Holly Madison did an interview with Keltie Colleen and one of the subjects they touched on was Hugh Hefner’s engagement to Crystal Harris.
Note that Holly and Hugh’s relationship ended 3 years ago and Hugh got engaged half a year ago but people still ask her what she thinks about Hugh’s engagement to this day because one of the supposed reasons for the breakup was Hugh wouldn’t marry her. Well, apparently marriage isn’t that important to her now.
I think focusing on your own goals and things you had to give up to make time for a relationship puts a massively positive spin on being single. In the case of the engagement, I worry about people I care about making the right choices, but I want everyone to be happy. The hardest part for me personally, was that everyone expected me to be devastated, because Girls Next Door was such a beloved show that is still re-running like crazy all over the world. People forget that I left that relationship almost 3 years ago and have been through rough relationships and breakups since then. Would I like to be married someday? Perhaps, though I’m more concerned about having children in the future than getting married. Marriage is not the best thing that can happen to you, as a woman. If I woke up one morning and discovered I was getting married (be it to anyone) and that everything I’d accomplished for myself in the last few years was all a dream, I’d be devastated!
I’d give up on marriage too if I was young and hot and a 80-year-old guy on his deathbed rejected me. Actually, I’d take it more as an insult than anything else. I mean, really? The guy needs to prop his penis up with Popsicle sticks and he’s the one that says no? That could kill anyone’s self-esteem.

If Kris Humphries thought his marriage to Kim Kardashian was going to be kept out of the public spotlight, then he must be confusing Kim with someone more demure and less money hungry. If there was a way to profit off of bowel movements, the Kardashians would have figured it out by now.
Popeater says TV execs are already talking to Kim about a possible spin-off show starting now which would follow Kim getting ready for the big day and culminate in a televised ceremony. The show could be the highest rated program E! has ever seen, speculates Joe Piazza of Popeater.
“I’ve always dreamed of a big wedding. I’ll probably do something really over-the-top. Super feminine but still really modern, chic and cool, but it has to have a lot of heart, it has to be all about the family,” Kardashian told PEOPLE.
Apart from the show, Kris Jenner will be milking the wedding for every promotional opportunity. Meanwhile, the eventual wedding photos may be able to garner at least $2 million for domestic rights and an additional $1 million for international rights.
All in all, the marriage could net the Kardashians $5 million. That’s on top of their $65 million empire. It’s pretty incredible if you think about it. Who knew banging a D-list rapper on video could have led to all this. Socialite fairy tales do come true!

Stepping out for a fun-filled afternoon, Hilary Duff and Jessica Szohr were spotted at the SoBe ?Try Everything? challenge in New York City today (May 25).
The ?So Yesterday? songstress looked cute and casual in a white top and blue trousers as she participated in one of the physical activities.
Meanwhile, Ms. Szohr glammed things up a bit in a long white dress and a half-up hairdo as she joined in the fun.
SoBe honcho Andrew Katz told press, ?We think [the Try Everything campaign] distinguishes us with consumers and in the beverage category while pushing the brand more deeply into the social consciousness. The possibilities are endless when you?re up for trying everything, whether it?s a new flavor from our SoBe Lifewater, Elixirs and Teas, discovering a new band or learning a new language.?

On Monday, when we were recapping the Billboard Music Awards, I put up the video of Beyonce?s tribute, as well as her performance of her new single ?Run the World (Girls)?. While I?m still not a fan of the song, I thought the performance was pretty decent (my problem was that the people paying tribute to Beyonce made her sound like Nelson Mandela, which she?s not). Anyway, soon after Beyonce?s performance, some people were like ?Hey, that junk looks kind of familiar.? It turns out that Beyonce kind of hijacked (?stole?) the concept of the of the performance - SOME say - from an Italian pop artist named Lorella Cuccerini. For reference, here is Beyonce?s Billboard performance:

They are similar. Similar in visual concept, similar in approach, and they give the same vibe. But I wouldn?t call it an outright copy or theft. Except for the wing thing. The wing parts on both videos - yeah, Bey jacked that.
Anyway, AOL Music got an exclusive quote from Bey about the accusations that she?s unoriginal. Beyonce cops to knowing who Lorella is, and being familiar with the 2010 performance:
When Beyonce took to the stage at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards this past Sunday (May 22), she gave what was, quite possibly, the performance of her lifetime. It certainly ranks up there among the most memorable in the award show’s history. Honored with the Billboard Millennium Award, Beyonce performed her current single, ‘Run the World (Girls)’ while dancing and interacting with high-tech video projections synced behind her.
Indeed, the word “epic” comes to mind, as it was a dazzling marriage of choreography and technology, the likes of which have rarely been seen on live television. However, some have argued that the word “groundbreaking” might be misleading — Beyonce’s performance may have been unique in its execution, but the basic idea actually came from a performance by Italian pop singer Lorella Cuccerini in 2010. The visuals, dancing and even sequencing are remarkably similar at points. That’s no coincidence, nor is it a rip-off. Rather, Beyonce acknowledges the direct influence.
“My makeup artist showed me the performance of Lorella Cuccarini a year ago, and it inspired me so much,” Beyonce tells AOL Music, exclusively. “I then met with the talented people who worked on it. The technology and concept were so genius. Thank god for YouTube or I would have never been exposed to something so inspiring. I never worked so hard on anything in my life as that performance for the Billboard Awards.”
Naturally, YouTube is now flooded with side-by-side comparisons of the two performances and, yes, it is fascinating to see how ideas can evolve from one creative entity to the next. But whereas critics are quick to point out influences, musicians are more prone to identify them as inspiration. In turn, Beyonce’s performance will now, no doubt, “influence” other artists at future award shows. For proof, check back next year. And that, of course, is exactly why Beyonce is a Billboard Millennium Award recipient.

Well, at least Beyonce is gracious about it and she didn?t try to pull the old ?OMG, it?s original, I?m original, STFU!!? I tend to think that Beyonce was truly inspired by the 2010 performance and tried to come up with her own Beyonce-flavored version, using the 2010 performance as an inspiration.
By the way, Bey?s face still looks ?different? to me. I still can?t put my finger on exactly what?s ?off? though.

I have an honest question that I?d really like answered: how dumb is Kris Humphries? What I mean is that I understand that he?s relatively young (26) and his main interest is probably basketball (basketball, right?), but I don?t think the average, moderately intelligent 26-year-old dude would be down for a lifetime of Kardashian inanity. Why is Kris sticking around? Why did he propose? Does he not realize The Crazy that is now coming his way?
Anyway, like clockwork, Popeater has a story about how much money Kim Kardashian is going to end up making after she squeezes every last famewhore drop out of this engagement and wedding. The figure is in the millions, maybe even the tens of millions.
The Kardashian klan moves awfully fast. Blink and you might miss another quickie engagement and wedding. On the heels of Kim’s engagement news this morning, sources close to the family tell me TV execs are already talking how to spin Kim Kardashian’s impending wedding to Kris Humphries into yet another gold rush.
One of the options is to start a new spin-off show, starting now, that would follow Kim getting ready for the big day, culminating in a televised ceremony.
“Kris Humphries might not have known what he was getting into. This wedding is going to happen very much in the public eye,” an insider told me. “And they will make millions off of it.”
Of course they will. The Kardashians have built their $65 million empire on complete candor about all aspects of their lives. That isn’t going to change now. Kim’s wedding could turn into the highest rated program E! has ever seen, especially if they build up to it with its own show.
“I’ve always dreamed of a big wedding. I’ll probably do something really over-the-top. Super feminine but still really modern, chic and cool, but it has to have a lot of heart, it has to be all about the family,” Kardashian told PEOPLE.
And with a big wedding can come big bucks. No doubt Kris Jenner will milk the wedding for all the promotional opportunities it is worth
Over at Forbes, Mark Pasetsky is already speculating about how much Kim’s wedding photos will sell for. His guess is at least $2 million for domestic rights to the photos. There is at least an additional $1 million to be made in international rights.
Then there are the sneakier income streams — wedding vendors will be willing to pay big bucks to be featured in the celebrity nuptials of the year.
At the end of the day, I’m predicting this marriage could net the Kardashians at least $5 million.

I think $5 million is low-balling (and I?m not talking about Kim?s favorite sex act). Okay, so she?s obviously going to give a photo exclusive, to whoever is the high bidder. Maybe People Magazine, but more likely one of the second-tier tabloids. Then she?ll sell the photos internationally - and the Kardashians have fans overseas, trust me. And she?ll probably work out a ?very special? series on E! about the preparations for the wedding and the wedding itself. Everything that I?ve just mentioned - we?re probably already in the $8-10 million range. And on top of that, Kim will be selling stories to the tabloids and she?ll be giving other ?exclusives? to media outlets in preparation of the wedding. And THEN on top of that comes all of the endorsement deals. I could easily see the final financial ?win? being something like $20 million before taxes.

Kendra Wilkinson got more than just 6th place on Dancing With the Stars — she got her former body back! “I feel like I look so much better than I used to!” Kendra reveals during her exclusive Life & Style photo shoot. “I was a size 2 or 4 before Dancing With the Stars and now I’m a size 0. My waist is still shrinking! When you work out, you produce so much lactic acid, so my body always looks thicker and more muscular. Now that I’ve had a couple of weeks off, my body is fuller and looks better. I hope I’ll look like this forever. But to be honest, I will never be satisfied!?

“Hank loves my new body,” she tells Life & Style. “He says this is the most beautiful I’ve ever looked.” And while Hank can’t wait to add onto their growing family, for now the two are reconnecting in the bedroom.
“He’s ready [for another baby], but we’re just having fun being young parents to Hank for now,” she adds.

So it?s an advertisement for Ab Cuts? Sure. And I?m surprised that Kendra hasn?t gotten pregnant again. Maybe she?ll do it when she realizes that pregnancies sell better than bikini photo shoots? Is that a new truism or is it just how it seems to me? Jessica Alba can?t get anybody interested in her second pregnancy, so maybe it would be the same for Kendra.
By the way, celebrity and non-celebrity ladies: stop announcing your size. Most people don?t believe you anyway.

The NBA stud reportedly plunked down a cool $2 million for the Lorainne Schwartz diamond sparkler, according to TMZ.
Furthermore, Kim?s engagement ring is comprised of a 16.5 carat emerald cut center stone bordered by a 2 carat trapezoid on each side.
Following the proposal, Miss Kardashian told press, ?I didn?t expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.?

A couple weeks ago I joked that Kris Humphries was the perfect guy for Kim Kardashian. Not only because he’s a black athlete but also because his name starts with a ‘K’ making it just as idiotic as the other Kardashians.
Turns out it wasn’t that much of a joke because Kris proposed to Kim and as you can tell by the title, she said “yes.” How did the proposal go down? Glad you asked. From PEOPLE,
Her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, was waiting in her bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”
“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kardashian, 30, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview (out Friday) of the romantic, surprise proposal. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”
The rose petals were nice and all but let’s get to what was most important to Kim, how big and how many carats was the diamond?
Humphries popped the question with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler. “I just knew I wanted it to be big,” says Humphries, 26, who, with the help of Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner, planned an intimate family celebration later that evening.
Hold on, I know what you’re thinking. She’s got the rich, black athlete and the expensive diamond but what about the mini-horses covered in glitter? Well, don’t worry. Her mom had that covered.
“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” says Kardashian with a laugh. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”
Haha, rich people. They’re so whimsical! Throwing their money around like they had a bottomless pit of it. If their money ever dries up, I hope they think back to that day, do a facepalm and ask themselves “why did I buy those mini-horses covered in glitter?!,” as they take another swig of Jack and sink deeper into depression.

Last week, it seemed like Jennifer Aniston was ?rolling out? a brand-new boyfriend coincidently timed for her promotional duties for Horrible Bosses. X17 and People Magazine both got ?scoops? that Aniston had gone out to dinner with Justin Theroux, that he had been at her LA home, they went to dinner, and then they returned back to her place. A source told People Magazine, “When Justin is in L.A. from New York, he and Jen have spent a lot of time together lately? Jen was in a great mood and seemed happy to take Justin to her favorite restaurant. They seemed happy and were flirty, but didn’t act like a couple.” They also claimed that Aniston had been spotted at the Marmont, visiting Theroux. It all sounded pretty solid as far as publicity-driven fauxmances go.
And then, just hours later, Us Weekly got a blistering denial from Aniston?s rep: ?What X17 neglected to mention was that there were three other people at the dinner. It was a friends dinner.” I put on my Aniston tin-foil conspiracy hat - why the big rollout to People only to do a big denial to Us Weekly? My theory was that it was just the old ploy of getting attention by starting a rumor only to deny it. CB thought that maybe Theroux wasn?t into the whole Aniston thing, and maybe threatened to deny it himself. Days later, even more reports came out about the time Theroux and Aniston were spending together - apparently, they spent the whole weekend hanging out (May 20, 21, 22). They were spotted together at Universal Studios, then Justin was seen entering Aniston?s house, and then Justin met Aniston for lunch the next day. Hollywood Life quotes yet another source: ?These two are jumping into this head-first. They?re together all the time. But they sneak around and do everything they can not to be photographed together. Jen doesn?t like her relationships to go public before she?s ready.? Now Star Magazine/Radar has an interesting piece which includes an interview with Justin Theroux?s GIRLFRIEND?s mother. WTF?
Jen Aniston and Justin Theroux? Not happening. Who says so? The mother of Justin?s gorgeous long-time girlfriend, stylist Heidi Bivens! Speaking exclusively to our friends at Star, Marilyn Bivens said Theroux, 39, and Aniston, 42, are just FRIENDS.
?It?s not true at all,? Bivens said.
?That?s from Justin?s own mouth. He said he was with her at a dinner party with a lot of other people. It?s been just a big, big misunderstanding ? and you can take that as the truth.?
Aniston and Theroux’s supposed relationship was said to be getting serious after the pair spent the entire weekend together. According to shutterbugs, Theroux visited the single Aniston at her home last Friday, before having lunch at The Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday.
Jennifer then threw a small party at her house on Sunday with the actor and a few other close friends in attendance. But as for her daughter?s lasting relationship with Theroux, all Biven would say was: ?As her mother, I don’t feel comfortable commenting on my daughter’s personal life. That’s her business.”

This is all so weird to me. Is this a PR ploy gone bad? Or was this how it was supposed to play out? Or did X17 and People Magazine honestly - and with zero help from Aniston?s people - bungle the story? Does Justin really have a girlfriend? If he has a girlfriend, are he and Aniston doing it on the downlow? So many questions.
By the way, for me, Justin Theroux will always be the premature ejaculator from Sex & the City. ALWAYS.

Well, I was wrong. I thought Kim Kardashian?s needy, desperate ?I WANT TO GET MARRIED? act would end up scaring off poor Kris Humphries, but not so much. According to People Magazine?s cover story this week, Kris proposed to Kim and Kim accepted. Accepted the free media and magazine covers, that is. No, I?m happy for her. She?s wanted to get married - to ANYBODY - for years. She really wanted to marry Reggie Bush. Now she?s settling for Kris, who has the same name (and spelling) as her mom. Sidenote: seriously, how gross is that? I would never marry a man with my mother?s name. Although I?ve never met a dude named Faith.

Hahahahahaha ?I didn?t expect this at all?? except for all of those exclusive interviews she gave where she detailed what she was planning for her wedding to Kris. And my goodness, Kris Humphries can afford a 20 carat diamond?!? I thought he was, like, a minor athlete with no big contract. I don?t know much about sports, obviously.
Oh, and re: the glitter covered-horses? Pink is going to have something to say about that. As she should. Don?t f@$&# cover horses in GLITTER, for the love of God.

When I saw these photos of David Beckham, I was all ?JESUS, he?s never looked better.? I?m not even a Becks girl - I don?t really have a problem with him, and I don?t find unattractive, but he?s never been a lead or supporting character in my sexual fantasies. But there?s something about a nice-looking Englishman in a well-cut suit, right? Sigh?
Anyway, I had just skimmed the text on Fame Pictures and I saw something about a ?testimonial? and I thought Becks was going into a courthouse to give some kind of testimony in a legal case. Turns out, not so much. I?ll let Pop Sugar explain what?s happening:
David Beckham gave a thumbs-up this afternoon as he headed inside the Old Trafford stadium to watch the home team, Manchester United, take on Juventus from Turin, Italy. Becks is in the UK with his former squad as a salute to his friend and best man, Gary Neville, who is retiring soon. David put on the Manchester jersey to play for 90 minutes with his old pal, in what’s called a testimonial.
David left Manchester in 2003, after a falling out with then-manager Alex Ferguson, and moved on to play for Real Madrid. The trip meant David missed out on traveling with the LA Galaxy as they played an away game in Houston, though his teammates didn’t mind since they understood the importance of David’s visit.
David was accompanied by his wife, Victoria, and their sons during their last visit home to England for the royal wedding in April. Victoria sent her support from afar, writing on Twitter, “Tonight is going to be an amazing night for David at Old Trafford! Great to see him in a Man. U. shirt playing with his old team mates!”
