I think Jennifer Aniston lucked out this time. She currently shooting Garry Marshall?s Mother?s Day in Atlanta, and these are some photos from the set yesterday. You know why she?s lucky this time? Because she got to shoot some scenes with Timothy Olyphant. Damn, bruh. He looks really good in these photos too (apologies to Bedhead for jacking these!). Apparently, Olyphant is playing the ex-husband to Jennifer Aniston?s character. He?s remarried to someone younger, and the younger woman is out-mothering Aniston?s character?s children. These photos apparently show Aniston looking worried/concerned and Olyphant looking like a sex god. Who needs plot, really? Just put Olyphant in a nice shirt and have him saunter around for a few hours. I?d watch that.
Because I?m obsessed with reading about food, I ended up reading this story in People Magazine about how Jennifer recently had a girls? night in Atlanta:
Girls night! Newlywed Jennifer Aniston is back to work ? but that doesn?t mean she can?t indulge in a little down time with friends. The actress, who is in Atlanta shooting her upcoming film Mother?s Day, popped into the city?s Ecco restaurant with a group of female pals on Saturday. The group was ?very casual and relaxed,? a source tells PEOPLE. ?The table ordered a few wood-fired pizzas and a couple of pasta dishes, which they all shared. [And they enjoyed] lots of laughs.?
Located in Atlanta?s midtown neighborhood, the hotspot is known for their Mediterranean and Italian dishes such as house made mozzarella and basil pizza and spaghetti with arugula, mascarpone, black pepper and pecorino.
The source adds, Aniston ?sat in full view of the restaurant [and] asked for no special service or privacy.?
The outing marked off a joy-filled month for Aniston, who wed Justin Theroux in early August (Theroux is also hard at work, having returned to the set of HBO?s The Leftovers following the couple?s idyllic honeymoon in Bora Bora).

The food sounds good, I would have probably gotten a pasta dish with no cheese. I enjoy the fact that Aniston is comfortable enough in her life these days that she?s totally fine with carbs. Good for her.
It feels like Justin has been filming in Texas rather endlessly, right? He?s been in Texas, on and off, for most of this year. From what I?ve seen ? and I follow Aniston gossip somewhat closely ? Aniston really hasn?t made that many trips to Texas to see Justin while he works, just as it doesn?t seem like Justin will make the journey to Atlanta to see Aniston. Hm. Granted, they don?t have to be joined at the hip, but they ARE newlyweds, you know? It?s a little weird.

I genuinely have a conspiracy theory about these new Kim Kardashian photos. Kim was photographed yesterday afternoon in LA, looking pretty ?pulled together? and wearing a heavy, butt-covering coat on her shoulders. My conspiracy theory: Kim knew her VMA look was seriously struggling so she made sure to call the paps and get her photo taken in a new outfit right away so sites wouldn?t keep reusing the VMA photos. At this point, I think maybe we should stop complaining about the summer coats and not just because summer is coming to a close. I think we should stop complaining because it?s pretty obvious that Kim is really uncomfortable and I genuinely feel sorry for her. Would I be more sympathetic if she stopped pouring herself into too-tight clothes, four-inch heels and bulky summer coats? Sure. But still?after those VMA photos, I understand the coats.
Meanwhile, Closer Weekly claims that Kim is having serious body image issues during this pregnancy (no duh) and Kanye isn?t helping:
During her first pregnancy, Kim Kardashian made no secret of her struggles to cope with her blossoming figure. At her lowest ebb, the star ? who gained 3st during the pregnancy ? admitted it was ?really tough,? saying: ?I wouldn?t wish it upon anyone.? And now, just three months before her due date, insiders tell Closer that the 34-year-old star?s body insecurities have returned and are wreaking havoc with her confidence.
As Closer reported last week, Kim ranted at her sisters Kourtney and Khloe following a beach workout in St Barts and accused them of using her to make themselves look skinnier. Now pals say Kim dramatically quit working out after feeling increasingly insecure during exercise classes with slimmer women at Barry?s Bootcamp in Sherman Oaks, LA.
A source says: ?Kim looks incredible but she?s feeling very insecure about her body. She thinks she ?balloons? during pregnancy and when she compares herself to other pregnant women at the same stage as her, she feels awful. She hated feeling like the biggest person during group classes at Barry?s and hated working out next to all the fitness-mad LA mums.?
To make matters worse, pals say when Kim first confided in her husband Kanye West ? who is famed for his controlling ways ? he told her the solution was to keep on working out, and then put pressure on her trainers to keep her in shape. A source says: ?Kanye is very controlling and thinks he has an answer for everything. If Kim complains about her body then Kanye blames whoever is training her.”

My answer for that problem is to simply stop going to those particular classes and just work out on your own, or with an individual trainer one-on-one. I?m not like CB, who loves to take classes at the gym. I hate working out with other people. I?d much rather do my own thing. But I suspect Kim does need someone telling her what to do and how to do it, so she should just get a trainer to work with her one-on-one and tailor a pregnancy workout that is no-stress and low-impact.
Last thing: just before the VMAs, Kim Kardashian dropped another Instagram advertisement for Diclegis, the drug that supposedly helps with morning sickness. Kim previously posted an ad for the drug then had to pull it off IG because she violated FDA rules. So she reposted it with the FDA-mandated stuff about side effects, etc.

Yesterday we saw new photos of Jennifer Garner out without her wedding ring, taken after she had returned to LA from filming in Atlanta. This was the inevitable papportunity we were waiting for after the announcement through sources that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck had “officially removed their wedding rings“. People Mag had some quotes in their “Jen isn’t wearing her ring” article about how she “faced difficult choices” now that she’s back and with her kids. People had a follow up yesterday all about how great Jennifer is doing and how she’s almost back to normal. Her PR team is really laying it on thick, which we’ve seen throughout this very high profile divorce. Incidentally, these two haven’t even filed yet as far as we know. When they do you can bet we’ll see more articles about how they’re feeling and doing and how they’re trying to minimize the impact on their kids. Rinse and repeat. Here’s some of what People reported:
“Jen seems in good spirits and is almost back to her normal, positive personality,” a source tells PEOPLE. “She’s happy to get back to her usual, family routine with the kids in L.A.”
On Saturday, Garner took her daughter Seraphina, 6, for a fun day of painting ceramic pots at Color Me Mine in Santa Monica.
The next day, she got in an early morning jog before taking her three children, Violet, 9, Seraphina and Samuel, 3, to church. “The kids seemed excited about church. They ran into several school friends,” another source tells PEOPLE. “Jen also had a very warm welcome at the church. She kept smiling and looked happy.”
The family also made a quick stop at one of their favorite weekend hotspots: their local farmers’ market.
Garner held her children’s hands as they strolled the streets, picking out fruits and vegetables from the various stands.
“She looked happy to see familiar faces at the market and received several welcome-back-to L.A. hugs,” says a witness.
Since returning to L.A., Garner, 43, has been staying at the family home, which is currently under renovation, with Affleck living in a rental just down the street.

Appearances are very important to Garner. Some of you pointed out yesterday how ripe it is that Garner testified in front of the California State Assembly on behalf of the anti-paparazzi bill protecting children when she benefits from paparazzi interest in her family when it suits her. She has said that the law has changed her children’s lives so I don’t think those two things are necessarily incompatible. Yes she should tone it down with the updates to People Mag and the happy family photo ops, but if her kids don’t have strangers yelling in their face every day it’s a good thing.
Also, we haven’t seen the nanny in some time. She got some cash and she’s gone away for now, I think. She’s super thirsty so I wouldn’t be surprised to see her pop up on some D-list reality show, maybe something on VH1.
