As you guys know, I try to stick to the important stuff on this site, like celebrity T&A and lingerie selfies, so I didn’t catch any of the American Music Awards last night. But according to my sources, Selena Gomez performed her song “Wolves” and she did it while wearing this. Damn! If I’d known […]

I keep saying thatRita Ora deserves to be way more famous, and if she keeps posting more topless pictures like this, I think it’s going to happen for her pretty soon. But even if it doesn’t, her and those funbags of hers have always got a place on this website. What can I say? I’m […]

| Selena Gomez in Coach, with newly bleached hair at the AMAs: ugh or amazing? | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Since Taylor Swift is A Whole New Snake this year, she didn?t bother coming out to the AMAs (she did record a message for Diana Ross and that?s it). Taylor didn?t need to come to the AMAs – her album is already the best selling album of 2017 and that?s with barely any promotional stops. So the big-name performer for all of the kids ended up being Selena Gomez. She performed her new single ?Wolves? with an artist/DJ (??) named Marshmello. If that made you feel old, I?m with you. Selena wore Coach on the red carpet, because that?s her big endorsement. I?m sort of fine on the dress. Selena also bleached her hair and this was our first time seeing it. It looks awful! I blame Bieber.
Hailee Steinfeld in Mugler. I like Hailee and I want good things for her. But I also want to sit her down and tell her that she?s better than the ?sexy? thing she?s trying. This look is not great, but she literally performed in a jacket which didn?t cover her hoo-haw and sparkly panties. *shakes fist at kidz today*
Yara Shahidi in Prada. How cute is this? I mean, I would hate this on someone over the age of 25, but on a teenager like Yara, it?s SO cute and refreshing to see someone go for quirky-weirdness rather than bedazzled lingerie, you know? She?s like a little Chloe Sevigny.
I have no idea who Sabrina Carpenter is but I appreciated the fact that she basically just wore an oversized flannel shirt as a dress. This is Missoni.
Kelly Rowland in Galia Lahav. I was trying to picture this without the leg slit. Would it have looked witchy without the slit? And if it did look witchy, why would that be a bad thing?

| Nicole Kidman in Olivier Theyskens at the AMAs: super-cute or not so much? | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

The American Music Awards were last night and everything about them was totally overkill. I could tell by how few people were tweeting about it that no one really cared about the red carpet, and only barely cared about some of the performances. Granted, I?m sure a lot of kids cared. But the few over-30 people on the red carpet were treated like circus freaks, and it wasn?t much better inside the AMAs. Keith Urban picked up three country music awards and they only let him make one speech, because that?s how little the AMAs care about country music. Still, Nicole Kidman and Keith came out for the show and it was probably their date night. Nicole wore this rock ?n roll look from Olivier Theyskens which I actually don?t hate at all (this looked great in motion). But Keith?s face, you guys. It?s a MESS.
Ciara in Alexandre Vauthier, perfectly rock ?n roll. This is a great ?wet look? hairstyle too.
This is a bad ?wet look? hairstyle on Jenna Dewan-Tatum. I?m also not crazy about her Julien Macdonald dress, but my qualms are mostly about this beigey gold shade which does nothing for her. Her body looks amazeballs.
Kathryn Hahn in Greta Constantine. Imagine this look in a deep blood red and without bangs. So much better, right?
The presence of certain presenters made me think that the AMAs had an amazing gifting suite for presenters. Either that or stars of ABC shows are contractually obligated to show up for certain events which air on ABC. Viola Davis introduced a segment on the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard. She looked amazing in Michael Kors.

| Demi Lovato in Ester Abner, with Danica Roem at the AMAs: pretty or boring? | Added 6 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Demi Lovato brought newly elected transgender lawmaker from Virginia, Danica Roem, with her to the AMAs. This was a great idea in theory and Danica was lovely and well spoken in the interview I saw on the red carpet on E!. Demi, on the other hand, claimed that she could relate to Danica and that she wanted to bring her to AMAs because “I feel like we?ve been through some of the same things” and that her song “Sorry Not Sorry” shows “the bullying I?ve experienced on a daily basis with haters and I?m kind of shutting them down.” I thought “Sorry Not Sorry” was about showing an ex you’re living your best life and now I’m disappointed. Demi didn’t come across half as well as Danica did, is what I’m saying, and she didn’t need to make it all about Demi. (Incidentally, I read a great profile of Danica in the NY Times about how she won her district by being relatable and focusing on achievable solutions to problems in her area, particularly the congested commutes into DC.)
This is ultimately a fashion post with more gowns from the AMAs though. Demi was in a strapless Ester Abner dress with a gathered overlay on top of a nude-colored lining. This dress is gorgeous and I love the detail. It also complement’s Danica’s look in that the journalist and metal head (she is!) was also in black, in an off the shoulder gown with a sheer neckline. Demi performed last night at the AMAs, she did “Sorry Not Sorry” while mean tweets showed on the screen behind her. Lame. Look at how genuinely happy Danica looks to be there.
Here’s host Tracee Ellis Ross in ruby Stella McCartney. Tracee presented the lifetime achievement award to her mom, Diana Ross, and she homaged some of her mom’s amazing disco fashion during the ceremony. You can see Tracee’s outfit changes on People’s site, she went for drama! I love Tracee she really knows how to bring it. This dress reminds me of some of Tracee’s JcPenney collection in that there’s plenty of jewel tone sequins and holiday outfits. I don’t normally shop retail, I love thrift shops, vintage and secondhand fashion, but I’m going to check out Tracee’s line and maybe buy some pieces.
Tracee’s legendary mom, Diana Ross, 73, in an weird poofy black sweetheart neckline dress and a giant hat with a veil and making it all work on the red carpet. Here’s a link to a video of Diana accepting her lifetime achievement award, surrounded by her friends and family.
Lea Michele was in J. Mendel and she was on the red carpet with her stylist, Brad Goreski. Her makeup was too muted and matchy and something was going on with her face, like she just got fresh lip injections and couldn’t move her muscles normally. This dress is cheesy and too fussy, I dislike the color, and look at Lea spreading out the skirt to create drama where there is none.
Here’s Pink in Monique Lhullier, in a dress that’s very similar to the tiered tulle thing she wore to the CMAs. She likes a huge gown with a giant skirt and she’s consistent. I do like the color and the floral appliques along the bodice. Pink performed “Everybody Hurts” with Kelly Clarkson, which you can see at Popsugar.
Speaking of Kelly Clarkson, she wore a black velvet and gold metallic off-the-shoulder Christian Siriano gown. She brought her 16 year-old stepdaughter and three year-old daughter with her. Cute! I like this gown it’s kind of perfect for the season. Her makeup was a little dark for my taste but it’s not bad.
Heidi Klum was in Vintage Gianni Versace and I loved this gown so much. It’s got that awesome 80s vibe without going too far with it. (It may indeed be 80s/90s.) The wavy sequin pastel pattern is perfection. It didn’t need to be so low cut and Heidi could have done something differently with her hair, but that’s a minor complaint.
Ending with Diana!
