Rachel Hunter and Rod Stewart were married from 1990 to 2006. At the time they met she was just 21 and he was 45. It was Rods second marriage and Rachels first. They have two children together, daughter Renee, 27, and son Liam, 25. Rod had four children when he met Rachel, two from his first marriage to Alana Stewart. Those were Kimberly Stewart (you know her), 40, and Sean Stewart, 39. Rod re-married the year after his divorce from Rachel and hes been with model Penny Lancaster ever since. He has two children with Penny, sons Alastair, who turns 14 this year, and Aiden, 8. In total he has eight kids from five different moms! I know this because wiki has a handy chart and everything.
When Rachel and Rod broke up she made sure that her kids and Alanas kids still saw each other at holidays because she didnt want them to lose that bond. She told People Magazine that they consider themselves a big family and that the kids all see each other as siblings. It was really nice actually. Rachel was at the event with Alana so that must be how the topic came up.

When Rod and myself broke up, it was closer to Christmas at the time. We all [got] together as family. There is no separate. There has to be that unity and support. The kids see each other as brother and sister. Theres no step vs. step yet. Theres brother and sister unity. Its always been that way. That was something fundamental when I was leaving to make sure that was still intact and that the relationships were always fostered.

Thats really thoughtful and mature of everyone. If only all step parents could get along with exes this well for the sake of their kids. I realize that some relationships are toxic though and that sometimes the healthiest decision for yourself and your kids is to cut ties with someone.
Former supermodel Rachel, 50, has a travel show on the FYI network called Tour of Beauty and she has a book coming out this October with the same name.

Former supermodel Rachel Hunter, 46, has a new show on the Ovation network called “Rachel Hunter’s Tour of Beauty.” It sounds very similar to that 2010 Vh1 show starring Jessica Simpson, “The Price of Beauty,” in that Simpson toured the world to view different cultures’ beauty standards. That show highlighted Simpson’s ignorance of other customs, although that may have been inevitable considering whom we’re talking about. It sounds like Rachel’s show, which originally aired in her native New Zealand, takes a more pragmatic view. She said in a press conference that she has felt pressure to get plastic surgery and that people have said rude things about her aging:
Rachel Hunter confesses she has considered plastic surgery after feeling ?horrified? seeing photos of herself. The 46-year-old former Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model took to wearing scarves to hide her jowls.
?In real life I was fairly happy with myself. In photos I was horrified,? she said Tuesday from the Television Critics Association winter meeting. ?People were like, ?Why don?t you get rid of those deep lines (around her mouth)?’?
Hunter, who has two grown children with ex-husband Rod Stewart, changed her opinion once she began working on her new Ovation series ?Rachel Hunter?s Tour of Beauty.? The 13-episode show debuting Jan. 17 takes viewers around the globe to discover indigenous beauty secrets and how beauty is defined in different cultures.
?I was very much considering plastic surgery, and then I had an amazing opportunity to go on this journey which really changed my view on the whole idea of it. That moment of beauty when a woman actually feels beautiful? it?s the synchronicity between internal and external that have to have this amazing harmony moment.?
?When I first started modeling, the idea of what beauty was– that certain look… After going on this journey and seeing other cultures away went that superficial idea of beauty… I think the ideas of beauty are old and need to be shattered and there is individuality and the importance of being joyful and happy and connected and self-acceptance is extremely important of the wellbeing of women and men.?

She looks damn good at 46 and she would only look like everyone else if she had plastic surgery. I used to hate those lines around my mouth too, the nasolabial folds, and they looked so pronounced when I first lost weight. I’ve since gained about 3-5 pounds back, it varies, and they’re not as noticeable. (Either that or I got used to them.) It’s really true what they say about getting older – your ass or your face. When you take a shortcut like injectables or surgery it makes you somehow look older for trying to cheat. There are those rare treatments like lasers and electromagnetic current (ok, I own this and use it) that give results which look natural, but it’s really hard to tell if we’re just paying for snake oil ultimately. Maybe Jessica Simpson’s series had a more accurate title.

Former model and star of the sizzling Fountains of Wayne video “Stacy’s Mom” Rachel Hunter, 40, was unceremoniously dumped by her 27-year-old fiance, hockey player Jarret Stoll, just two months before their wedding. According to The Sun, Hunter and Stoll were set to wed in a lavish, star-studded ceremony - but he called off the engagement and sent out an e-mail to guests, saying the wedding was off.
ROD STEWART?s ex-wife Rachel Hunter has been dumped by her toyboy sweetheart ? less than two months before they were due to wed.
Ice hockey star JARRET STOLL stunned the former model by walking out without even saying the reason.
He told guests by email that the star-studded ceremony on August 14 was cancelled, but still gave no explanation.
Last night a source close to Rachel said: ?She is absolutely devastated. Everything was in place for their wedding ? she had the venue, the designer dress, the guest list.
?She has absolutely no idea why Jarret has done this. It sounds like it could be a classic case of cold feet. He is a fair bit younger than her.?
The Los Angeles Kings player turns 27 today while Kiwi Rachel will be 40 in September.
Rachel, who has two children with Rod, also wanted to start a new family.
Her daughter Renee, 17, and son Liam, 14, are said to be ?in pieces? at the break-up ? especially Liam who is a keen ice hockey player.
Canadian Jarret proposed last August.
He and Rachel bought a 2.2million home in Hermosa Beach, California, and were due to tie the knot in front of guests including Michelle Pfeiffer and Sharon Stone.
Rachel married singer Rod in 1990. They separated nine years later but their divorce was not formalised until 2006.
The pair are still friends.
Rachel told a pal: ?Rod has been amazing through all of this ? a real support.?
When they met Rod had just been dumped by swimsuit model Kelly Emberg, angry he wouldn?t marry her.
After the split, Rachel?s romances included a 10-month fling with Robbie Williams in 2002.

And to think, just last November, Rachel was telling Hello! Magazine all about how Jarret got down on one knee and proposed to her in front of her children and her mom, saying he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. But I guess when you’re a 27-year-old pro hockey player, that’s a long time to be tied to one woman. This guy sounds like a class act. But you know, as painful as it must be to call off a wedding, it’s a heck of a lot better than a divorce. I’m sure a hottie like Rachel won’t be sitting around shedding tears for very long. Who needs him?
