While they usually diverge when it comes to how they dress, Kendall Jenner and her sister Kylie looked more like twins as they sunned themselves by the pool on Sunday (June 21).
Joined by gal pal Lauren Perez, the ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? stars wore white one-piece suits with pale Pink stripes as they posed for social media photographs.
Kylie posted the snapshot to her Instagram account, along with the message, ?Lauren had it first,? and Perez sounded like she loved being the meat between two Jenner buns- ?My favorite kind of sandwich,? she wrote.

This pap stroll could be considered a victory lap, considering LeAnn?s ancient enemy Brandi Glanville was just unceremoniously dumped from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. There?s even a rumor that LeAnn will be invited to join the RHOBH cast. If producers thought Brandi was crazy, just wait until they have to deal with LeAnn, amirite? Last week, Apple announced that they would be launching a free three-month trial period for Apple Music?s streaming service. The problem? Giving users three months of free music meant that for three months, musicians weren?t going to be paid by Apple. Taylor Swift took up the cause, because she?s been very outspoken about the need for streaming companies (like Spotify) to pay artists fairly for their music. Swifty ended up writing an open letter to Apple on her Tumblr, explaining why she would not be allowing Apple to include her album 1989 on Apple?s streaming service. Here?s part of what she wrote (you can read the full piece here):
I write this to explain why I?ll be holding back my album, 1989, from the new streaming service, Apple Music. I feel this deserves an explanation because Apple has been and will continue to be one of my best partners in selling music and creating ways for me to connect with my fans. I respect the company and the truly ingenious minds that have created a legacy based on innovation and pushing the right boundaries.
I?m sure you are aware that Apple Music will be offering a free 3 month trial to anyone who signs up for the service. I?m not sure you know that Apple Music will not be paying writers, producers, or artists for those three months. I find it to be shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company.
This is not about me. Thankfully I am on my fifth album and can support myself, my band, crew, and entire management team by playing live shows. This is about the new artist or band that has just released their first single and will not be paid for its success. This is about the young songwriter who just got his or her first cut and thought that the royalties from that would get them out of debt. This is about the producer who works tirelessly to innovate and create, just like the innovators and creators at Apple are pioneering in their field?but will not get paid for a quarter of a year?s worth of plays on his or her songs.
These are not the complaints of a spoiled, petulant child. These are the echoed sentiments of every artist, writer and producer in my social circles who are afraid to speak up publicly because we admire and respect Apple so much. We simply do not respect this particular call.

And surprisingly ? or perhaps not so much ? Taylor is so powerful that with one Tumblr post, she was able to change Apple?s policy. Can you believe that? Apple executive Eddy Cue (senior vice president of internet services and software) tweeted to Swifty: ?Apple will always make sure that artist are paid #iTunes #AppleMusic? #AppleMusic will pay artist for streaming, even during customer?s free trial period? We hear you @taylorswift13 and indie artists. Love, Apple.?
Cue also did an interview with Billboard, saying that it was Swifty?s open letter that really changed his mind. Swifty also released a statement, saying: “I am elated and relieved. Thank you for your words of support today. They listened to us.”
For what it?s worth, I don?t think Swifty is being ?spoiled and petulant? here. She?s arguably the most powerful woman/person in music today and when it comes to how she handles the business side of her career, I have no shade. Yes, she?s motivated by self-interest and she genuinely wants to be paid, but as she says, most of her money is coming from touring anyway. She?s standing up for herself AND for lesser known artists who need whatever revenue they can find.

Last Friday, we discussed the tabloid rumor that Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig?s marriage might be falling apart. Star Magazine?s rumors were along the lines of ?they haven?t walked a red carpet together in more than a year? and ?Daniel might be fooling around.? Notably, I think, Daniel didn?t come to Cannes when Rachel was promoting projects back to back last month. So what?s happening? I have no idea. But Rachel did sit down for a lengthy interview with The Daily Mirror and she ends up discussing her marriage, her husband and much more. You can read the full piece here. Some highlights:
Rachel on her 20s: ?I was often single and feeling alone in my 20s. I?d eat pizza at home by myself, rent movies, all the clichs…It was hard sometimes but you hope eventually you?ll find the right partner. When I was younger, I worried about so many things and it was hard for me to feel happy or understand what made me happy. Once you reach your forties, you know where to look.?
On her marriage: ?I love to cook. Daniel is also very good at it. We always enjoy trying out different kinds of cuisine and having fun with that.?
She won?t do Botox or plastic surgery: ?You have to be realistic about it and not fight it. I don?t worry about wrinkles but I?ve worked on my fitness since Henry was born and I pay more attention to my body than I did when I was younger. But overall, you have to find as many positive things as you can about getting older. Life is much less problematic for me today.?
Her start in modeling: ?I enjoyed that time. I earned enough money so that I began feeling much more independent. When you see photos of models in magazines, you would never realise the amount of hours and stress that go into that job. You have to be very disciplined to succeed at it.?
Living in New York with Daniel: ?I miss so many things about England. I still feel very English and love the TV and conversation. We have a distinct sense of humour and sprinkle conversation with innuendo and puns. You don?t get that in America!?
Whether she would ever be a Bond girl: ?Never!?

You don?t get innuendo and puns in America? Um?don?t get me wrong, I think the British people have a grand tradition of word play and humor as well, but Rachel makes it sound like all Americans are dull and humorless conversationalists. To that I say? BALLS. As for the other stuff? I actually hope that Rachel and Daniel work it out, but I?m getting a vibe that they won?t be lasting a lot longer.

Us Weekly was the first to report that Charlize Theron and Sean Penn had ended their engagement and broken up. Us Weekly reported that last week, although it seems like Charlize and Sean have been done for almost a month, pretty much after the Cannes Film Festival. So, what happened? Radar said that Penn was ?overly critical? of Charlize and that she just reached her breaking point, and that Penn was still trying to get back with her. And now Us Weekly ? the outlet that broke the news ? has some more info.
Straight to voicemail. Charlize Theron and Sean Penn appeared more in love than ever, but just like that, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress stopped picking up her phone. An insider close to Penn tells Us Weekly exclusively that Theron abruptly stopped speaking with the actor during the Cannes Film Festival last month.
“Charlize wasn’t responding to his calls and texts,” the source tells Us. “She just cut it off.”
Us broke the news in December 2014 that the longtime friends became secretly engaged after a year of dating, and of their split on Wednesday. Theron, 39, and The Gunman actor, 54, kept close at Cannes in the south of France, which makes the news even more shocking.
“Sean and Charlize looked very happy together while at the Hotel Du Cap,” a second onlooker tells Us, “with no signs of tension or a breakup.”
The stars may not be speaking for now, but they will be bumping into each other in the future. Penn recently wrapped directing the drama The Last Face, which stars Theron.

Apparently, the abrupt cut-off thing has a name ? it?s called ?ghosting.? Which sounds more like a CIA thing than a relationship thing. Once again, we?re left with the impression that Charlize was the one to end things. Once again, we?re left with the impression that this really did happen suddenly, like they were totally in love one minute and then nothing. My guess is that Sean Penn knows what he did and that whatever it was, there?s no coming back. So if he knows what he did, is it cool to cut off contact completely? I have mixed feelings about the practice (and I’ve ghosted guys and female friends), but if you do it to the right person, they get the message.

Listening to Colin Farrell speak is my new favorite pastime. The last time we covered him, he spoke intelligently and at length about the historic popular vote in Ireland which legalized gay marriage. There’s nothing better than hearing a hot guy with an accent passionately share my same political views.
As part of his new gig for Dolce & Gabbana’s Intenso cologne (that sounds like a parody name, right?) and in honor of Father’s day, Colin talked about the joys and fears of being a dad. He was just as thoughtful and introspective as you might expect. Colin is father to two boys including James Padraig Farrell, 12, from his relationship with model Kim Bordenave. James has a developmental disorder called Angelman syndrome, which Colin has spoken about publicly in order to increase funding and awareness. He also has a five year-old son, Henry Tadeusz Farrell, from his relationship with Polish actress Alicja Bachleda-Curu?.

It’s incredibly complicated, I find it, to be a father because I have no idea what I’m doing. I haven’t read any books but I know that if I did they would just confound me even more. There is no direct science to it. Because like art and like life it is the most extreme exercise in trial and error because the consequences are so great… not grave but great.
It can be a terrifying thing?but also there’s a great liberation in being a father, if I can speak from a point of self-interest for a second. Because for the first time in your life you are not the most important thing in your world. For the first time in your life you really have an understanding of what it is to love unconditionally. And it’s a pretty extraordinary gift.
I enjoy my boys. They’re fun. They’re good dudes. I have two very lovely, lovely human beings that look to me for help and assistance. Can you imagine? They’re doomed.
It?s a lot of fun. I?m very excited to see where they go in their lives… just observe the path that they?re on and maybe help them with some direction but stay out of the way as much as I can as well.

There’s a kind of poetry to Colin’s turns of phrase, and you get the sense that he’s a deep thinker. I do wonder how involved he is in his boys’ lives, but we don’t hear much about his private life so it’s hard to tell. It’s obvious he cares deeply about them.
Colin isn’t starring in as many movies as he used to and I hope he has a kind of resurgence with True Detective. He doesn’t get enough love around here and in general, I think. (Update: Kaiser has covered episode one. She gave it mixed reviews.) Kaiser will be covering the first episode of True Detective a little later. I’m so excited to watch it!

Rose McGowan has steadly worked in Hollywood for two decades. She’s not an A-lister, but she never suffers to find gigs. Rose decided she didn’t need to appear in an Adam Sandler movie after reading a wardrobe note, which was tucked into a script. Sandler’s movies are usually sexist (and racist too, although Vanilla Ice will defend them as comedies). The guys run around looking like slobs.
