Taking advantage of the mild pre-winter weather, Rosario Dawson opted for a city stroll around Bryant Park in Manhattan on Tuesday morning (December 2).
The ?Kids? actress was hard to miss in her bright red coat and snazzy black hat as she smiled at fellow walkers and scurried past shutterbugs.
Perhaps Rosario?s rosy disposition is the result of her new status as a mother- Dawson reportedly adopted a 12-year-old girl back in October.
She previously told Latina magazine, ?I always wanted to adopt kids because my dad adopted me. That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I?ve been thinking about it more. My mother and grandmother are extraordinary women, and they?re getting older. It struck me recently that one day I might be sitting around with my children, going, ?Your grandma was an amazing woman; I really wish you could?ve known her.? That makes me sad because it would be a waste to not have these people know each other. Whatever time I have, I want it.?

Following in her sister Kim?s footsteps, Kourtney Kardashian showed off her naked ambition for a new photo shoot for DuJour magazine.
In the spread, the pregnant ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? starlet wears a series of outfits including a soaked see-through white dress, a feathered bib and a satin white robe.
Of her decision to pose naked, Kourtney explained, "I had done a nude shoot when I was pregnant with Mason, really last minute just for myself, and I love it. This time, we were shooting for our show, and everyone on our camera crew was like, 'You are so comfortable just walking around naked and pregnant!'"
However, Ms. Kardashian isn?t convinced she?d ever bare all if she wasn?t preggers. "I would never say never, but I don't think so, no. What appeals to me is celebrating the shape of my body being pregnant and capturing that time in my life...It's a wonderful thing to be able to show my children these photographs one day and say, 'This was you inside.'"
"To me, nudity is not something to be ashamed of. I'm not embarrassed of my body. I'm at my best when I'm pregnant. It's such an amazing feeling, the transformation that your body goes through. There's something about that that's so empowering and beautiful, and I just really embrace it."

They love a good cause and Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner showed up at the World AIDS Day event hosted by the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation in West Hollywood last night (December 1).
The E! reality television stars flashed their pearly whites for the paparazzi as they entered The Abbey to mingle with fellow high-profile guests.
Meanwhile, OK magazine is reporting that Kim is insanely jealous of her stepsister Kendall Jenner, given all the success she?s achieved in her modeling career.
Per the tabloid?s source, ?Kim is particularly jealous of Kendall and has it in her head that she?s taking a ton of business away from her, so the knives are really out. They?ve had a lot of tensions recently, but the money-spinning Estee Lauder deal really pushed Kim?s buttons and she?s jealous as hell.?
?It?s very ugly between these two at right now, and Kendall?s alienating most of the family with her self-entitled, Queen Bee attitude.?

This is surprising and lovely news. Page Six says that Rosario Dawson, 35, has adopted a daughter. Her daughter isn?t a baby though ? Rosario has apparently adopted a 12-year-old girl! We rarely hear about celebrities adopting older children, and this serves as a reminder that there are so many older children in need of a home as well.
Rosario Dawson is a new mom. The 35-year-old actress adopted a 12-year-old girl in October, a source tells Page Six. Dawson, who was adopted by her stepfather Greg Dawson when she was 1, has been vocal in the past about her plans, telling Latina magazine in 2008 that she planned to adopt.
?That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I?ve been thinking about it more,? the ?Top Five? star told the mag, explaining, ?My mother and grandmother are extraordinary women, and they?re getting older. It struck me recently that one day I might be sitting around with my children, going, ?Your grandma was an amazing woman; I really wish you could?ve known her.? .?.?. Whatever time I have, I want it.?
Dawson, who has sat as an event chair for OrphanAid Africa, split with ?Slumdog Millionaire? director Danny Boyle in 2013 and is single. Her rep didn?t get back to us.

I always forget that she had relationship with Danny Boyle. She also had a somewhat brief fling with Michael Fassbender at some point, although I don?t think it was anything serious. The ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? star posted a series of photographs on Monday (December 1) from her visit, and it looks like she had a fabulous experience.
In one tweet, Kim wrote, ?When in Abu Dhabi I stopped by the USS San Diego navy ship to meet the troops. Had the best time seeing everyone.?

The Gotham Awards were held last night in NYC. I?m including some photos from the red carpet in this post. Much like the New York Film Critics Circle Awards (also announced yesterday), the Gotham Awards are good for some buzz, but they probably won?t have much to do with the final Oscar campaigns and winners. At this year?s Gotham Awards, the big winner was Birdman ? the film took home the ?Best Feature? award, plus Michael Keaton won Best Actor. I think most people agree that Birdman will be included in the Best Picture Oscar race, but I seriously doubt it?s going to win Best Picture. Maybe I?m wrong?
But the best thing to come out of the Gothams was that Julianne Moore picked up a Best Actress Award for Still Alice. Many, many Oscar prognosticators believe Julianne has a relatively smooth ride to Oscar glory. Her biggest competition might be Reese Witherspoon, but Reese has already got an Oscar and Julianne is overdue for a win, which will work in Julianne?s favor.
What else? Let?s see? Boyhood picked up another award, this time the Gotham Independent Film Audience Award. As I said in the NYFCC post, I believe Boyhood will make it to the top-ten Best Picture list. But I kind of doubt it will win. The Hollywood Reporter sort of agrees with me ? they have a write-up today about how the NYFCC and the Gotham Awards are harbingers of NOTHING!
Oh, and Julianne?s dress is Givenchy! And I don?t even hate it. Oh, and Scarlett Johansson was there. It was confirmed yesterday that she did marry Romain back in October. I?m also including photos of Ethan Hawke, Oscar Isaac (his velvet is hotter than the Otter King?s velvet), Jon Hamm and Michael Keaton.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian at last night?s event for the Elizabeth Taylor Cocktail? or something. It was an event for World AIDS Day, and we all know that Elizabeth Taylor was deeply involved with raising money for HIV/AIDS, so The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS? Foundation and The Abbey launched the ET Cocktail, with help from Kim and Kris Jenner. Kim has always viewed herself as the heiress to Elizabeth?s legacy of marriages, divorces, jewelry and fame. I think comparing the two women is a travesty, but whatever. In her later years, Taylor met Kim (Kim interviewed her) and they apparently got along very well.
I think Kim looks really pretty in this eggplant color. I wish she would realize that all of the layering adds weight to her body though ? as much as we complain about Kim?s body-con styles, if she wore body-con clothes in her real size, she would look less heavy. Anyway, the color is nice and she doesn?t look bad at all. I?m also including pics of Kim from earlier in the day, when she and Khloe were filming at a deli in LA.
Meanwhile, did you know Kim made a USO trip to the USS San Diego, stationed in Abu Dhabi? You can see some photos of her trip here at the Daily Mail (I’m also including an IG snap below). She made the trip just before Thanksgiving, when she was partying & working in Dubai. I have no shade for her, or for any celebrity that makes the effort to do a USO trip or tour. You know the soldiers/sailors must love seeing any celebrity visit them.

Madonna covers the new issue of Interview Magazine, although I wouldn?t be surprised if you didn?t even recognize her. It feels like Madonna has gone away for a while, and once again she?s come back with a new face. I swear, she has a new nose, new lips, new eyes and different ?cheekbones.? Goodbye, old-school Gristle and hello? whatever this is. Anyway, the Interview shoot was by Mert & Marcus and nearly every shot of it is NSFW. Go here to see the NSFW slideshow. I?m just including the two non-boob photos. You can also read the full interview here. I have to admit, I didn?t hate the interview. It was annoying at times and Madge is full of herself, but she?s interesting. Some highlights:
Which artists she likes nowadays: ?I like Banksy. I think he’s inspiring and he speaks to what’s going on in the world, socially. I like JR. Like [Jean-Michel] Basquiat and Keith Haring, who both started off as graffiti artists?their art is on the street, available for anyone to see. It’s not elitist. You can see Banksy’s work driving by it on the street, and JR’s work?the way he takes photographs of people and turns them into heroes in their communities and makes people proud of who they are. My son is interning with JR right now and that’s a great education for him.?
She lives life like Michael Corleone: ?Me, I live vicariously through Michael Corleone. I would like to deal with life the way he does. When he’s telling what’s-his-name that he’s going to go on a little fishing trip. My God. Brilliant.?
She needs time to pray: ?We spoke about this earlier?setting aside time for prayer. The ritual of prayer isn’t a religious thing as much as it is having a ritualistic moment to acknowledge things and not take things for granted. For instance: the fact that you wake up and there’s air in your lungs; the fact that you have a job to do; the fact that you have friends; the fact that you have your health. You’re going to do something that’s going to bring you joy. We take these things for granted. And, you know, I think it’s important to call angels to you to protect you.?
On her mother?s death: ?I became very obsessed with death, and the idea that you never know when death will arrive, so one has to do as much as possible all the time to get the most out of life. That would be a motivating force. And death was a big part of my life growing up. I went to lots of funerals …?
Just say no to drugs: ?It’s about how people take drugs to connect to God or to a higher level of consciousness. I keep saying, “Plugging into the matrix.” If you get high, you can do that, which is why a lot of people drop acid or do drugs, because they want to get closer to God. But there’s going to be a short circuit, and that’s the illusion of drugs, because they give you the illusion of getting closer to God, but ultimately they kill you. They destroy you. I mean, I tried everything once, but as soon as I was high, I spent my time drinking tons of water to get it out of my system. As soon as I was high, I was obsessed with flushing it out of me.?

I thought her discussion about Michael Corleone was very informative ? that?s how she sees herself, like a mobster taking out her enemies one by one. Mafia Madge? Huh. She also talks about Basquiat and hanging out with Andy Warhol, but it doesn?t feel so much like she?s name-dropping as much as she?s mourning all of these great artists who died too young. Poor Madge.

Rihanna showed a lot of skin at the British Fashion Awards last night, but something was missing. She looks really tired, possibly because she’s working on a new record. Rihanna’s stunning no matter what. I’m simply happy that we don’t have to blur her entire dress or leave her out of coverage (due to her raging exhibitionist streak).
Rihanna wore an oversized tuxedo jacket, no pants or shirt, a diamond choker, and black stilettos. She’s showing plenty of cleavage and a whole lot of leg. Rih’s sexy as always, but there’s a big problem. This is a Stella McCartney jacket, so it’s shapeless and unflattering. You know who could have rocked a similar jacket on Rihanna? Tom Ford. Rihanna used to work his designs like no other. She even called him her “baby daddy.” Tom was at the event, but I’ll get to him in a moment. Maybe there’s been a falling out, I don’t know. It’s a shame to see Rihanna wearing a Stella design.
People cringe whenever I talk about Rita Ora as “Rihanna lite,” so I stopped. But look at who was hanging all over Tom Ford last night. Yep, this is Rita wearing a super trashy Tom Ford ensemble. It actually wouldn’t be that bad without the boob-rhinestone flowers. Rita also has a talent for making clothes look cheap, whereas Rihanna could pull this outfit off.
Kendall Jenner wore a cute black-and-white jumpsuit with an illusion effect that made her legs seem even longer than usual. She’s beautiful, but she wears white a lot. I’d like to see something different from her, and maybe some wavy, loose hair instead of the stick-straight look for every event.
Suki Waterhouse wore a tiered Burberry gown with the sheer effect that Burberry’s so fond of lately. This dress is so busy with a popped-up color, and all those lampshade layers. It’s so bad that it almost works. Suki poses like an actual mannequin.
Lily Allen brought the mullet-y cape action in this Vivienne Westwood dress. I can’t pinpoint the color — it looks both lavender and periwinkle in different lights. The cowl neck is different and cool, but the cape is overdone and wrinkly. Lily accessorized with peach-colored hair and little Pink devil horns. Something nice: The pops of color on her lips and shoes look cool.
Ellie Goulding wore a dull white strapless dress, and she looked so bored. Was she asleep? This color dress washes her out.

Here are some photos of Charlize Theron and Sean Penn on a Whole Foods grocery run over the weekend. They just returned to LA in early November, having spent months in Africa, filming a drama together. I was kind of hoping that working together would have been the death knell to this relationship, but if anything, they seem even stronger now. Who would have thought, back in January of this year, that they would actually be one of the strongest couples to get together in 2014?
Some people think that Sean is still the angry, rage monster dude that he?s always been and that Charlize probably just puts up with it. But a while back, Sean?s daughter Dylan said something interesting about Sean and Charlize?s relationship ? Dylan said that Charlize is ?awesome? and ?She’s great and they’re amazing together?she’s brilliant for one thing and she’s the only woman since my mom who can shut my dad up. The only woman! That is a f—ing challenge so… She’s a powerhouse.” Huh. So, Charlize has the superwoman strength to get Sean Penn to calm down and shut up? Isn?t that weird?
Oh, and Charlize and Sean went out two weeks ago (shortly after they got back to the US) with Dylan. Apparently, Charlize and Sean were all over each other. So? this relationship is going to last for a while longer. I?m just saying, we should prepare ourselves. I?m not sure if they?ll get married (I don?t think Charlize is interested in marriage overall), but I wouldn?t be surprised if Charlize and Sean adopted a kid together, you know?

Here are some photos from last night?s British Fashion Awards, one of the biggest nights for fashion? in the UK. I was right when I covered the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards yesterday ? many fashion people were specifically in town for the British Fashion Awards, and they just showed up at the ES event the night before. Let?s start with Emma Watson, shall we? Emma wore this Dior coat over a Misha Nonoo jumpsuit. To me, this look is totally wrong for such a young woman. I know what she was aiming for, though, and I guess I have to give her some props for mixing it up and trying something different. PS: the lip color is wrong too.
Victoria Beckham wore her own design, of course. David came out to support his lady, and he wore Dior. I really dislike Posh?s ensemble.
Naomie Harris in Peter Pilotto. I love this on her ? when everyone else is wearing gowns, she shows up in a great, colorful mini. Her body is amazing too.
Michelle Dockery in Erdem? this is actually one of my favorite looks of the night!
Alexa Chung looks like she?s carrying a fancy lunchbox.
Here are Cara & Poppy Delevingne, two of the Delevingne sisters. For my money, Poppy is much sexier than Cara. Cara still looks like Angry Baby to me, and I?m sort of aghast by Cara?s inability to make expensive clothes look interesting in the real world. Still, Cara won ?Model of the Year? at this event. Sigh?Poppy?s dress is Topshop. Cara?s dress is custom Burberry.
Karlie Kloss in a shiny satin number. I?m not a fan. Not to be rude, but if you?re a tall, blonde-ish model and you look like every other tall, blonde-ish model, you should try a little bit harder to stand out from the crowd.

Cavallari also previously told Access Hollywood, "I've been working out really hard. Those last five pounds are really stubborn. It's in your stomach. You have to eat really well and workout. I don't put any toxic chemicals in my body. I?m a freak about reading the ingredients. I don't count calories, I just read what's in whatever I'm going to be putting in my mouth.?
Furthermore, "I stay away from dairy for the most part. I think that is the number one weight gainer. If you're going to get one thing out of your diet, I think it should be dairy."
