Brazilian fans paid $400 for a meet and greet with Avril Lavigne. This included taking a photo with her to commemorate the special occasion. The only catch was the peasantsweren’t allowed to touch or hug her unless she initiated the contact which made for some stellar photographs.
I’m not sure what would have happened if they did touch her. Would she have started freaking out and screaming, “Unclean! Unclean! Unclean!,” while frantically scrubbingherself with a Wet Wipelike howall my dates end after thegoodbye hug? Maybe.

Taking a break from her ?Amazing Spider-Man 2? promotional duties, Emma Stone showed up at the 17th Annual Revlon Run/Walk for Women in New York City on Saturday (May 3).
Co-hosting the shindig with ?Watch What Happens Live? star Andy Cohen, the ?Help? actress brought her brother Spencer Stone along for the ride and looked cute and casual in a khaki jacket, jeans and an official event t-shirt.
In the past, Emma has discussed her own personal experience with women?s health issues as her mother battled breast cancer.
Stone shared, ?My mom, she?s always been my hero. Watching her experience something like breast cancer was pivotal, I think in my whole family?s life and experience. She is one strong lady, so we are walking together today. It?s pretty great thing to be here five years later.?
And this is Emma?s third year of involvement with the Revlon Walk/Run. ?I just am a big fan of this event and it?s so inspirational and there?s so much energy. They?ve done so much to give back. As an actor, I end up talking about movies that I?m a part of, which is great, but to be able to talk about something that can really make some fundamental change in terms of ? I can?t cure cancer, or treat it ? but the fact that I can be part of something that really is able to give back in such a major way is a big honor.?

Megan called DeGeneres ?a fertility good luck charm,? adding, ?If you want to get pregnant, come see Ellen.?
Of course, DeGeneres was glad to help and affirmed that her popular daytime talk show is indeed ?an aphrodisiac.?

Apparently, Kim Kardashian & Kanye West are already married. That was the gossip last week too ? that they had already gotten a marriage license in LA and were going to have a quiet, low-key civil ceremony in LA, weeks ahead of their big French blowout wedding. The French wedding won?t ?count? legally in any way, shape of form. Apparently, it?s pretty difficult for non-French citizens to get legally married in France, which is why the big French blowout will just be for show, to make Kim and Kanye look like sophisticated citizens of the world.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially married, a source close to the couple tells Life & Style Weekly. It was reported earlier this week they would be getting their wedding license over the coming days, ahead of the official ceremony which is rumored to be taking place in Paris on May 24. Now, a source tells Life & Style Kim and Kanye are officially Mr. and Mrs. West.
?Kim and Kanye are now married on paper. They got their license in California over the past few days,” the source said. “Kim and North are on their way to NYC now.”
On Tuesday, TMZ reported Kim and Kanye would be married privately this week by obtaining a ?confidential? marriage license.
“People are probably assuming we’re going to have this massive wedding, and I think it will be ? but intimate,” Kim told Vogue. “Two hundred people ? just all of our closest friends ? a special night for us and all the people that really love us and that have supported us.”
Details of the lavish wedding remain a secret, but it?s already known the 33-year-old reality star has already picked out her wedding dress and will have ?multiple costume changes? from major designers including Givenchy, Balmain and Lanvin. Kimye are expected to attend the annual Met Gala in NYC on Monday.

I think the big scoop is: which designer will Kim wear to the French wedding? My thought was that Kanye would force her into choosing Givenchy because he?s so close to Riccardo Tisci. Reese Witherspoon has become a whole new person over the past year. Coincidentally (or not so much), we just passed the one-year anniversary of Reese?s drunken ?Do you know who I am?/American Citizen? rant to a Georgia police officer. Reese and her power-player CAA agent husband Jim Toth were both arrested and they both seemed to undergo some radical changes following the incident. For one, Reese all of a sudden seemed much more accessible. She started getting pap?d with her children regularly, and Jim got trotted out for pap sessions too. There were rumors that Jim would go into rehab, but that never did happen. Instead, I think they?ve made an effort to party less, at least publicly, and force a happy-family image down the public?s throat. Reese?s new lifestyle company, Draper James, should be a central part of that, I think. So what about the rest of it?
Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth are now walking a straight line a year after their shocking arrest, a source close to the couple has revealed to RadarOnline.com.
?Reese and Jim have stabilized their out-of-control home life and are telling friends that their arrest was a huge wake-up call and the best thing that could have happened to their marriage,? the source added.
As Radar previously reported, the Walk The Line Oscar winner crossed the line big time after her husband Toth was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving outside Atlanta in April 2013. Trying to get her agent husband off the hook, Witherspoon then delivered the most hated celebrity line ever to the police officer, screaming, ?Do you know who I am??
The star got arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction, and both she and Toth were taken to jail. Witherspoon later publicly apologized, saying, ?I clearly had one drink too many.? Toth pleaded guilty and was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service, an alcohol-education program, and one year of probation while Witherspoon pleaded no contest and was fined $213.
?Reese lost her good girl image, but Jim also lost a lot of respect and good standing with his work colleagues over the incident,? the source noted. ?After some soul-searching, they resolved to change their lives ? and are now on a major fitness kick, have cut way back on the booze, and Reese has curbed her spending after finding out she blew $60,000 on clothes in just one year!?
Although the actress isn?t hurting for money, she?s decided to focus on building her small art collection instead, ?which is something that helped her bond with Jim early in their relationship. The thing that blew Jim away about Reese is how cultured and educated she is, not her abilities as a glamorous movie star. Reese has got her art bug back again and wants to fill their home with treasures that she and Jim can enjoy and that she can pass on to her kids.?
The source said the Legally Blonde beauty, who has daughter Ava, 14, and son Deacon, 10, from her first marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe and son Tennesse, 17 months, with Toth, 43, ?is getting a little tired of trying to look perfect and current every time she steps outside. Jim neither pressures her to be that way nor particularly cares about Reese being a fashion icon. He loves her for her mind. They?re in a much better and solid place now and everyone?s breathing a sigh of relief because it was touch and go for a while there and her drinking WAS getting out of control,? the source said.

Reese has lost weight in the past year. It wouldn?t surprise me at all if she was drinking significantly less, but she?s also been living at the gym ? it seems like she gets pap?d going into or coming out of the gym every other day. And if she?s spending less money in general? good for her. The real question (in my mind) is: are these just superficial changes because Reese and Jim messed up so badly and they just wanted to change their image? Or have Reese and Jim really changed their lives? I don?t know. Reese is still hanging out with Chelsea Handler regularly, so I doubt she?s changed that much.

Adriana Lima is getting a divorce. It wouldn?t be newsworthy, except this whole marriage seemed rather sketchy. Adriana married former NBA star Marko Jaric in 2009 after dating for three years. That whole time while they were dating, Adriana and Marko never had sex. According to her. She stayed a virgin until she was 27 years old, and she saved herself for marriage. Adriana and Marko welcomed a daughter, Valentina, almost nine months exactly after they got married. Her virginity isn?t any of our business, of course. I?m only noting it now because she discussed it years ago, and because I think it might be one of the reasons why she and Marko have split up now:
Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima and former NBA star Marko Jaric have split, PEOPLE confirms exclusively.
“After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage,” they said in a joint statement to PEOPLE.
“We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters that we will continue to co-parent. We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family.”
Lima, 32, and Jaric, 35, met at a party in Los Angeles in 2006 and got engaged two years later on Lima’s 27th birthday. They eloped in 2009, exchanging vows on Valentine’s Day in a private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
“Our life, we live in a honeymoon,” the Brazilian beauty told PEOPLE six months after they tied the knot. “I never saw myself being married. But after I met him, everything changed. I knew he was the one and I could see myself married with him and with a big family.”
The couple have been raising their two children ? daughters Valentina, 4, and Sienna, 19 months ? in Miami.
“Even in my wildest days I knew that I wanted to be the ultimate family man,” Jaric told PEOPLE in 2009.
Though Lima has walked the Milan runways for Prada and showcased her killer body in nothing but lingerie for Victoria’s Secret, she says, “The best job in the world for me is being a mom.”

My take? Once a baller, always a baller, and it wouldn?t surprise me if Marko was fooling around on his Victoria?s Secret model wife. It also wouldn?t surprise me if Adriana wondered if there were other, better dongs out there. I wonder if Adriana will rebound straight into the arms of some millionaire who will take care of her? Or she could sow her wild oats in a post-marriage blaze of dong/glory. We?ll see.

Joaquin Phoenix has been flying under the radar for the past few months. He’s still 39 years old, and he’s still dating Allie Teilz, his 19-year-old DJ girlfriend. Yes, it is still a creepy spectacle. Joaquin’s been filming Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice, and he spends his spare time at karate class. He and Allie go together, so I guess that’s one thing they have in common. The paps have caught them working on their forms together. He’s a brown belt, one level before black, and she has a white belt, which is the starter color. The writer-director?s next pic in his seemingly endless pipeline is romantic comedy Magic In The Moonlight, about an Englishman brought in to help unmask a possible swindle in the south of France in the 1920s against a backdrop of wealthy mansions, the Cote d?Azur, jazz joints and fashionable spots for the wealthy of the Jazz Age.
Phoenix is coming off Spike Jonze?s Oscar-nommed Her, which earned the actor a Golden Globe nom, and he just finished Inherent Vice for Paul Thomas Anderson. He his repped by WME and attorney David Weber.

Magic In The Moonlight is Woody’s upcoming October release that stars Emma Stone and Colin Firth. Joaquin’s project with Woody remains a mystery. It will probably be a comedy, which is typical for Woody but highly unusual for Joaquin. Blue Jasmine was heavier than Woody’s usual fare, but Joaquin generally goes for the really dark stuff. I won’t be watching this collaboration in the theater, which is sad because I usually catch everything that Joaquin does as soon as possible. Not this time. I guess Scarlett Johansson was correct. Dylan Farrow’s NYT essay won’t stop actors from signing on to work with Woody Allen.

Ben Affleck is a big gambler and he’s incredibly good at it, to the point where he legitimately won the California State Poker Championship in 2004. Affleck loves to gamble, and there have been rumors for years that his gambling poses a problem in his marriage to Jennifer Garner. So that’s why I’m side-eyeing this report that Ben took Jennifer to Vegas with him for a “romantic break” before he’s about to film Batman vs. Superman. That’s like taking your non sports fan wife to the NCAA final four. That is not romantic, that is a guy pursuing a hobby by any means necessary. Still, at least Ben took Jennifer with him instead of leaving her at home, right?
This is news because Affleck was so skilled at the high rollers blackjack tables at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino that he was reportedly escorted out of the establishment and banned from playing blackjack there for life. Affleck was suspected of counting cards, which is technically not illegal, just not allowed. Hard Rock officials deny that Affleck is banned and say he’s still welcome, which we’ll get to in a moment. First, here’s what happened.
Actor Ben Affleck was banned for life from playing blackjack at the Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas after security officers busted him counting cards, a source told The Post Friday.
The Oscar-winning star had come to Sin City with his wife, actress Jennifer Garner, to spend some time together before he begins shooting a new ?Batman? movie, where he plays the caped superhero.
?Ben was told that he cannot ever play blackjack at the Hard Rock again,?? the source said.
?He was there with Jen on Tuesday night for a romantic break before he headed off to Detroit to shoot ?Batman,??? the source said.
?He was playing blackjack at a high-rollers table on Tuesday and was doing pretty well. He is really smart and a great blackjack player.
?Suddenly, managers approached Ben and told him. ?You are playing too well. You are going to have to stop playing blackjack. You can play any other game at the Hard Rock, but you are banned from playing blackjack in our casino.? ??
The source stressed, ?What he was doing isn?t illegal. He?s basically an ?advantaged player? because he knows what he?s doing.
?He and Jen decided to leave, and security arranged for a car service to take them back to their hotel.?
Although he?s down for the ?count,?? the hotel told him he?s welcome back at the casino any time ? as long as he steers clear of the blackjack table.

In light of this story, The Post has another article detailing Affleck’s history of gambling huge sums of money. He’s lost and won a bundle. There’s also of course the scandal from a few years back over the multi million dollar underground poker ring that Affleck, Matt Damon, Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio were said to participate in.
Radar got a quote from the Hard Rock spokesperson, who said that Affleck wasn’t “banned from the property,” which doesn’t really specify if he’s banned from blackjack as The Post claims. The spokeswoman said “Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time.”
Radar also got ahold of an internal email which suggests that this isn’t the first time that Affleck has drawn suspicions from higher ups at the casino. It was written by the Games Protection Manager, is dated April 22 and reads, in part “Ben Affleck (the actor) ? Was informed that he was being way too obvious moving his money with the count. He was spreading $100 -10K on the double decks and $0-20K (2@10K) on the shoe games. As of now, he is still being allowed to play per casino management.”
That’s all a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me, but I guess it means that Affleck was winning too much money, and was too skilled at it, for the house to tolerate for long. It also says to me that he’s been heavily gambling for a couple of weeks now at least. That’s more than just a brief “romantic break.” Still, at least Jennifer knows exactly where he is.
