It was a sea of cowboy boots and 10-gallon hats outside the Bridgestone Arena as Keith Urban made his arrival at the 48th Annual CMA Awards tonight (November 5).
Joined by his lovely wife Nicole Kidman, the ?Days Go By? star was in great spirits as he mingled with fellow guests during one of the hottest Nashville nights of the year.
This year Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will return to host the massive event, featuring performers like Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw.
As for the Entertainer of the Year nominees, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, George Strait and Luke Bryan are all in the running alongside Urban.

Hoping over the border, Nicole Kidman arrived in Seoul, South Korea this afternoon (October 2) to promote her campaign with Omega De Ville Prestige.
The ?Paddington? actress looked lovely in a form-fitting black gown as she struck a few poses for the press and showed off the Butterfly timepiece on her delicate wrist.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Kidman broke her silence after losing her father unexpectedly last month.
?We would just like to thank everyone for their love and prayers over these past couple of weeks," Nicole said in a joint-statement posted on Facebook with her husband Keith Urban.
"We are all heartbroken, but knowing we are in the hearts and thoughts of others is so comforting.?

Last week Dr. Antony Kidman passed away in Singapore and this morning (September 15) Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban jetted into Sydney, Australia to meet with family and make funeral arrangements.
The ?Moulin Rouge? actress and her ?God?s Been Good To Me? country crooner hubby both looked understandably somber as they arrived at Nicole?s mom?s house in the Greenwich neighborhood, carrying a large bouquet of flowers.
As a result of the family tragedy, Keith has cancelled several concerts, including a charity event in California.
He wrote, ?I'm so very sorry that I cannot perform this weekend. We are in a deep state of grief at the passing of Nic's Father and are heading to Australia to be with family. We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for their love, prayers and support through this devastating loss.?

Nicole Kidman is the cover girl of the newest issue of The Edit, net-a-porter.com?s in-house magazine. I usually like The Edit?s editorials and this one is? okay. If I?m being honest, I?ll say that I think it took a mountain of Botox, fairy dust and Photoshop to make Nicole Kidman look like a hard 39. I always try to convince myself that Nicole occasionally eases up on the ?Tox and fillers but this editorial just shows that at the age of 47, Nicole still wants to play 33. Nicole on her life in Nashville with Keith & their kids: ?We watch America?s Funniest Home Videos and reruns of The Brady Bunch, that?s very much our life.?
Her emotions were intense as a child: ?I loved getting lost in characters and a lot of that was to do with not being comfortable with who I was, so [I created] a fantasy life. I had intense feelings as a child; I used to cry when my mother would go and play bridge. I?d be crying in bed, waiting for her to come home. My depth of emotion was powerful.?
On bad reviews: ?When [reactions are] amazing I?m up front and center; when they?re bad I?m up front and center. I like to push it, test how far I can go with things. Not for the sake of just being provocative, but for the sake of not conforming and saying, ?There?s not necessarily a right and a wrong here, there?s a gray.? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn?t, but I say to myself, ?Okay, just keep trying stuff.??
She?s tired of actors famous for being famous: ?The way in which actors are defined is so different now. So much of it is by their clothes and how they look and all of the celebrity that surrounds that, whereas it used to be you went to drama school and you were trained as an actor.?
How she decides what projects to do: ?Ultimately I ask Keith, ?Is this a possibility to do?? It may sound old-fashioned, but I want the family to work. And I feel pain when I?m away; I literally feel a yearning and a pain?I?m on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer and my husband says to me, ?You?ve become more Cancer ? you?re all about the family now.??
Work/family decisions: ?For actresses, if you?re in a relationship, there?s an enormous amount of give and take, particularly when you get pregnant. They say your art gets affected when you have a family, but I’d much rather have a family. Having experienced the greatest awards and accolades, the idea of being alone with that doesn?t work for me. It may for somebody else, but it?s not for me.?
Late in life love: ?Keith always says, ?We?re lucky we met late in life. The sadness of that is we can?t have six kids together, but the greatness of that is [we are done] with all the other stuff, so now we are totally present for this.? That?s a great thing to hear from a man,? says Kidman. At his concert on their wedding anniversary in Australia earlier this year, Urban dedicated a song to his wife with the words, ?Eight years, baby girl. This song is for you. I love you so much.? Even her friends, she says, were jealous of that one. ?I had two girlfriends sitting with me and they were like, ?Bitch!?? Kidman laughs. ?I went, ?Hey! I?ve been to hell and back!??
The hell of being married to Tom Cruise? ?Now I have the ability to go, ?Okay, this too shall pass.? Sometimes you?ve just got to navigate through pain and depression. Maybe you have a down day, but life is contrast. I?d rather feel it and know it.?
On giving birth: “Giving birth is just whoa! What I remember the most is the cry. When the baby is born the cry penetrates on such a deep level and Keith says that too. He goes, ‘what about that cry!’ And we actually did record our birth. So we’ve heard it back. And every time it jolts me back into the moment.”

This was one of the best Kidman interviews I?ve read in a while. For most of ?the Keith years,? she?s been less direct in interviews, more touchy-feely and New Age-speak. I think she?s probably pretty New Age-y in real life too ? I got a kick out of her talking about the Gemini-Cancer cusp. I also got a kick out of Nicole describing her ?depth of emotion? as a child and how she got to a point where she didn?t want to be alone. Eh. Let her have it. I?m fine with this version of Nicole, I just wish she had a more natural face.
Oh, and as for the childbirth stuff? that?s so old-school. The controversy about Nicole?s pregnancy and birth of Sunday Rose was pre-Beyonce-pillow. I still don?t know if I believe that Nicole faked that pregnancy. Hm.

Sporting thigh-high stockings with a lovely retro brazier and a black skirt, the ?Moulin Rouge? mama writhes around on the ground while her male pursuer has his way with her.
And when everything is said and done, Nicole appears to be worn out and satisfied as she remains in the dirt while lensman Steven Klein snaps up film noir-inspired images.
Ms. Kidman is featured on one version of the Interview Fall Fashion cover, in addition to Keira Knightley and Naomi Campbell.

Reporting for duty on the set of their new movie, Nicole Kidman and Jason Bateman ran lines together for ?The Family Fang? in New Jersey on Thursday (August 7).
Both the ?Moulin Rouge? babe and the ?Arrested Development? stud were in good spirits as they chatted and laughed while sneaky shutterbugs snapped up photos.
Kidman previously shared that while she?s always in great shape, it?s not something she obsesses over.
?There's certainly no secret regime. I wish there was. I'm actually not that strict with my diet. I pretty much eat anything, but all in moderation. Likewise with fitness, I try not to be too strict with it and mix it up to make sure it stays fun.?

Showing some love to her Chinese fans, Nicole Kidman promoted her new movie ?Grace of Monaco? in Shanghai today (June 16).
The ?Moulin Rouge? stunner chatted with television presenter Yang Lang prior to the big premiere, looking amazing in a conservative black dress with matching heels.
Meanwhile, after Kidman showed up at the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball in Melbourne last week, everyone?s been talking about Nicole?s lady pillows.
Her rep has declined to comment on the apparent bust boost, but last year Kidman told press, ?No surgery for me; I did try Botox, unfortunately, but I got out of it and now I can finally move my face again.?

Nicole Kidman was in China this weekend to promote Grace of Monaco and to attend the opening ceremony of the 17th Shanghai International Film Festival. These are photos from the opening ceremony ? Nicole actually wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress from 2007! This is not a new design, and while it feels familiar, I don?t remember seeing this particular dress on a red carpet before (maybe I?m wrong about that). I actually love this dress on her. Is that wrong? This feels like old-school Nicole Kidman, when she would wear amazing beaded concoctions that weighed forty pounds but looked incredible on her statuesque figure.
Something else that?s nice: while Nicole?s face still looks frozen, at least she?s not AS Botoxed to hell and back, like she was during the Cannes Film Festival. Maybe the fillers/Botox have settled? It?s too much to hope that she actually gave up her injectables.
Something not nice: Nicole was in Australia last week to attend the Celebrate Life Ball, and she wore a terrible Prada gown which looked awful on her. Is it alright to admit that her bolt-ons are just too big? I mean, if she wanted bigger boobs, God bless. But I feel like these were poorly done and they really do look stiffly bolted to her chest.

Having a blast in their homeland, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban showed up at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia on Friday (June 13) for a great cause.
The ?Kiss a Girl? crooner and his ?Moulin Rouge? actress were in the house to help raise money for the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball and they looked plenty cozy as the posed for the paparazzi.
Nicole selected a cleavage-bearing nude Prada gown for the occasion, though her most enviable accessory was her handsome hubby Urban in his black suit.
Though they?ve been hit with rocky relationship rumors, there were thankfully no signs of trouble in paradise for Nic and Keith.

Nicole Kidman made an appearance at last night?s CMT Awards to support her husband, Keith Urban. This was her first red carpet since the utter disaster that went down at the Cannes Film Festival ? Nicole?s Grace Kelly movie was universally slammed by critics, and Nicole?s appearance at Cannes was universally slammed by everyone because she looked like a Botox disaster. This CMT appearance was also the first joint appearance by Nicole and Keith in months ? there were rumors flying around a month ago that their marriage is faltering, although Nicole has said in many interviews that her marriage is fine.
As for this CMT appearance?Nicole wore Giambattista Valli Couture. Er? this looks super-cheap and poorly designed. What in the world? Even though we can debate whether or not Nicole looks like she?s made of wax these days, I remember a time (not so long ago) when Nicole could always deliver great fashion p0rn. This dress is beneath her.
A few more photos? Brooklyn Decker in a super-simple, casual Jilll Stuart sundress and Beth Behrs in Erin Fetherston, which looks way too conservative and mumsy on such a young woman.
