Heigl recently revealed that she got Kelley to seriously commit only after threatening to leave him for another singer – John Mayer.

Showing some love to her Australian fans, Nicole Kidman showed up at the Sydney premiere of ?Paddington? on Sunday (December 7). The ?Moulin Rouge? actress was all smiles as she posed with a life-sized bear at the Event Cinemas George Street prior to the big screening.
Ms. Kidman recently told The Guardian that while she?s in a good place now, the past year has been quite difficult for herself and her loved ones following the death of her father Antony Kidman.
?Personally [it?s been] really really really hard. My family underwent a massive tragedy. So not my favorite year. But I try not to be ungrateful ? I?m grateful to be alive... We?ve gone through a really tough time this year as a family. It?s so nice to be able to take care of each other.?

After stopping by Miami for a few days last week, Kim Kardashian jetted to New York City this weekend. She and Kanye had a #DateNight last night, and Kim just couldn?t help herself ? she had to excuse herself and go to the bathroom, which is where she posted two mirror selfies. Because it was a #DateNight, of course. Why enjoy your husband?s company quietly when you could Instagram some selfies from the bathroom?

Anyway, is anyone wondering why Kanye and Kim are in NYC right at this very moment? Beyonce and Jay have a better shot at it, of course, because they?re scheduled to go to the Nets game tonight. I kind of wonder if Kim will find a way to make it to one of Kate?s scheduled appearances too. We already know that Kim is obsessed with all things Kate and Kim sees herself as ?America?s Princess.? Will Kate be able to avoid Kim?

She?s had a banner year with a hit album and sold-out tour so Miranda Lambert t has plenty of smile about going into the New Year. The ?Only Prettier? songstress is on the cover of Marie Claire's January 2015 edition and it?s safe to say she looks hotter than ever.
Miranda explained that she always stays true to who she is by writing and performing her own material. ?Early on, an artist told me, ?Don?t be yourself. Perform and be someone else. And I thought, ?That seems like exactly the opposite of what I should be doing.? Then I had people wanting me to adjust my lyrics to be more appealing to the masses or whatever. I said, ?No, that?s bullsh*t.? I?d rather sell four copies of something that?s real than 4 million copies of something that?s fake.?
Ms. Lambert also sang the praises of husband Blake Shelton- ?I?m not sunshine and roses. Blake?s the happiest person on the planet. He pulls me out of my darkness? Literally everything is the best about being married.?
And she recently lost 20 pounds to get into the best shape of her life- ?When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your sh*t?s not jiggling. I?m just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized. But everybody?s making this big, giant thing about it. It?s way too much focus on women?s bikini photos, and I hate it. Why do we care? I want women to love themselves whatever they?ve got going on.?

Here are some photos of Leonardo DiCaprio out and about in Miami on Friday. He?s in Miami for Art Basel, obviously. I?m also including some new photos of Toni Garrn leaving Miami yesterday. I didn?t even realize she was in Miami? because she hasn?t been spending any time with her ?boyfriend? Leo. This isn?t really surprising ? Toni and Leo have always seemed to have a very ?open? relationship or maybe they just breakup and makeup a lot. While ?with? Toni, Leo has been seen partying with tons of random ladies, you know?
Well, the NYDN?s gossip people have been all over Leo-Girlfriend Watch 2014. I don?t really understand why it?s so important that we nail down this info, you know? It?s not like Leo and Toni were the greatest love story of our time. It?s not like Leo is a monk when Toni isn?t around. First, the NYDN notes that in all of the days and nights that Leo has been in Miami, he and Toni have not been seen together one time. But not for lack of trying on Toni?s part:
Both Leo and Garrn are in Miami for Art Basel, but have failed to show at any events or parties as a couple. The ?Wolf of Wall Street? star instead is hanging with his boy posse, including Tobey Maguire and Lukas Haas. But that?s not stopping supermodel Garrn from chasing Leo around the famed art fair while he leads her on a wild goose chase, says our second insider.
?Toni cancels her RSVPs once she finds out where Leo is, just to go where he is. But they broke up, then they were together, now they aren?t officially back together either,? says our source. ?He?s been partying and dancing with a few other ladies at night and not being with Toni.?
DiCaprio, an art buff, is in South Beach perusing works by famed artists. He scooped up a $1 million 1973 piece by Frank Stella from Marianne Boesky?s gallery.
The actor, sporting a scruffy beard and a newsboy cap pulled over his eyes, also hit the second annual Women in Art Benefit hosted by Nicole Ehrlich and Up & Down with his crew, including Maguire and 1Oak owners Richie Akiva and Scott Sartiano, sans Garrn. DiCaprio was overly enthusiastic at the racy Queen of the Night?s performance at the Miami pop-up space of Meatpacking District club Up & Down.
?He (Leo) was trying to outshine the show?s stars by starting a loud chorus of ?oooohs? and ?aaaaahs? during one of the scenes, while Usher looked on, possibly contemplating joining the performance,? one eyewitness tells us.
While the rowdy DiCaprio hasn?t been spotted with his former flame since arriving in Miami, the two have been in an occasional relationship for nearly two years. And Garrn still hopes to patch things up with the A-lister while in Miami.
?Toni continues to RSVP to the top events, only to cancel at the last minute when her former beau is at something better,? says our source. A rep for DiCaprio had no comment.

Oh, Toni. Girl, get it together! Or just take the hint ? there?s no need to CHASE Leo around Miami. Maybe that?s why she packed her bags and left Miami yesterday. He and his boys (plus a Jonas Brother) hit up 1Oak in South Beach and one eyewitness says Leo ?left with 20 girls. Leo and 20 girls. He is my hero. He was overflowing with models everywhere. The Jonas brother looked scared, like he was going to drown and suffocate in the women. His face was hilarious.? Granted, I have no idea about any of the hedonistic pleasures Leo partakes in, but what in the world would he do with 20 women? He can?t sleep with all of them, you know?

These are photos from the Trevor Live event in LA last night, with proceeds to benefit The Trevor Project, “the nation?s leading provider of crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth.” A lot of big names turned up to support this worthy cause, notably Katherine Heigl in a purple velvet gown with a slit halfway up her thigh. I like that the gown is full coverage apart from the slit, and it has a nice wintery feel. It does look like Heigl is pitching her leg out far from her body in most of the red carpet photos I’ve seen. She could have just posed normally instead of emphasizing the slit, it seems like that is played out. Other than that I like her look. She likes to dress “older” and her style tends to be matronly, but this is a nice colder weather gown.
The Daily Mail points out that Heigl told Meredith Vieira that she was “hanging out” with John Mayer around the time she started dating her husband, Josh Kelley. Heigl claimed that they were only friends, but that she used her “friendship” with Mayer to get Kelley to commit to her. The Mail has a clip of the interview and Heigl gets flustered explaining the story. I do think she had more than a platonic friendship with John Mayer, that guy is a dog and Heigl seemed embarrassed about it.

Prince William and Duchess Kate arrived in NYC yesterday in the late afternoon/early evening. Upon their arrival at the Carlyle Hotel, Will and Kate stopped for a moment to pose for photographers, which is how we got these photos. Kate wore a Seraphine Maternity coat. This coat is called the Marina and it?s ?bespoke? ? meaning it was made especially for Kate. It?s pretty. She?s still not showing much, right?
There?s lots of news & stuff about their visit, so let?s just do a rundown of important bullet points. They went to the Royal Foundation fundraiser last night, which was one of two major galas that they will attend while in NYC ? the second gala will be Tuesday night, and that one is for their alma mater, St. Andrews. Today, Duchess Kate will be going without William to Harlem while William makes a day trip to DC to meet Pres. Obama and do some meetings about conservation and his campaign against poaching. Tonight they will be attending the basketball game in Brooklyn, between the Nets and the Cavaliers.
While in Harlem later today, Kate will visit the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem with NYC First Lady Chirlane McCray (otherwise known as Bill de Blasio?s wife). The center?s director already told People Mag that they?re going to put Kate to work ? she?s going to be wrapping Christmas presents! That should be interesting.
Also: yesterday was the two-year anniversary of Jacintha Saldanha?s suicide. Saldanha was the nurse who got duped by a prank phone call from an Australian radio station when Kate was hospitalized during her first pregnancy. In the days after the prank call, Saldanha was the target of a crazy amount of abuse and criticism. After she took her life, William apparently wrote a letter to Jacintha?s husband and he recently made part of the letter public ? go here to read.
And here are some photos of Will and Kate heading to the Royal Foundation fundraiser last night. We don?t have many pics from this event (so far), probably because it was labeled ?private.? Kate?s dress is Beulah London. I don?t know, you guys. If you were spending something like $50,000 for tickets to the fundraiser, would you be content to see Kate in this somewhat cheap-looking little black dress? It?s a major, expensive gala, you know? Why not wear a proper gown?

These are photos of Christian Bale with his wife, Sibi, at the Madrid premiere and photocall for Exodus: Gods and Kings. I was going to include last night’s NYC photos too, but they’re exactly the same (except Sibi is wearing black instead of blue). Bale is in a furry phase, which is nice if you like him that way. I prefer him shaved.
Bale’s been getting into some trouble while promoting this movie, which didn’t need any help trashing itself. Ridley Scott already made controversial remarks about race and the casting process, and Rupert Murdoch backed up Ridley. When Rupert agrees with someone, that’s usually not a good sign. Opponents organized a #BoycottExodusMovie hashhag. This certainly isn’t the first movie to cast in a culturally insensitive manner, and it won’t be the last. That sucks.
Bale’s been doing his part to distract with his own alienating quotes. Oh, who am I kidding? He’d be doing this no matter what. Kaiser already talked about how Bale called Moses “troubled, schizophrenic, and barbaric.” Last week, religious scholars called Bale out again.
Anyway. Bale calmed down a little bit to talk about losing the Batman role. He famously decided not to play Batman again after Christopher Nolan’s last turn at directing the neurotic superhero. When it comes to Bale, nothing is ever as simple as it seems. Bale held a secret torch for Batman, and he grew a little melodramatic when Ben Affleck’s casting was announced:
Why Bale left Batman: “[Batman is] a character that could have kept on going and going and going. It was right for Nolan to finish it where he did and ours doesn’t belong in any other version at all. It was appropriate to leave at the right time.”
When Bale heard that Batfleck was cast:: “When I heard there was someone else doing it, there was a moment where I just stopped and stared into nothing for half an hour.”

I laughed for far too long at the vision of Bale dropping his whole life to stare into the distance for 30 minutes over Batfleck. He doesn’t say anything bad about Ben Affleck as Batman, but you can tell Bale was crushed. I’m enjoying this Batman-on-Batman gossip cycle, by the way. Outlets want to make it seem like Michael Keaton threw shade at Batfleck when he really didn’t. Bale did effectively shade George Clooney, but I’m not sure that counts as Bat-on-Bat drama. Does it? Clooney was the worst Batman. He shouldn’t count.

Duchess Kate and Prince William weren?t the only royals out and about in NYC last night! Queen B was out too! Beyonce, Jay-Z and little Blue Ivy went to the NYC premiere of Annie. They didn?t walk the red carpet with the stars of the film, but they still got photographed entering and leaving the premiere. Jay is a producer on the remake and I think he had a hand in the soundtrack too.
It should be noted ? it?s more than possible that the Carter family will be hanging out with the Cambridges tonight at the Nets game in Brooklyn. Kate and Will are scheduled to attend (at a cost of $1 million to get them there), but sources have stressed the idea that Kate and Will would not sit courtside. Bey and Jay always sit courtside. So maybe the meeting won?t happen? I still think there will be some kind of photo-op though.
What else? Let?s see? Bey and Jay went to Iceland last week for Jay?s 45th birthday. E! News says they chartered a helicopter and took in some of the sites that way (they flew over a volcano!) and they even visited a famous geothermal spa. I always like that about Beyonce and Jay-Z ? they really do travel to new places and they?re curious about the world.
Oh, and Beyonce is now the most nominated woman in Grammy history. Because of Bey’s multiple nominations this year for her self-titled album, she now has more nominations than Dolly Parton.

These are photos of Cameron Diaz at the NYC premiere of Annie. Cameron’s wearing a Dior dress and boots. The whole outfit is so matchy matchy. Dior’s trying to go structural lately, but this is better than many of Cameron’s other red carpet choices. I think I owned those boots in high school and paired them with slouchy socks (such a baller).
Annie comes out on the 19th in the US, and it will make way too much money because of the holiday crowd. Then Hollywood will feel overly optimistic about remakes, and then we’ll receive some weird sequel. Cameron plays the 2014 version of Miss Hannigan, so she sings in this film. DListed posted a video that I couldn’t watch past the 30 second mark. Feel free to torture yourself because its NSFL (not safe for life). Cameron has a new interview with the Express. Once again, a journo asked her if she wants kids. Her answer is still “no.” One day, Cameron’s gonna haul off and whip out her bitch with a lecture. I can’t wait for that day, but she’s playing nice for now:
She’s grateful: “Every single day. I remind myself that this is a great job and I?m very lucky.”
Her singing in the movie: “Even though I was terrified of singing, I just had to do it. On Annie, I cried uncontrollably. Everybody was so supportive because I was so pathetic. But we laughed a lot too, because the only way to get through scary things is to have a sense of humour about them. I did a lot of training to help me find a voice that was presentable.”
On passing age 40: “This is the best time of my life. I love being this age. Are you kidding? So much just falls away. Fear, mostly. It’s the best age. You just stop being afraid and you don?t worry about what men think.”
On dudes: “I think guys are amazing. I love the differences between men and women. I think they’re wonderful and keep things interesting. We can?t walk in each other?s shoes. We don?t know what it?s really like, but we certainly can make an effort to know each other a little bit better.”
Her turn-ons: “Rudeness. I don?t have any patience with that. Oh, and too much cologne. But, basically, I love a sense of humour because that?s what tells you how smart a man is.”
She doesn’t want kids: “If that happens, then it happens. But I have a lot of girlfriends who don?t have children, so it?s not like I?m the spinster of the group. I like protecting people but I was never drawn to being a mom.”
Her parents: “I miss my pop but he is with me all the time. Everything I know comes from him and my mom. My dad encouraged us to do anything we wanted. I had amazing parents. We weren?t privileged — very much the opposite — but I grew up in the generation that still played outside, not like kids today. We were always riding our bikes, roller-skating or playing football in the street.”
On cosmetic procedures: “I?m not going to say that I haven?t tried those things because everybody has. My girlfriends have. Things like Botox and fillers, they’re part of figuring things out, knowing yourself and going, ‘Oh right, this doesn?t work for me.’ But I love my laugh lines — I guess they mean I?ve been smiling my whole life.”

It’s strange how Cameron lost the “fear” after turning 40, and then her nice guy showed up. Funny how that works. My guess is that Benji and Cam will be together for a few years. He’ll propose and want kids, and Cameron will dump him. Then she’ll go back to dating douches. Cameron’s a little boring right now, but that’s okay. I appreciate her words on aging and the admission of Botox. She’s definitely lightened up on the ‘Tox. She was looking pretty waxy back in 2012, around the same time she probably got bolt-ons.

I?m splitting up the photos from the Moet British Independent Film Awards last night into two posts. One post for Benedict Cumberbatch and one post for everybody else. The Moet BIFAs are usually a pretty well-attended London event ? they?re sort of like the Independent Spirit Awards of Britain. As such, no big studio productions need apply. Which might be why The Imitation Game got shut out of every award! Even though TIG is technically an independent film ? purchased by Harvey Weinstein, so it doesn?t get more indie than that ? the campaign around TIG definitely has a big studio feel, doesn?t it? I kind of feel for Keira Knightley! She got all dressed up and she still didn?t win. Her look is? interesting. Sort of. Keira eschewed Chanel for some reason and went with a fur-trimmed (literally) Rocha dress. Her earrings are Chanel and her eyebrows look positively Delevingne-esque. Her date was her husband James Righton. Also: she doesn?t look pregnant anymore?
More photos from the event? Gugu Mbatha-Raw took home Best Actress for her performance in Belle. She looks like a princess! So beautiful.
Helen Mirren is sexier than all of us combined.
Alicia Vikander managed to stop sexing Michael Fassbender long enough to throw on this Louis Vuitton ensemble. Thoughts? It is? a lot of Fashion, you know? I kind of wish the top had been a minidress and then she just paired the dress with those shoes. It really does feel like the pants are overkill.
And last but certainly not least, Emma Thompson took home The Richard Harris Award, which is like a lifetime achievement, sort of. I think that?s her son on the left.
