bader & Garrin.
“I popped the question on bended knee,” Lachey tweeted Thursday. “I do a lot of squats so my knees are very strong.”
The two began dating in 2006, following his highly-publicized divorce from Jessica Simpson. Though they briefly split last summer, they got back together a short time later.
The True Beauty host recently told Parade their relationship has lasted all this time because they openly communicate.
“You have to talk through everything,” she said. “We talk daily about things that upset us. It’s about having a sounding board because if you hold in all your thoughts, dreams, anger and anxiety than you’re only hurting yourself.”
She said they have no plans to do a reality show a la MTV’s Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, which caused strain in Lachey’s relationship with Simpson, 30.
Chatting on Good Day Philadelphia last year, the Sing-Off host — whose show was just renewed for a second season — said he was “happy” with Minnillo, whom he described as “a very smart girl. She’s far smarter than I!”
Lachey and Minnillo have another reason to celebrate: They both have birthdays Nov. 9.
Lachey will be 37; Minnillo, 30.

Good for them, and congratulations. I think Vanessa has stuck by him and shown him that she?s in it for the long haul, and I?m sure Nick appreciates that most of their life together is private, and not for mass consumption. Do you think Vanessa is knocked up? Ye Olde Standby for getting a guy to propose? Could be. I wouldn?t put it past her, but maybe not.
Whatever happens though, I hope Vanessa enjoys the hell out of Jessica Simpson?s money.
