She?s on the verge of a massive career comeback, so it?s no wonder Hilary Duff was grinning from ear-to-ear on Monday afternoon (July 28) in West Hollywood.
The ?Lizzie McGuire? lady was in good spirits as she strolled up the street in a muscle tank with skinny jeans, black boots and a red Louis Vuitton handbag.
Earlier in the day, Hilary dropped her latest single ?Chasing the Sun,? her first major musical release in seven years.
A fun summer song, the new track is the lead ditty from Duff?s forthcoming album. She sings:

There?s no need for a craft services table for the cast and crew of ?Adam Jones,? as Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller got to shoot their scenes at a Burger King in London on Tuesday (July 29).
The ?American Hustle? hunk looked handsome as he chatted with the ?Factory Girl? costar outside the Leicester Square location of the fast food chain.
Meanwhile, Mr. Cooper actually trained with the Burger King workers on Sunday, stunning customers as they realized who was making it ?your way, right away.?
An insider told press, "Bradley was training alongside genuine Burger King staff. The aim was to learn the 'art of the flip' which he nailed fairly quickly. There was no real fanfare from him. You?d never know he was a big star by the way he spoke to people."

She?s always up for a challenge, and yesterday (July 28) Olivia Munn kicked off her new gig on the set of ?Ride Along 2? in Atlanta, Georgia.
Joined by Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, the ?Newsroom? stunner got all dressed up in a white blouse and black skinny jeans and filmed scenes as an undercover cop.
Meanwhile, Olivia and her handsome boyfriend Aaron Rodgers recently teamed up to bless a superfan of the Green Bay Packers.
The fan?s brother arranged the gesture, scoring a signed Rodgers jersey and tickets for an upcoming Packers game as his birthday gift.
And in a video that was filmed as he opened the present, the guy declares, "He got it! He got it! Aaron Rodger's signed jersey!"
The note that accompanied the gift read, "You're such a good dad, you didn't miss your son's birthday for the tickets to the VIP Packers game I got you, so Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers sent this to you personally. You are a good man, great father and even better brother. Happy early birthday and P.S. look into the camera and say 'Thank you Olivia and Aaron.'"

I?m totally dating myself with this comment, but I remember when Jennifer Lopez was a Fly Girl on In Living Color. I was a little girl! But I remember it. Back then, she was curvier and her hair was darker and her clothes weren?t that great. But you could tell she was a star. And when she started getting acting gig and people really started to talk about her, every article identified her as a ?former Fly Girl? and everybody was like, ?Oh, yeah, I totally remember her.?
Anyway, Jennifer posted the header photo on her Instagram (?Next stop LA… #curlyhairdontcare #myNYlook #gonnamissNY #greatvacation #backtowork?) and she?s giving me vintage Fly Girl nostaglia with her ?naturally curly? hair. If only she would go darker ? she always looked amazing with dark brown hair. I actually don?t believe that Jennifer?s hair is curly like that these days. I bet her hair is a lot like mine ? some natural curl/wave, but basically just thick, straight-ish and bouncy. I?m just saying? she put some mousse in her hair or something to get it to curl up like that. God, whatever happened to hair-crimping? Do you remember that? Memories?
Jennifer turned 45 last week and she threw herself a huge, $100,000 party in the Hamptons, where people feasted on a giant cake made to look like J.Lo. Like, you could eat her cake-ass. I don?t understand what cake-Jennifer is doing to that cake-lion. I think that was what Rick Santorum was trying to warn us about this whole time.

I LOVE Elizabeth Banks. I rarely get to talk about her, but I think she?s one of the coolest ladies in Hollywood these days. She?s smart, she?s sassy, she?s talented, she works on a wide variety of projects and she?s a passionate advocate for issues that many celebrity women are afraid to take up, like reproductive choice and Planned Parenthood. Anyway, my excuse to talk about Banks this week is her new interview in New You Magazine. Some highlights:
Sex and shame: “It?s a huge disservice to young people to put shame into the equation. That?s what bothers me the most about it and why I speak so openly about sex. I promote safe sex, always, and abstinence until you are madly in love. But at the same time I have no desire to shame any young person about what?s going on in their life or about general sexuality or their bodies.”
The work/motherhood balance: ?I balance it by always putting my children?s health and safety first. Then I feel OK to go and do the job I love. It?s important to remember that I face the same challenges as many other working parents out there. I don?t think dads do it as well as moms, quite frankly, as I don?t think there?s any pressure on them to balance anything in their lives when it comes to parents being at work. I try not to feel that pressure, either. I actually have a girlfriend who works in the justice department, going after criminals and the mafia, and she?s got three kids. Parenting is challenging any way you slice it.?
Never believing she was pretty: ?Your funny gets developed pretty early on. I didn?t quite believe I was pretty for a long time. I never thought about it. I?m very genetically blessed, I cannot deny it, but I work hard at keeping myself together. Yes, I have nice cheekbones and skinny legs but I can?t take any credit for it.?

Don?t you love her? I?m in love with her. She?s so un-Goopy. She talks about working motherhood by acknowledging that every mom feels pressure and by pointing out that society doesn?t make dads feel those same pressures. And I love what she says about shame and sex. There is so much of that going on in politics today, but let?s be real: it?s been happening in politics for decades, for centuries. It?s always ?good politics? to shame young people (specifically young women) for having sex.
Incidentally, y?all: Elizabeth?s next projecs is DIRECTING Pitch Perfect 2. She produced the first one and she?s going to helm the sequel. I?m so proud of her!

I finally gave in and got an iPhone this spring. I needed to be able to text my friends back quicker, because my old phone was too hard to use. Now that I have a decent phone, I struggle with not checking it when I’m driving. I’ve promised myself that I will never text and drive and that I will not check the phone even when stopped at a light. I see other people texting and driving all the time, and I’ve seen my friends do it. (I will tell them to cut it out.) Even though texting and driving is illegal almost everywhere, it’s hard to resist. I hope I will never do it, and I hope I can teach my son not to text and drive or even check his phone. One moment of not paying attention while you’re driving and you can seriously injure or kill yourself or someone else. Cars are no joke.
Loudmouth Jenny McCarthy apparently told her 12 year-old son, Evan, that it’s illegal to text and drive. The kid took her so seriously that he called the cops on her when he witnessed her doing it. Evan is autistic, and from what I understand people on the autistic spectrum can take things literally and see them in black and white. So what did Jenny do? She threw the kid’s phone out the window.
On her show, Dirty, Sexy, Funny, McCarthy said that one time she was texting a [sic] driving, which has become a big no-no on the road. Her son, well aware of this legal snafu, decided to call the police from his own cell phone to report the crime.
He said to the men in uniform, ??My mom is texting and driving right now.? True story.?
Because texting and driving is a huge offense, the TV personality knew there was only one thing she could do not to get arrested or receive a ticket ? throw her son?s phone out the window.
She also let told her listeners about the time she snuck out for a cigarette, only to be caught by her law-loving son once again.
?He called 911 and said, ?I am alone in the house. My mom abandoned me,?? McCarthy said. ?I go back in the house and it?s 911 and they?re like, ?Your child just called. Is there an emergency?? I?m like, ?What? No! Everything is fine.??
Fortunately for the future-Mrs. Wahlberg, she has yet to be obtained [sic] as a result of her son?s complaints.

I get that Jenny needs little anecdotes to tell on her show so she can get press, but this is ridiculous. Yet again she’s violating her son’s privacy by telling an embarrassing story about him. Also, this makes her come across as an a-hole as usual. Her son called the cops so instead of explaining to the 911 operator that he’s autistic, or instead of owning up to her mistake and getting a ticket, she ditched the poor kid’s phone. What kind of lesson is that teaching him? Don’t tell on mommy or you’ll pay and she’ll tell the whole world about it.
The “mommy abandoned me” story sounds like she’s not telling Evan when she’s leaving the house. Even if she’s just popping out to have a smoke, she needs to explain it to him so that he understands.
