Adding some fresh items to her already-impressive wardrobe collection, Britney Spears made a stop by Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks, California on Wednesday (May 8).
The "Baby One More Time" songstress looked casually chic in dark skinny jeans, a matching top and sunglasses as she walked towards the entrance with her beau David Lucado.
Though Brit is currently covered up in a dark ensemble, she recently showed off her flawless bikini bod as she graced the cover of Shape magazine.
During the interview with the publication, Spears opened up about the difficulties of maintaining healthy eating habits, saying, "Dieting is tough... because my specialties are spaghetti, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. I try not to make those too often or I'll eat the whole bowl of dough."

Blake Lively won the MET Gala last night and now she’s in New York doing a photo shoot with Patrick Demarchelier. That name means nothing to me by the way. You could have said the photographer was named Johnny Picturetaker and I would have did the same confused head tilt.
In either case, Blake looks fantastic. Not that she ever wasn’t. If you asked a kid to draw the perfect woman, he’d probably draw some stupid dinosaur. But if you asked a kid who’s gone through puberty to draw the perfect woman, 1/3 of the drawing would look like Blake Lively. Only 1/3 because he most likely sucks at drawing and was never meant to be an artist anyway.

Stepping out to promote her hit show ?New Girl,? Zooey Deschanel paid a visit to ?The Late Show with David Letterman? last night (May 7).
The ?Failure to Launch? lady looked gorgeous as she chatted with Dave about bringing her two dogs with her from California to New York City.
Deschanel began, ?They?re mutts. They?re very cute. Their names are Zelda and Dot. They?re very sweet dogs- two girls- and they love each other. They were actually turned into the shelter together so I adopted them together.?
?It?s a little bit chaotic for them because they?re California dogs. They move at a slower pace, more like surfer dogs? They do get along with other dogs, but one of them, Dot, she tends to bark at the bigger dogs when she wants them to play with her. And she doesn?t understand English- I can?t explain to her that if you bark at a big dog it thinks you?re picking a fight with them.?
Letterman fired back, ?That?s the problem with getting a dog at the pound- they don?t understand English.?

Here are some new glamour photos of Blake Lively strutting around New York City yesterday, fresh off of her appearance at the Met Gala on Monday night. At first I thought that this shoot was for some major fashion magazine ? perhaps even Vogue, AGAIN ? but it?s not. It?s for Lucky Magazine, according to the Mail. Although that could be wrong, because the photographer is Patrick Demarchelier, and I don?t know if Demarchelier would ?slum? it and do an editorial for Lucky. Can I just say? Her body looks amazing. God. I can?t even. I think she?s lost some weight over the past few months as a married lady, so maybe she?s not going to get pregnant right away, which is what I thought she would do. Just before she got married, some people claimed that she had put on a few ?love pounds? and it might even be a shotgun wedding. Well, Blake heard about that and she decided to show us all.

This is quite honestly one of the funniest things I?ve seen all week. Remember how the Kardashian-Jenner clan went on an all-expenses-paid (by E!) vacation to Greece a few weeks ago? Kanye West couldn?t/wouldn?t come on the vacay, so he hired a private jet to pick Kim up and he brought her to France after a few days. The whole trip was filmed by E!?s cameras, of course, but Kim was not content to simply allow the reality show to air intimate footage from vacation months from now. No, Kim organized a photo shoot with Us Weekly, and the pregnant-bikini photos scored her the cover. Let?s be fair to Kim ? I?m sure these images were airbrushed, but even then, she looks absolutely fine and normal as a pregnant woman. The problem is not her body. It?s how she dresses her body.

All this shows is that Reese?s image of a Southern good-girl who goes to church and chides other actresses for taking nudie pics is just that ? an image. A carefully constructed, obsessively maintained image that has not a lot to do with the real Reese, who has a much seedier and less wholesome life.

We forgot to cover Michelle Williams’ appearance at the Met Gala during yesterday’s fashion frenzy, so here are some photos. Michelle was wearing this black Saint Laurent mullet dress that was more pretty than punk. Her hair looked very cute while tousled around a rhinestone headband, but I’ve grown rather bored of the book-clutch trend. Is that still a trend?
Meanwhile, Michelle’s love life has been met with much speculation over the past handful of years. Most recently, she dated Jason Segal for about a year before they broke up in February, possibly because Michelle wasn’t ready to commit, or maybe it had something to do with Segal’s alleged love of alcohol. Who knows.
Now it looks like Michelle has a new guy, and they were spotted leaving the Met gala together on Monday evening. The Mail has some photos of Michelle holding hands with this dude, who looks like he could be the scrawny, coffeehouse-dwelling kid brother of Seth Rogen. Here are the details:

The 32-year-old Brokeback Mountain actress was spotted early Tuesday leaving the fashion world’s annual event in New York City with a bespectacled, bearded, curly-haired man.
The two clutched hands as they hurriedly made their way to the unidentified man’s vehicle.
It seemed to be a nail-biting experience for the actress, as she kept her right hand up to her mouth as they departed.
The Shutter Island star looked like she had a long night and slumped in the passenger seat pulling a coat over herself once inside the car.
She appeared on the red carpet for the fundraising gala on Monday night wearing a black strapless Yves Saint Laurent gown with a literary Olympia Le-Tan clutch and Fred Leighton jewels.
Michelle had been cutting a lonely figure of late since her February breakup with boyfriend of one year, actor Jason Segel.

Man, Michelle really has had an hankering for slightly goofy looking dudes ever since she and Heath Ledger broke up. First there was Spike Jonze, then Jason, and now this dude. Good for her — I hope she finds the right guy who will make her happy, if that’s what she wants.

Selena Gomez covers the June issue of InStyle magazine, and she looks very fresh and pretty on the cover. Guess what she’s wearing? The same black-and-blue Stella McCartney jumpsuit that Jennifer Lawrence wore to the Santa Barbara film festival in February. Shocking, right? It so surprising that this is a Stella design considering most of the stuff she creates is perfectly terrible (such as Kristen Stewart’s awful Met Gala onesie), but this is probably the only Stella outfit that I have ever liked.
As far as the rest of the photoshoot goes, only a few samples have been released with the cover, but we’ve already covered most of the photos a few months ago when the shoot (titled “Gear Shift”) took place. Everyone thought it was a shoot for a music video, but — surprise — it was really for InStyle. The interview excerpts that have filtered out aren’t anything of the earth-shattering variety, but Selena expresses a similar sentiment to her interview last fall with Glamour where she said if she stayed in Texas, she’d have two kids by now. This discussion was also conducted before Selena made the fateful mistake of getting back with Justin Bieber, so she talks about heartbreak a little bit. Here are some excerpts:
At age 20, she wants to push boundaries: “This is a weird transition for me. I want to keep pushing myself so I never feel settled. I don’t really know if it?s going to end up working. I’m stressed out most of the time.” Gomez would like to eventually say so long to music to concentrate solely on acting. She imagines a career modeled on stars like Shia Labeouf, Jennifer Lawrence, and Natalie Portman–actors who are continually reinventing themselves, she says.
Her new album includes a Bieber break-up song: “Love Will Remember” mournfully chronicles the end of a relationship, and Gomez makes it crystal clear that she did indeed write it about Bieber. “That’s the most personal track on the record, for sure. I think it’s a sweet way of releasing it. It’s not an aggressive approach to what people are probably expecting. I’m sure he?ll love it too.”
How to date in the spotlinght: “I?m from Texas, so I should be married with children already. I?m in love with love and totally believe in marriage, but that?s not even on my radar right now. I am not putting energy into dating. It?s uncomfortable that everywhere I go, people know. I don?t like that. But Justin and I never really focused on the attention. You can’t help who you date. So I wouldn?t swear off that or say that?s what I want again. I don?t know. I?m a kid, and a breakup is normal. I have to go through the emotions and feel it out. I?m doing my own thing, being with my friends, and he?s doing very well too. You have to have honesty when you?re living this lifestyle because of the distance imposed when working–you are separated so often. You have to be super-honest and open. That is key.”
On her “sister,” Taylor Swift: “We dated the Jonas Brothers at the same time and ended up becoming best friends. She?s the one I call when I?m having any sort of sadness. She?s very nurturing and protective.”
On her Kmart fashion line: “I remember when I was younger and kids in school would be wearing $40 sweaters and other things I couldn?t buy. I wanted to make a line that was supercute and affordable, things a 12-year-old could wear and I could wear too.” She also co-designs a sports-inspired line,
On her style: “I?m on the petite side and I don?t think I?m curvy, but maybe I?ll grow into it. I like to wear things that are fitted because they give me more shape. I like to show a little bit of skin in a nice way. The idea of trying to get on a best-dressed list stresses me out. I?m so nervous. I love picking out clothes, and it would be a blast to just play dress-up all the time.”

I can certainly get behind Selena’s statements of creating cute and affordable clothing for tweens. The competitiveness of middle school girls is second to none, and it’s pretty much the end of the world when one has to wear the same five outfits every week while the rich girls never seem to wear anything twice. Luckily for my daughter, her public school requires uniforms now. That makes things so much easier for kids when the sartorial playing field is leveled.
There’s also a rumor going around that “American Idol” is trying to tap Selena and Justin as judges for next season. That could be true, but I don’t think either of them would be interested at this point in their careers.

Surprisingly (or not?), Elsa?s husband Chris Hemsworth was not on hand to support his wife. Huh. Anyway, I know many of you think she?s quite ?tacky? but she?s been looking pretty good on red carpets lately. This dress is very ?look at me!? but it works.

Sometimes I change my mind about certain dresses or strong ?looks? after the first rush of judgment. I will soften and, as time passes, a look that I hated at first glance will grow on me. That?s not happening at all with this Stella McCartney onesie that Kristen Stewart wore to the Met Gala. If anything, this shiz is MORE hideous to me now than when I first covered it. Plus, I?m seeing it in different angles now and OMG DIAPER. The whole mid-section and crotch of this thing is totally FUBAR. It?s not even that Kristen is the one wearing it ? it?s just an awful onesie.
Anyway, Kristen doesn?t have a whole lot going for her these days. I mean, sure, she?s still young and attractive and richer than all of us will ever know. But her career has significantly faltered and her Twihard fanbase seems to be outgrowing her as we speak. And now this ? Reader?s Digest just conducted an interesting poll to determine the ?least? and ?most? trusted movie stars in America. Kristen is the least trusted movie star. Full stop. People distrust her more than they distrust Tom Cruise.
According to a “100 Most Trusted People in America” nationwide poll conducted by Reader’s Digest, Kristen Stewart is the least trusted movie star in America.
Reader’s Digest compiled a list of more than 200 American opinion shapers, leaders and headline makers from 15 highly influential professions and presented it to more than 1,000 Americans (a representative sample of adults living in the United States), asking them to rank each name on how trustworthy they thought each individual was. Trustworthiness was determined by “integrity and character, exceptional talent, drive to personal excellence, internal moral compass, message, honesty and leadership.”
According to their results, Stewart received the lowest trust score (24%) amongst all of the movie stars who made the list, despite her status as one of the highest-paid stars in Hollywood.
And who’s the least trusted male star who made the list?
Tom Cruise, who scored just 27 percent.
Not surprisingly, popular celebs Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock received the highest scores (65% and 63% respectively), with Denzel Washington and Meryl Streep not trailing far behind (62% and 61%).

The Tom Cruise thing is interesting because even if you hate Scientology and you think Tom basically condones slave labor, he is without question a movie star and people are still going to see his films. I guess you could make the same argument for Kristen though ? even with the Mini Coopering, the sulking, the slouching, the lip-biting and all of the inanities that come out of her mouth, people still go see (some of) her movies. So while people don?t trust her ? at all, apparently ? they?re still interested enough in her to see her movies?
Incidentally, what I find weird is that Kristen?s Mini-Coopering really didn?t hurt her that much with women, although maybe the effect will be a slow-burn. But all the women who liked Kristen pre-Mini-Coopering still like her for the most part. I still wonder how Kristen managed to weather that controversy with everyone throwing pity parties for her instead of Liberty Ross.

Showing off quite a bit of leg for the A-list evening, Kate Beckinsale attended the 2013 Costume Institute Gala for the "PUNK: Chaos to Couture" exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6).
The "Underworld" star looked sexy in a red strapless dress with an opening on one side, revealing one toned leg as she posed on the red carpet.
With co-chairs Rooney Mara, Lauren Santo Domingo, Riccardo Tisci, and Anna Wintour, the 2013 Met Costume Gala is poised to be the biggest and brightest so far.
Of the ?PUNK: Chaos to Couture? theme, Metropolitan Museum of Art Director and CEO Thomas P. Campbell told press, ?Punk?s signature mixing of references was fueled by artistic developments such as Dada and postmodernism, so it makes sense to present this exhibition in a museum that also shows the broader output of those movements. Indeed, that dialogue between art and fashion is what makes The Costume Institute so singular. The "Scream & Shout" singer wore black pants, matching heels, and a cream colored blouse that revealed her hot Pink brassiere underneath.
All that concentration on staying in shape is likely to pay off, as she's finalizing plans for her lucrative Vegas residency deal.
According to reports, Brit will perform alternating weekends at Planet Hollywood in Sin City for two years, with rehearsals and casting beginning in late September.
