Just a few days ago, the world lost a wonderful man when Paul Walker was killed in a car accident along with his friend Roger Rodas, and last night (December 4) Beyonc Knowles gave a touching tribute to the late actor.
During her concert at Los Angeles? Staples Center, the ?Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)? singer stopped to recognize Walker with a pair of hits.
Beyonce told the crowd, ?I dedicate these songs to Paul Walker,? before singing the Whitney Houston/Dolly Parton classic ?I Will Always Love You,? and her own single ?Halo.?
As could be expected, the whole venue erupted into applause as everyone showed just how much Paul is already missed.

Hide your bongs unless you want them thrown out a window because Amanda Bynes has left rehab.
“Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery,” says a statement from lawyer Tamar Arminak. “Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day.”
“She’s now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design,” the statement continues. “She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.”
“Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing. She’s very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”
There’s a local LA legend that if you say Amanda Bynes’ name in your rearview mirror three times, she’ll appear behind you and rear-end you.

Here are some photos of Britney Spears in Las Vegas earlier this week. She made an appearance at Planet Hollywood to promote her new album, Britney Jean, and to do some advanced publicity for her ?residency? at the resort beginning December 27. I have mixed feelings about this Vegas thing coming through? on one side, I do think she?ll enjoy being in one place and the money is always great. On the other side, I kind of feel for the fans who are going to go see her ? will the experience be worth it? When she was touring, everyone talked about her lip syncing and her ?off? dance cues. So? it could be a real mess. For the fans.
Speaking of disappointments, it seems like Britney Jean (the album) is not winning critical praise. Of course, it?s not like she?s making the album for the critics, but Britney?s father/conservator and her manager are still shielding her from the criticism:
She?s going to have to ?Work Bitch? to find out what the reviewers are saying! RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Britney Spears ? on the verge of commencing her residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas ? is being kept in the dark about negative reviews of her latest album, titled Britney Jean.
?Britney?s manager, Larry Rudolph, and father, Jamie, won?t allow her to see any of the bad reviews,? a source close to the situation said, noting the pair remain conservators of Spears? estate and manage both her financial affairs and daily life.
?Britney doesn?t even have access to the internet and lives in a bubble! Her team will allow her to believe that the album is being well received. No-one wants to upset Britney. If she were to read anything negative, it could send her into a bad tailspin and both Larry and Jamie know that can?t happen with her upcoming shows in Vegas about to launch.?
Reviews for Britney Jean have been less than glowing: ABC News music reviewer Allan Raible gave the album a mere two stars, declaring: ?I can?t quite recommend Britney Jean. It?s a conflicted record with too many flaws to be considered even good on the whole, but it does show some promise. Britney Spears is still very much a pop confection, but those repeated lines in ?Perfume? ultimately almost save the day. For one fleeting moment, she had me smiling.?
Meanwhile, the Chicago Tribune called it a ?skimpy 36 minute album,? which relies on T.I. and Spears younger sister Jamie Lynn to ?lighten her workload.? ? while the Boston Globe charged, ?Nowhere does ?Britney Jean? sound like Britney Spears.?
There is some consolation, however: The album is currently number one on iTunes ? so clearly the fans are liking it!

Ha, the album is only 36 minutes long?! OMG. That?s hilarious. As for the critics? I do wonder what people expect from her? Do you go into a Britney Spears album thinking ?this is going to be solid work from start to finish?? No. Of course not. Britney has always been about the singles and producing (admittedly great) dance and pop tracks.

The ?Hella Good? songstress wasn?t afraid to show off her growing baby bump beneath a tartan coat, black dress and black dress.
Gwen headed over to Bloomingdales department store to pick out a few items for folks on her Christmas guest list, and didn?t seem to mind the nearby shutterbugs.
To this day, Stefani hasn?t confirmed her pregnancy, though back in October she was spotted holding her tummy at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts? special event.

Cindy Crawford’s been in regular attendance for the past few days at some warm-up events for Art Basel. Leo DiCaprio’s on hand, so should be a wild party. This was the same event where Demi Moore embarrassingly grooved next to a deadpan-looking Lenny Kravitz last year. Those were the days. I’ve included some photos of Cindy with her husband, Rande Gerber, at the bottom of the post. I guess they’re fine now despite the rumors of their demise from a few years ago.
First I wanted to briefly talk about Cindy’s new shoot for V magazine. The above photo is Cindy “in menswear,” which seems like a silly description. She looks fantastic and sultry without showing it all off, but there are some slightly more booby shots that you can see here. The interview touches upon how she briefly let her daughter Kaia model at age 10, and Cindy explains:
Being back in New York: “When I arrived and got to the hotel I walked to a little market to get some things for a protein shake the next day, and I was reminded of the city?s energy, that buzz. I lived in New York for 15 years. I miss it sometimes. It?s very different from my life in Malibu. You don?t walk in Malibu?or else people think your car is broken down! In L.A. you go to dinner at 7 pm and in New York you go to dinner at 9 pm. But then in the Midwest it?s 5:30 pm.”
Harry Styles had a pizza party with daughter Kaia: “He stopped by to say hi when my kids and I were making pizzas. My kids were doing their own little pizzas and they couldn?t slide them off the pan. Harry goes, ‘Well, did you put down enough flour so they wouldn?t stick?’ And my husband says, ‘How in the world do you know that?’ and my little girl chimes in, ‘Oh, he used to work for a bakery, Dad. Everyone knows that.’”
When Kaia modelled Versace at age 10: “That opportunity felt organic. I worked for Versace a lot in my career and I knew Mert and Marcus were the photographers and Donatella would be there. That?s a dream team. So I figured if she ever wanted to do it this would be a good experience, and it was. We had to drive three hours to the shoot and she had to miss a friend?s birthday party, and then we had to wait in the trailer for three more hours because they shot Gisele first. At the end, she thought, ‘This is boring.’ And I said, ‘This is work.’ It was a good lesson. If she wants to do it, I?m a good guide. I can help her make good decisions, but now I think she?d rather be an actress.”
On aging as a model: “I?m a better model at 47 than I was when I was 22, although I wish I still had the body I had at 22! Ah, youth is wasted on the young.”

Cindy also revealed to People magazine that she won’t pose for Playboy again: “I wouldn?t now just because I have a son who is 14 and I wouldn?t want him to be uncomfortable. I would do nudes, I just think the connotation of Playboy is a little hard for a kid. I just wouldn?t want him to be embarrassed by his mother.” Cindy’s right. Her son would be sooo embarrassed if one of his friends saw his mom in Playboy. Hell, I was embarrassed after seeing my dad’s stash of Playboys one day.

Here are some photos of Beyonce and Jay-Z shopping at Barney?s in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. Is it wrong that I worship Beyonce?s legs? I know my legs will never look like Duchess Kate?s (nor would I want them to, really), but I find Beyonce?s legs aspirational. She?s muscular, athletic and strong-looking. And I love when she shows off her legs. Anyway, I wonder what they bought at Barney?s? Does Jay-Z take Bey out on shopping sprees? Or do they go shopping for household stuff like any other couple? Can you imagine Beyonce and Jay-Z arguing about sheets and comforters? I would love to see that.
Meanwhile, Jay-Z has announced something interesting? he turned 44 years old yesterday, and to celebrate this noteworthy birthday (he and Bey are all about the number 4), he announced that he and Bey will be going on a 22-day vegan challenge:
Psychologists have said it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. On the 22nd day, you?ve found the way.
On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!! This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a ?plant-based breakfast? everyday. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought?
Why now? There?s something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day?It just feels right!
So you can call it a spiritual and physical cleanse. I will post my progress? Any professional vegans out there that have any great food spots please help out! Please ha. I don?t know what happens after Christmas. A semi-vegan, a full plant-based diet? Or just a spiritual and physical challenge? We?ll see?

I have never felt like experimenting with Veganism, although (I think I?ve said this before) I did cut out red meat from my diet for years when I was in my late teens and early 20s. I didn?t really miss it then, but nowadays I need a steak every so often (especially when I?m PMSing, I crave red meat ? probably the iron, right?). Mostly I just think Jay and Bey are doing something very interesting ? they?re not proclaiming their allegiance to some new, fancy diet or anything, they?re just taking a ?challenge? and seeing where it goes. And I imagine they can afford the best, tastiest vegan food out there, so it shouldn?t be too hard.
? Potato chips are vegan right? I could take a vegan challenge for a week, probably.

Let me watch the trailer? ah, I get it. Biel?s not really the star, but she?s the ?object of obsession? for a young woman. It?s sort of like Single White Female meets Hand That Rocks the Cradle. Seriously, I bet that?s how they sold the movie. I?ll include the trailer below. For the premiere, Biel wore this Giambattista Valli Resort 2014 collection ensemble. Is it wrong that I don?t hate this? It shouldn?t work, but it sort of does and I appreciate that she?s wearing a jacket too. Plus, her hair is looking so much better now that she?s grown out (or phased out) her bangs. Here?s the trailer:
Meanwhile, did you see this on LaineyGossip yesterday? Jessica ?designed? a dream room for Domaine for the holidays. Personally, I love all of the furniture and the accessories, but Lainey is right ? the ?all-black? Christmas decorations are too goth, too funereal, trying too hard to be chic. You know what would make a big difference? Just doing the tree in silver instead of black ? it would change the whole look of the room and it would achieve the sort of “chic” look she was going for without overdoing the black. I looked over at David and I was like 'Oh my god, Manson would be awesome on this track!' So I texted him and he came over. It just worked out perfectly! It was midnight. I was like, 'Hey, I?ve got this song. I?m in the studio. I?m in L.A.' He?s like, 'Hey, I?ll be there at 4 AM.'"
