It?s going to be an exciting year for Nicky Hilton and her new husband James Rothschild, as they?re expecting their first child together.
According to multiple sources, the blissful newlyweds will become parents in the months ahead and they haven?t even been married for a year!
Nicky and James tied the knot at Kensington Palace back in July after getting engaged in August of 2014. Hilton previously married businessman Todd Meister in 2004, however their union was annulled after three months.

Last July, Nicky Hilton married British heir James Rothschild in a royal-inspired fairytale wedding at Kensington Palace. It probably cost the Hiltons and Rothschilds millions and millions of dollars to rent out that venue, but Nicky got her fairytale wedding and now she?s producing an heir. Yes, six months after the wedding, sources are telling People Magazine that Nicky?s expecting the first little Hilton-Rothschild child.

?Nicky is very excited to become a mom,? an insider tells PEOPLE. ?She is feeling great!?
After an August 2014 engagement while boating on Italy?s Lake Como, Hilton, 32, wed banker James Rothschild during a lavish ceremony at Kensington Palace in London last July. The pair were recently spotted browsing at Pottery Barn Kids at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Says the insider, ?They?ve just begun telling close friends and family. Nicky and James are over the moon!?
Before serving as maid of honor at her sister?s wedding, Paris Hilton told PEOPLE the couple were the ultimate match made in heaven.
?They?re so loyal and they?re so in love. They?re like a prince and princess,? she said before the nuptials. I think it?s important to find someone you trust and love and spent the rest of your life. I think that?s the meaning of life: to get married and have a family.?

If I?m being honest, I never really got this pairing at all. While Nicky is technically an heiress (plus she has her own stuff going on), the Rothschilds are a BIG deal in the UK. They are very, very rich and thought of as a pretty classy family. The Hiltons are ? by any standard ? not at the Rothschilds? ?level.? So with that being said, this might be a real love match? God knows. But this baby will take the two dynasties next-level. The Hiltons and the Rothschilds will forever be associated now. And congrats to Nicky and James!

Nicky Hilton is officially a Rothschild. These are photos of Nicky and James on Thursday, the day before their wedding. Nicky spent her entire wedding week wearing shades of white, and she even flashed her cheeks at Paris fashion week, which is fine because she was wearing the purest of colors. James proposed in August 2014 at Lake Como after three years of dating, so he knew he wasn’t marrying into the classiest family. These two well are financially well-matched, since James is heir to a banking fortune. James also seems like a traditional guy. He flew from his England home to the States to ask the Hiltons for Nicky’s hand in marriage a full month before he proposed.
The Friday wedding was a full-on event. Nicky and James married at the Orangery inside Kensington Gardens, and Us Weekly says the bridal registry totaled $28,000 (which includes $5,000 lamps). Guests included Chelsea Clinton, Kate Beckinsale, and Dorothy Wang. Nicky wore a custom-made, royal-inspired Valentino dress that cost $77,000. This dress feels like the less elegant cousin of Duchess Kate’s wedding dress, right? So much bubbly lace, but it’s more demure than I expected for Nicky.
Something amusing (and slightly disastrous happened) as Nicky left Claridge’s hotel for the wedding venue. Her absurdly long veil got trapped under the wheel of a Bentley. That had to leave a mark.
Paris and Kathy Hilton both wore white pale blue. Paris can’t stop herself from pose-harding at any given moment, even during her sister’s wedding.
After the wedding, Nicky changed back into her usual Hilton attire.

We don’t write about Nicky Hilton all that often. I suspect that’s her entire plan. Nicky is much more reserved than her older sister, Paris. Nicky occasionally tours the party circuit, but she usually keeps to herself. The last time we spoke about Nicky in an actual story was when she broke up with David Katzenberg in 2011. That was a bad year for Nicky. She lost a lot of breakup weight and got stood up by Jared Leto.
Nicky’s private life has turned around over the past few years. She’s been quietly dating James Rothschild. They share a similar background by both being heirs to a prospective fortune. Nicky is, of course, a Hilton. James is heir to a European banking dynasty. It sounds like a pretty even match on paper, and they got engaged at the place they met in 2011. Well done, James:
Five stars and beyond! Nicky Hilton is engaged to her boyfriend James Rothschild, a source exclusively confirms to Us Weekly. The Hilton Hotels heiress and fashion designer, according to the pal, said yes to her banker beau last weekend in Lake Como, Italy.
“They are both really excited and incredibly happy,” the insider tells Us of the pair.
Hilton, 30, and Rothschild (the heir to the famous European banking family) started dating in 2011 after meeting at supermodel Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt’s wedding in Italy. The sentimental spot was the ideal setting for Rothschild to propose.
“They went on a romantic anniversary trip over the weekend,” the source reveals. “He took her out on a boat into the middle of Lake Como and he proposed, got down on one knee and everything. It was incredibly romantic and beautiful.”
Rothschild, it turns out, went to great lengths to make sure all the details were secured before he popped the question. The insider tells Us: “Last month, he actually flew from England (where he is based) to the States to ask her parents for her hand in marriage!”
Now that she’s said “yes,” the newly-engaged couple are celebrating with an engagement-moon of sorts. “They are going on a road trip now throughout Europe and celebrating,” the pal tells Us.
The bride-to-be, younger sister to Paris Hilton, has been posting several happy Instagram snaps from their engagement excursion. So far, the pair have made their way through Milan, Lake Como, and Rome.

Wow. Nicky got an amazing proposal from her man. Dudes need to be more inventive with their proposals in general. The “down on one knee” thing is nice, but James did some inventive planning here. Meanwhile, what has Paris been doing lately? Oh, not wearing panties at parties. Paris has also been making $347K per hour as a “DJ” and dating an early-20s boytoy. That sounds fun in its own right, but I’d still take Nicky’s life over Paris’ shenanigans. Congrats to Nicky and James! He looks really cute in casual gear.

Continuing to keep up with their fashion extravaganzas during New York Fashion Week, Paris and Nicky Hilton attended the Alice + Olivia presentation in New York City on Monday (February 10).
Looking fashion forward as usual, both sisters opted for neutral looks with Paris sporting a black blouse and lace shorts while Nicky rocked a peplum dress.
Eager to check out the latest in designer duds, the "Simple Life" star took to Twitter, writing, "After a chill night in hanging with Peter Pan, now going to bed. Excited to see ALON LIVN & @StaceyBendet's #Alice&Olivia shows tomorrow!"
Later after checking out the A&O event, Paris posted a video showcasing some of her favorite looks of the collection, writing, "Loved the @AliceAndOlivia presentation. So many beautiful designs & such creative installations. #NYFW."

Spending the last morning of 2012 poolside, Nicky Hilton soaked up some sun on Tuesday (December 31) in Miami.
The fashion designer/socialite showed some skin in an animal print bikini as she lounged in a chair playing on her phone.
Ms. Hilton, who plans to spend New Year?s Eve with a few family members and friends, has been tweeting from her South Beach vacation.
Yesterday, she revealed her plans for the day in a tweet: ?Spending my last Sunday of 2012 watching movies in bed with @JAVRothschild..couldn't be happier :)?

Soaking up the sun, Nicky Hilton was spotted with a mystery man on the beach in Malibu, CA on Saturday afternoon (June 9).
The 28-year-old socialite dressed casual in an army green jacket with a black tan and denim shorts as she lounged on the beach and chatted with her friend.
In other news, the Hilton sister recently attended the MTV Movie Awards with her counterpart Paris .
The girls looked gorgeous in black and grey cocktail dresses as they posed in for the awaiting cameras and enjoyed a night with their celebrity friends.

They're always up for a good time, and on Sunday night (June 3) Paris and Nicky Hilton were in the house for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.
The hotel heiresses worked the press area at the Gibson Amphitheatre venue like the pros that they are while readying for the annual tribute to the hottest stars in cinema to get underway.
Sure to be quite the action-packed night, this year's MTV Movie Awards are being hosted by British funnyman Russell Brand while Emma Stone is to receive the first annual Trailblazer Award and Johnny Depp will be honored with the MTV Generation Award for over four decades worth of movie magic.
The show will also feature performances by The Black Keys, fun. and Wiz Khalifa while footage from the forthcoming films "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" will be unveiled during the course of the ceremony.

I’ve never wasted much thought on Nicky Hilton, who seems to make a life out of following Paris and their mother around for paparazzi-filled dinners as well as laughing at Paris’ obnoxious jokes. Although I will admit that it was rather amusing when Nicky dissed Chloe Sevigny’s horrific clothing line. Other than that and compared to her sister, Nicky stays pretty lowkey and quietly dated David Katzenberg for about four years until they split about four months ago. Since then, Nicky’s really had trouble getting her mojo back as evidenced when she was stood up by Jared Leto for a lunch date. Jared Leto, really?
This week’s In Touch has a story about how Nicky’s dropped in excess of 15 pounds since her big breakup. Since she was already pretty small, the tabloid alleges that her friends are concerned and planning an intervention:
She drinks a lot of coffee but doesn’t eat,” says Nicky’s friend. “No one has confronted her about it yet but they will if she continues to lose.”
It’s been more than four months since their fomance ended, but Nicky Hilton still isn’t over her ex-boyfriend David Katzenberg, and she has the weight loss to prove it. Always on the the thinner side, a friend reveals that Nicky has lost more than 15 pounds since David, 28, dumped her back in July, and the unlucky-in-love heiress continues to lose weight. “Nicky was blindsided when David ended their raltionship after four years,” her friend says, “When he told her they needed to talk, she was expecting an engagement ring, not a kiss-off.” In addition to her love woes, the friend says that Nicky, 28, is also worried about her career as the offers aren’t coming in these days like they used to a few years back. “Nicky wasn’t focused on her career when she was with David, but now she is,” the friend says. “It’s causing her some angst and affecting her appetite.”

Ah yes, the classic “break-up diet.” I’ve been prone to those myself, for nothing kills the appetite quite so well as realizing a significant number wasted years with the wrong person. Nicky does look a lot thinner these days. Here she is on 7/30 immediately post-Katzenberg:
